When I remember right, someelse did ask here when the viewer will be adapted to the DK2 ... so this might be the reason, it just doesn't work with the new DK2. I also asked some guy with a Mac, that he can't even run the DK2 on his Mac.

It looks like you are wearing a blending sock or tattoolayer... usualy they are white and you need to recolour them to blend over to your skin tone easier from the feet. OR its a blend "ring" attached to the feet for the same purpose. Then you can recolour it with the HUD that you usualy get with such feet or turn it off. Refer to the manual please how to do it.

Thanks for adding the info ( I wanted to have the whole info window, but ok for now). Did you try anything suggestet of the first link I posted? Using a Mac you need to make sure you use the Mac OS 10.7 or newer now. Anything older might cause strange errors. If that is the case, try at first to restart your DSL Modem/Router. Fore that you unplug the powercord(s) and wait 1-2 minutes and plug it in again and try it again. In some cases you might have luck and it will fix it. If you did use wireless, try also a wired connection...maybe some friends/neighbours have also (new) wireless and that might interfere. Checking all cables between your router and modem and Mac if they are damaged in some way is a good idea. Even Natalas writing sounds a bit techie, reading it can help you narrow down the issue. In some cases you might need to call the ISP to fix it. Even if the rest of the internet seems to work well for you, there might be some trouble with the connection.

Without knowing about your PC specs and your internet connection it is very hard to give you a hint. But for now it sounds like you have a low/ not reliable internet connection and or a low end PC that doesn't meet the minimum requirements. You asked this earlier. The answers there didn't help? If you have trouble with english, try your first language. Many of us also know inworld people with different languages and can redirect you to those. If you ask for the password for japonica7 then you have it! If you use a browser like Mozilla Firefox to access here and you didn't had to type it, it will be saved in the browser. The password is managed in the preferences in that browser. Opera has also a password manager. Otherwise you need to follow jeffrey1 suggestions.

You should be able to edit the preferences before you login! Look at the menu bar after the viewer startet for “Me“ then preferences. Aber ich befuerchte, du musst einen scripter finden, oder selber hand anlegen. Scriptkurse findet man ja in SL recht haeufig, wenn es in deutsch sein muss, such mal nach DID, Deutsche SL Schule oder der VHS Goslar.

You can have either of both. Linden Home OR Mainland of the same size. So you need to abandon the Linden Home first. The landtier will be calculated for the peak you have to a certain time, even if you have it only one second So if you abandon the land, your level will be not MORE than the 512:)

In some browsers the passwords are saved, like Firefox. So if you can login here and didn't type the password, you can see it (Firefox has that in the preferences).

Yes. The amount of deeded land counts, not the size of the whole pacrel in the end. So if you have 2 people that deeded their 512 qm to the group, yes. Only they need to be in the same sim (I had once a couple bought two parcels of 512, but they were both in a different sim...) (You can't deed and join Linden Homes tho) If you have some luck and find a parcel with the right size in the sim, you can also have 10% land for deeded mainland without increasing the landtier. I use that 10% too.

A 1/4 sim is a 1/4 sim in size;) But a sim has 256m and 256m in x and y axis. It starts at the SW corner with 0,0 and ends NE with 256,256. So it has 65536sqm in size for the whole sim. That dividied by 4 you get the sqm for your piece of the sim. If you need the m for each edge, you can look where the parcel starts (let it start at 0,0 as an example) walk along the x axis (SW corner to SE Corner) to the other end of the 1/4 parcel... which is usualy like 128,0...so you have 128 for one direction. Then do the same for the other axis, SW corner to NE corner till the end of your parcel. To verify your result you can take x * y to get the sqm agin.

Check in the estate menu (World-Region/estate) region tab if the terraforming is allowed.

Adding to Lindal's post: There will be always a slight difference in tone/colour because the bodyparts are "prims" and they will handle light and shadow effect different. (prims includes sculpts and mesh;))

Adding to Rolig's answer, at some vendors you need to chose "Pay" instead of "Buy".

How did you test your Internet? Speedtest? Watching a movie? The best is to open the viewer and open the statistics bar. Even everything seems to run fine, you can't see how reliable the connection is. To open the statistics bar, hit ctrl + shift + 1 and look for Ping Sim and Packetloss. Is Ping Sim much more than 300 ms and Packet Loss more than 3%, theres something fishy for sure. In any case I would try at first to restart the modem/router and try again. After that I would see, if the antivirus is making issues, also firewall. It could be also some part at the ISP end. Natales has a good blog entry, she might provide the link to it, I can't find it now and don't have it bookmarked here;)

You need to buy a few Lindens before you can actually sell. Then the clock starts. If you don't buy, nothing happens. Thats how it works. Then it will happen as Innula says.

@jeffrey: then you need to start off by typying your name, and if there 3 boxes the next is were you type resident, if only 2 boxes then do not type resident at all the last box type your password. Its just wrong. You don't seem to know that names, that have actually a first and a last name don't have the resident! Only single name users like you need to put in the "Resident" for viewers that have a splitet First and Last Name "box".
