  1. DOUBLE PRIM parcel protected by water on three sides. Located adjacent to roadway, with a good view of two bridges (including the lovely Straits of Shermerville bridge). Easy access by car and boat (and plane, I suppose!) to Bay City, Shermerville/Blumfield/West Haven, and on into some of the older regions of Sansara. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Miramare/38/125/25 512 sq.m. 350 LI L$129,999
  2. Great location on Route 66, the main road going through Bay City to Nova Albion. This parcel is on a corner lot, with a Mole-built bowling alley directly across Route 66, a Linden park (with trolley stop) diagonally across, and a well-known Bay City hangout across the side road that runs alongside the parcel. Good visibility for a small shop or even a home, and a perfect place to hang out to watch various Bay City events like parades and rumbles (races), or to catch one of the trolleys as they pass by. It's in the west half of Bay City, which is G rated, so kid and family friendly! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Bay%20City%20-%20Mashpee/48/36/25 512 sq.m. 350 LI L$120,000
  3. Protected waterway parcel on the Sandy Beach Trail in Tessentor (Gaeta I continent). Rez zone nearby with a fun Linden inner tube rezzer that lets you float across the Tessentor Canal directly in front of your new home (or catch a pod, if you prefer)! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Tessentor/78/44/21 1,120 sq.m. L$16,800
  4. *SOLD* Perfect for sailing - Large water parcel on the Atoll, protected by boardwalks. Near the historic Moth Temple, with access to open water. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Iris/92/200/22 2,592 sq.m. L$38,880
  5. It usually shows the parcel yellow a day or so before the little price tag appears. In the reverse, once a parcel sells, the yellow box disappears before the price tag does.
  6. How long ago did you abandon the land? You will be billed each month for the highest amount of land you owned the previous month, even if you only owned it for one day (or less!). So, for example, if you abandoned that land on the first day of August, you'd still be billed for it for the month of August.
  7. I second the Bazar recommendation. The Stockholm bed is a favorite of mine (the Leah one looks pretty modern, too): https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/BAZARStockholm-Bed-ADULT/16788251 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/BAZARLeah-Bedroom-ADULT/22877314
  8. I wondered about that, because I was pretty sure I'd done so in the past as well.
  9. Interestingly, it seems that how it's supposed to work now is that the newly joined parcel shows the attributes of the largest of the parcels that were joined, rather than how it used to be (which was as you described). https://community.secondlife.com/knowledgebase/english/managing-your-parcel-r49/ This doesn't answer why it didn't work at all, but I had no idea they'd changed that process.
  10. As I recall from when I bought one, it should only take a few minutes for the region to be created. If you are having trouble getting to it after LL opens this morning, contact live chat for help.
  11. Do you mean a Homestead that you got without buying a full private region first? If so, you'd have to give up the Homestead. (If you mean a full region, you'd still be able to keep it.) Edit: I assume if you have a Homestead now and were to purchase a full region as well before downgrading, then you'd be able to keep the Homestead after downgrading.
  12. They will be returned if you set autoreturn. Otherwise, they should be fine.
  13. What Rowan says is exactly what it sounds like. If the desk has animations, it quite likely has props that rez to go with those animations. You say you have a RP location, which implies that other avatars can enter the parcel and presumably use the furniture. Check the desk's menu (or the creator of the rezzed objects) and you'll probably have your answer. My guess is that some visitors have been playing on your desk.
  14. I always add AVsitter (by Code Violet) and Caroline Planer's experiences to every parcel. There might be others depending on what I rez there, but those two are standard for me. EDIT: Caroline is the creator behind No.59, and I like her stuff a lot. She mixes great drinks 🙂
  15. The good news is that you can play SL without owning any land at all!
  16. This is getting crazy. Yet another waterfall camper lol
  17. I caught a trad on the water there last night, threw it back, caught it again later. Did you give yours up already, or were there two floating around?
  18. Yep, I'm also doing random rolls, and catching and releasing some really nice spots. After getting that waterfall camper I posted above, I rolled this one last night lol
  19. I am just not into the ranch theme, so decided to use my little prorated Premium Plus upgrade to go shopping abandoned parcels. I chose this one
  20. Is it possible a person just randomly rolled and got the home you were hoping for before your ticket was reviewed? I've certainly seen that happen before.
  21. The doors look very Scarlet Creative to me. It's similar to the Maldives beach house.
  22. Nah, I don't play that game. If you aren't willing to share the price in your ad, I don't bother to log on to hunt it down. I figure there's a reason when a seller wants to keep it under wraps.
