Some pet peeves, big and small: - People putting non unisex stuff in the unisex apparel categories. 🤬(Yes i know they can be reported and they are.) - Clothing labeled unisex but it actually isn't. - Having to sieve through tons of furry clothing just to get to unisex clothing. - when an attachment just flop-flops and clip-clops all over the show when you dance. meaning you have to stealthy remove and replace. -When you get the perfect picture set-up. the lights are great the pose is A+ AND THEN YOU CRASH. 😱 Meaning you have to set the camera position all over again.. - When people use low intelligence/intellectuality as an insult. As someone with learning problems the issue isn't that society is full of idiots, it's that it's full of propganda and lack of true teaching.

Respect is a two way street. I for one do not see it as very respectful to instantly dismiss and assume hostility where there is none. Cisgender people really don't understand what it's like when people routinely berate and dismiss their identities routinely. That's perfectly fine! No single people can experience or understand every state of existence. Cisgender people also don't have their looking for [x] threads hijacked with overly dismissive and hurtful language over how they don't "get it." (unless they're PoC or LGB+) or have their experiences as marginalised people instantly erased because they did not word things in the most soft and non-threatening manner possible. Sometimes even then they're erased. This is not ok and I've seen it more then once any time a Trans person tries to connect with people through the fourms. and I wouldn't say identity doesn't matter. just looking in this forum, the lifestyle and relationships the SL Search or even sim descriptions and titles. Plenty of places where identity plays a part, To op: Hey I'm also Nonbinary. a European one. But I'm willing to chat due to having a case of being someone that doesn't sleep until late at night my time. Expect a poking soon!

Since becoming open with my Non binary identity and ditching the pixel boobs the weird ims have dried up allot. Thankfully.But before then I would usually either ignore or do some light trolling depending on my mood. Not enough to get my banned. But enough to give them the picture that their random ass attemptings at bumping pixel uglies wouldn't work. 🤣

My petpeeve: Folks that act bigoted to a person one moment then try to act all buddy-,buddy the next as if they hadn't just been an absolute stinky onion.

I changed my name. The old one no longer fit due to other life changes since I made my sl account all those years ago. I am much happier with this one. ^.^

Finally got my mitts on the New (FREE) Catwa Head Freya. I love them so much I went all bright and sunnny.

Feeling mixed, Yesterday I spent time with the family I made on here and it was great. But the day before and yesterday had either an overwhelming or undercurrent of anger and depression over a very... upsetting situation. A thing I can't really go into detail on the fourms due to my own principals and the fact that it's such a public setting. But I feel like I could explode in rage and sorrow over it. I can't even go to my usual support spaces due to this pandemic.

This is part of why "my product my rules no ifs and buts" is a a very thin line between acceptable and reasonable and utter moon logic. Yes one should take measures to ensure their hard work isn't balently stolen. That's just reasonable considering the hours of labour that went into them. However if you're not giving your customers any chance to truly inspect the item at all. and act like an ***** about it it? Uuuh.. maybe take an online class on Retail and business practises before trying to make money via selling gods to the public. maybe? Just a thought from your friendly neighbourhood sales assistant. Good effective Demos are a must when it comes to Second life. Especially these days where there's allot of competition and false advertising. People like the one in OP's example are only hurting themselves by not just having a demo. But actively behaving in an aggressive manner about it. The Customer has limited funds and there's allot of other skin makers out there, With demos!

Oh lordy, you're right. How did I forget those abominations? Edit: and my newest pet peeve of the day, my inability to find cute gothic or ouji styled clothing for my body (V tech/maitreya) that isn't overly skimpy. (I do like some skimpy but sometimes i just wanna be a cute prince ok..)

Honestly, allot of the so called femmine stuff isn't all that inspired either. It's less feminine flare and more a bunch of crop tops. in the exact same style. Over and over again. As someone who wears men, women and all that's in between) Fashion. There's a huge lack of diversity across the board. But men's fashion seems to be suffering from it the most. Yes there are gems out there. But in comparison to women/feminine fashion. There's far less variety. SL Creators, seem to be suffering allot of creative burnout or follow the leader syndrome. Coupled with mesh and it's difficulty, and few are willing or able to create for different substyles, even amongst mainstream 2020 rl fashions. and it's kind saddening really.

So much this. So many different styles of menswear. even in mainstream fashion in real life. But in Second life. It's the same style of sweatpants, vest tops and maybe if you're lucky a black suit with a white shirt. 😑 I'm just so bored.

I'm feeling lonely. tired and just so bloody fed up of people off and online trying to tell me how my Gender is Anti-science/just for attention/insert other falsehood here. I am tired of being misgendered, deadnamed and otherwise verbally torn down all because I dare try to live as myself in peace. Between the lockdown, the verbal vomits of transphobia and a whole heap of woes. I just can't find the energy to do anything but sleep, eat and watch youtube videos while questioning when did my life become a pile of misery and getting angry at everything. I just want to find a place to belong without having to constantly justify my existence, is that really so wrong?

Oh gawd No. They'd take up way too much wardobe space and complain about the weather too. Not to mention the rp personaility..is a bit evil.. I mean the aesethics. 10/10 But I try not to date evil Doll-people.

I'm Non binary and I try to make my avatar as non binary looking as possible in turn. It can be pretty hard, but rewarding to be myself.

I have a few things from Bare Rose. yet surprisingly not much of what they have falls along the Ouji lines. At least from what I could find.

Hey there folks. While I know masculine fashion tends to be a bit limited in styles. I was wondering if anyone had any luck finding Ouji/"Prince" Stle fashion in the great big Second life world. My attempts on the marketplace have been very slim. For those unaware , Ouji is basically the masculine counterpart to Lolita Fashion. I've included a reference photo right here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Acutally trans suicide is caused by others rejecting our indenity to the point of abusing us. From family disownment, eviction, violence and of course to be blunt: people like yourself who think that trans women, trans men (who are rarely if ever brought up by your sort. Why the hyper fixition on trans women?) and non binary people are just fetishists mutaliating ourselves instead of you know. People just trying to live regular lives like anybody else. With respect, dignity and the right to not be harassed or killed.

(Soft reminder when it comes to age demographics that the millennial generation is commonly agreed to be from 1981 to 1996 so there's allot of millenials who are already here and in their 30's) Second life has been called dying since well. when I first joined. Will it eventually die off? of course. nothing lasts forever. But for it's age it sure as hells doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon. I mean just look at the things The lab has implemented just in the past few years alone. Why would they continue to invest resources into something "dying. No capitalist-leaning company would do that. The population has been very steady. creators have been pumping item after item. Bellarisa is very populous. Which means there's enough premium users around to make an active community that actually entices non premium users to visit and attend events at the region. As for how it could attract younger, Well. put aside any stereotypes about the younger generations for a moment and instead focus on UI-enhancements and SL could very well prove be pretty attractive to them. People here have been grumbling about the user interface and accessibility. So imagine how much daunting/outdated it must be to those not already onboard.

I'd finally be able to rename my account to Robin (Lastname) and probably do a lil' happy dance.
