  1. If you think about it though, They more than likely use a lot of the same tones for all their skins.. Rather than add a zillion items to everyones inventory with each skin purchase, why not just have a pack that covers them all.. Kind of like many do with body skins..
  2. I haven't been to the store this week.. I just seen the update information on their flicker right after I logged in and seen they sent me 1.5.
  3. From the sound of it both the body as well as the heads are modify Kalhene ERIKA Update v1.5 - Now ERIKA Mesh Body and heads (included in the Package) are MODIFY! - Added Long Toenails Add-on (works with the Main HUD from the body) You should receive your update inworld (sent by the server) but you can use also the redelivery at the Mainstore or Marketplace maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Heels/61/107/535 Kalhene Developers-Releases Flickr group: www.flickr.com/groups/14800916@N23/pool/
  4. I'm grateful for not having to go to work for the next 5 days Let alone everyone else is going camping but me.. So this should be interesting.. I can't remember the last time I actually had real time to myself.. hehehe
  5. Yea, I hate even helping people move.. hehehe We moved a lot when I was younger, but we're pretty settled in now to where this is the last place.. I don't envy you, but hope where you are going is well worth it..
  6. If you can get close to the land you can use your camera view and cam in, right click and choose Take and take your stuff back.
  7. I seen this earlier.. It was really interesting and educating..
  8. But but but, propane. hehehe We actually had a truck that ran on propane..What a beater that thing was.. hehehe
  9. Yea, they have a few things in their store made for Erika..
  10. While out west they were droughting and in a heat wave, We've been getting wet and heat with major humidity. I hate the humidity.. When I go to work at night I have to put on my wipers and it's not even raining, it's just that humid.. it's been like that all summer long.. to top it off, it's about 30 degrees hotter in the plant than it is outside and even more humid because of the sprayers spraying the dies every cycle.. The company put in 5 big freezers in the break room filled with gatorade popsicles for the employees to grab when they feel like it.. Those things really work too.. hehehe We've been getting rain more than usual. That keeps the creeks high, so it's much easier for flash flooding like what took over Waverly to happen if them floods find any weak links anywhere..
  11. Yea, it's staying on the path the models were projecting, so far.. Where I am it's not really bad because we're up higher than any flooding.. Then there are the places that usually flash flood and are expected to, so people just stay back from those. Waverly was just nature widdling away at something in it's way and over time, she pushed her way through.. It's very tragic, but now they'll end up finding a solution so something like that doesn't happen again, if they can help it.. It should also trigger other places with similar conditions to look their area over as well.. Hopefully anyways.
  12. It's getting more and more creators.. I believe I've seen three new ones just this weekend.. It's feeling like, The little engine that could.. hehehe
  13. We're not looking forward to all that water coming our way.. Last week we had major flash flooding in one area called Waverly that caught so many people off guard.. They are still looking for people that are missing from it.. People were up in their attics thinking they were gonna have to bust through the roof the water was so high.. It happened so fast and they had nowhere to go , because they were surrounded by creeks that were building up before they cut loose.. It was just horrifyingly terrible. It's like 21 people didn't make it so far I think. For a small town like them to lose that many people at one time is so traumatic to the community. Everybody knows everybody.
  14. I had one poof the moment I put it on.. I just deleted it and went to the next Item I was gonna demo.. I just don't have the time to be running back to an event that takes a bit to get back into because it's crowded.. If I wanted the item bad enough I would have, but it has to be something pretty nice for me to be double timing it.. hehehe
  15. They are expecting it to be a cat 5.. It's cat4 right now.. Plus expecting 150mph wind gusts, where Katrina was 125.. ETA: I'm gonna add this one also.. Tracking Ida: Live streaming coverage
  16. I haven't been in on the 200 pages of back and forth , I only know they did what they did and what they said when they told us.. All the holding of breath isn't gonna get them to change it back, so no need for me to dig any deeper than what they said themselves. Besides if history has taught us anything around here, They could have been even more transparent, but there still would have been all the arguing.. Because a lot of it from what I can tell is, Gacha good, Gacha bad, arguing more than anything. Just about anything LL changes usually has threads with arguing.. It hasn't really gotten anyone anywhere..
  17. This is at the start of their explanation.. Due to a changing regulatory climate, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to sunset a very popular sales mechanism for content in Second Life. It’s widely known as "gacha", and is defined by a chance-based outcome as a result of a payment.
  18. I don't really do the social network thing on Flickr.. It's always been just a place for me to upload images.. If I ever link them, it's usually to here somewhere.. I'm in groups ,but just SL groups like store owners and things like that.. When I joined Flickr, that's pretty much what it was was just a place to upload to.. I don't remember all the follower stuff and things like that back then.. If it was there I sure didn't notice it.. I just make sure now that if there is even the slightest iffy thing in my images, I make sure it's rated Moderate.
  19. I probably have enough of those stories to write a book, with more always coming in for a part two.. hehehe The thing that always amazes me is, Other parents will tell me how well behaved and such gentlemen they are around them.. I'm always like, My boys? Really, My boys? 0o hehehe
  20. I bet it was the feeling of the carbonation.. either she wasn't expecting it to be soda or it was her first time having one.. hehehehe Babies and little ones use their mouth to test things out, that's why they are always putting everything in their mouth.. With my two oldest, they had this period where they would stick things in their ears.. Not pencils or sharp things, but try to plug the hole.. My oldest, we thought he did something to his left ear because he lost his hearing in it, we took him into the doctors and they pulled out this tiny piece of sponge.. I was like, what in the world? I thought he was going deaf.. I was so relieved.. Then my middle son, He ended up not being able to hear out of his left ear and I was like, OMG you stuck something in your ear!! We took him to the doctor and they found a dandelion bud in his ear.. I was like, How did you even get that in there?! That thing is bigger than your ear hole! I always tell the youngest one, if his older brothers try to make him do anything, come get me right away.. He'd end up with something in both ears by the time they were done with him.. hehehe
  21. I don't know about a favorite funny alien, because there are so many. But I did laugh at this whole scene.. Sam Rockwell as Guy, which had a role in their show as one of the guys that always got killed at the beginning.. He always cracks me up really good in just about any of his comic roles.. Even in Green mile he was pretty funny at times. hehehe
