It's not a real big deal because I'm never gonna run around in my system body anymore.. It is where I can't see my system body but my alt can.. I even did a clean and new install of my firestorm viewer.. I'm gonna try and see if it happens with the SL viewer.. I did notice a little bit back when I was skin shopping, I think last weekend maybe, that my mesh head was pure white.. It's just strange is all I guess, not that it's something I will be noticing all the time.. ETA: OK, I took off my Maitreya hud and it shows my system body now.. I may have to get a new hud or something.. I'm showing all in my alphas and my body is BOM, so it could also be a memory thing or something.. hehehehe ETA: Yep, That's what it was.. I just needed a new copy of my Maitreya hud..

I went to check to see if I could try and make it happen on one of my bodies.. Strange thing is, I have zero alphas on and my system body doesn't even show now.. I remove my BOM skins from my head and it is pure white but still has my makeup on.. I'm showing I have a base skin on my system body but I'm invisible from the neck down when I remove my mesh body... hehehe I even tried really old skins from before mesh and nothing.. I don't remember it being like this a week or so ago..

Sometimes it is just connection like pinging and can also be how much is going on in the sim and in your SL and sometimes it is the music server.. I know on my old computer when I had some issues, I would have to restart the music stream , as well as sometimes the music would stutter.. Something that might help is making sure you don't have a lot of processes running in the background.. I found sometimes that helps when I cut those down.

I watched this when I got home from getting my shot.. I laid in bed and fell asleep while watching it..When I woke up the boys were laying there with me watching it.. It was a nice way to wake up.. I ended up starting it again and watched the whole thing.. It's really very good.. We're gonna watch this later today.. It looks like a pretty good Western.. I love the actor that plays Henry.. His is always so good in everything he does.. Oh Brother Where Art Thou He had me in tears laughing.. They all did really.. But Old Henry is supposed to be like a Western "John Wick" from what I've heard about it..

Ok, I'm gonna stop derailing this thread, but just have to ask something since I don't want to start up a thread for it.. they never end well.. hehehe How long did it take after your shots before things started to hurt or feel any symptoms.. I'm thinking the second shot might be the one that's gonna lay me up.. it's been like 13 hours and I haven't felt much but a little pain in my arm where I got the shot.. I think I had a good shot giver, because I've had more pain from getting shots for pain or steroids for like pneumonia.. Those always hurt really bad.. I think maybe she has given so many shots that she's super pro.. hehehe She even said sorry for making me flinch because she thought she hurt me .. I said no that didn't hurt at all.. I think I flinched because there has been so much buildup about the shot that I anticipated it being worse than it was.. I was expecting someone just worn out from giving shots that it was gonna be like giving shots to farm animals.. hehehe I'm just curious how long before anyone started to feel pain or symptoms from the shot? I won't talk about it anymore in here, I'll just respond with the smiley's so I don't drift the thread anymore.. Thanks..

I'm gonna say my lelutka head is probably the easiest for me.. Really they all aren't too bad once you learn their hud or huds.. Probably the hardest one for me to understand was the catwa huds and really those weren't even too bad..

You should take that to twitter or better yet facebook and say, pfft second life has been doing it for years already.. Then post that image. hehehehe

I'm probably not gonna worry about it until it happens.. hehehe

I guess there is a loophole for the mandate.. Well one isn't a loophole, which is if your doctor feels the shot would somehow be a high risk.. Basically it has to be a medical reason.. The other is, the person has to say it is against their religious beliefs.. Actually they have to fill out a form to have it in writing and hand it back in. I think work was obligated to hand those forms out though. Work handed us the the paper work for that as well as the locations to get the shot..also they will be having the shots brought to our work so we don't have to go and get them, which is nice.. We can get them on the way out of work. They do that with the flu shots every year also. I just can't wait to get mine.. I get my first one tomorrow, finally..

What's creepy about a virus is, there is no cure for any virus, because a virus can't be killed because a virus isn't alive.. You can put a virus into remission, but it's always there. When we stress out or eat poorly or let our immunity become too low or all kinds of things.. They can come back as something else.. like having the chicken pox, then later that virus coming out of remission and we get the shingles. Once you get a virus, you always have it.

I'm a bit too unplugged these days I think to really feel that deep about it.. hehehe I do remember a time when I was hooked pretty good though.. This guy was hooked too but ended up leaving and then wrote a song about his perspective of Second life.. It's still a good song I think.. Goes like dis.. hehehe

You should have a media texture in your library in your inventory.. I'm pretty sure that's where I found mine.. I made a penthouse a few years ago and decided to go crazy with it while watching music videos.. hehehe The reason it looks cut off on the back wall is because that's not a back wall but where my balcony texture would usually go.. So you could see the full thing if you were on the balcony.. This is looking in from the balcony if I were glued to the media texture.. hehehe Media texture is a lot of fun to mess around with and try neat things.. hehehe ETA: Just to add.. It's just a regular media texture and can't do a lot of the things a scripted tv would be able to do.. The TV's are nice with all their channels and things they have on them..

I'm really not worried about the shot itself.. I just want to get on the other side of already having them because there is so much build up around these shots.. hehehe I think I more or less just want to turn the noise off.. hehehe

I don't think I'm scared but more anxious , because I'm finally getting my first shot this Friday. I've been wanting to get it for awhile now and the mandate is finally making it possible.. Mainly because work is making us get it now, so there won't be any kind of problem when I don't show up if there is any side effects.. The side effects are not what has me anxious.. It's that if there is a scenario out there that I have heard about, I've met someone that has experienced it.. From someone passing away from the virus in their mid 20's and healthy as is gets, to someone passing away from reaction to the shot.. Someone getting the shots and still getting the virus, as well as someone getting the virus and then getting the virus again.. I just want to get my shots and be done with it.. I'm so worn out on hearing the political build up that has made things so much more difficult and actually made things worse.. I remember almost everyone just waiting for a vaccine and worried that there wouldn't be one for a long long time.. Then politics got involved and it became a childish game of, I'm not taking trumps vaccine, I'm not taking Bidens vaccine.. I'm thinking if they would have just kept their big mouths shut, There would probably be a lot more vaccinated right now.. Start telling people they have to do this or that or pinning them into a corner, even a mouse with stand up for itself backup like that. I kind of lost it at work last night because I was talking about my appointment for my shot.. Then some political drone steps over talking about the constitution.. He brought the street out in me big time.. I'm not gonna repeat what I said because I don't like swearing, But I just wanted that Hive minder to know that nobody is making me do anything.. I've been wanting to get my shot for a long time, but because I have to go out on the floor and cover their asses, I couldn't. This wasn't supposed to be and rant and I'm sorry.. I wasn't even gonna bring it up, but It just feels good letting it go somewhere..

I like the hips, they look a bit more natural and placed well.. I'll see when I get my hands on a demo if it feels right.. I love when a new body hits the market! \o/ hehehe
