I was previously having issues with someone else who wouldn't render appropriately for my viewer (someone else in world commented that this person wasn't rendinering correctly for them either; the afflicted person's torso had a cylinder of clothing texture, or skin texture when naked, that would drop down through the ground). Tryihg to find some way, any way, to change the situation and possibly correct the problem (assuming the problem was with my viewer and not the other person, which I now this it was), I foolishly checked the "Advanced Lighting Model" under preferences. SL immediately closed itself, and now every time I try to open second life, it closes before the login screen can finish loading. uninstalling the software and reinstalling it doesn't do a thing. How do I correct this issue?
