"Fake child" (avatars) and adult lands
BilliJo Aldrin replied to Bebe Bunny's topic in General Discussion Forum
Child avatars operated by someone over 18 in RL can go to any sim regardless of maturity rating. However they cannot place themselves in close proximity to adult situations or adult furniture/animations. It is the responsibility of the adult piloting the child avatar to remove themselves from any adult situation. Since (in some people's opinion) child avatars are generally on adult sims to cause trouble, most operators of adult properties just make it easier for everyone by simply not allowing child avatars, and banning them on sight. -
I think the topic goes right to the heart of everything that is wrong in America today. But who cares, we only have 12 years left anyway don't we?

It's simply amazing, congrats. And as others have said, it's a shame LL doesn't allow trusted members to do something like that on abandoned land. I could spend hours and hours terraforming and planting in a "beautify SL" campaign.

I think we should tackle the far more serious problem of white people pretending to be black in order to gain some social, political, or monetary advantage. https://www.vox.com/2015/6/15/8784327/passing-white-black https://www.vox.com/2015/6/16/8791063/rachel-dolezal-naacp-white-black

No. It's not illegal in RL, why should it be illegal in here? Why would you believe anything anyone says in here anyway?

Here is a deal even the flippers won't be able to resist. 2x protected in Kama City, the oldest city on the adult continent of Zindra. Its road front of course, but also beside a green belt which is part of the right of way for the Kama City Monorail system. Walk off you property and a stop is located about 30 m away. Best part is no waiting for the next monorail car. Its an on demand rezz system. You can rezz a car and use it to travel to many many of Kama City's finest regions. This fantastic deal is being offered at only $10 L per sq m. It's a 1584 sq m parcel, 543 prims, offered at the rock bottom, won't last long price of $15,840 L. Drop by and buy it today, because tomorrow a flipper might have it on sale for twice that amount. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Fenfarg/109/13/61

The houseboats kind of remind me of the current modern suburban 512's. And everyone is still clamoring to be cheek by jowl on this new continent?

I beg to disagree. We do not know the gender of the Linden that was referred to, so in this case we must refer to then as she or he, specifically "she or he didn't have the slightest clue what the rules were". It seems to me just saying "they" is so much simpler so much more straighforward AND it conforms to one of the definitions of "they". I don't understand why people wish to substitute difficulty for simplicity when the simpler version is in fact correct. But if it makes you feel better go right ahead and say she or he. -

I had a change of heart and was gonna delete it, but it's too late now. One other thing though, how do you pronounce s/he? I would think it would be "sh he" so to be really correct shouldn't it be sh/he. But if you do that, why not just go all out and type she/he? I wouldn't object to that, because it is at least pronounceable and makes some sense -
