  1. it's growing on the Marketplace "Manage Inventory" page....just keeps growing and growing. I am not doing any kind of edits, I am not adding anything, not deleting anything. I am not touching the Magic boxes and I'm not doing anything to the listings on the MP...it's growing on its own. This is the JIRA for it: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4125 Edited to add: I wonder if this has anything to do with the MP acting slowly?
  2. Brooke, the "same product appearing twice in inventory" issue is escalting for some reason. I updated the info in the JIRA, but it's so wierd: my inventory = 500 checked last nite = 599 checked this am = 618 as of now 11am sl time = 631 Why would it be increasing with time?
  3. Tilly, I just posted in the Marketplace Notes for Sept 15, so if you want to add comments maybe be useful to add to that thread. Also, I created a JIRA here: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4134 Please add comments and vote, and set to watch.
  4. Brooke, there may be some kind of correlation between the deployment and an increase in User Exceptions. I've had 3 in one day whereas normally I get them only every few months or so. In one case, the purchaser tried to buy the item 7 times and all resulted in User Exception. She then went to my inworld store and bought the item, so she did have funds in her account (lack of funds is usually the explanation given for User Exception). Could also be related to a slow working MP and transactions timing out - not sure. There is another thread in the forums regarding this issue here: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Merchants/User-Exception/m-p/1105005/message-uid/1105005#U1105005 And a JIRA is created here: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4134
  5. Lasher, I created a JIRA for this: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4131 Please add comments and vote/watch. Thanks!
  6. Thank you for responding to my post, Tilly. It is worthwhile for us to post in this thread: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Merchants/Marketplace-Release-Notes-September-15-2011/td-p/1103599 to alert Brooke that there may be a connection between the User Exception increase and the new release. I am also going to make a JIRA for it and will post the number there when it is done.
  7. Brooke, the issue of multiple copies of items showing in inventory seems to be morphing: last nite when I logged out, my 500 items were showing as 599. This morning when I logged in there were 618.
  8. Ok, just had my 3rd User Exception of the day and this time the person tried to buy the item 7 times, all User Exception. She finally went to the store inworld and bought the item, so she DOES have the lindens in her account.
  9. I wonder if something is going on. I have had a "User Exception" only rarely if ever, and today I have 2.
  10. Brooke, the JIRA is created here https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4131 I attached a spreadsheet (customer name taken out to respect their privacy), so you can see what I'm getting when I download it.
  11. Thanks Brooke for the update, however, there may be some bugs still... I just tried the “Download Txn CSV” and the spreadsheet is not correct. The information is scattered across columns A-Q with bits and pieces that make no sense in the columns - basically it spread out the product name word by word in each column from "Product ID" on, so that's columns I through Q (in my case). So the next column which is Status has everything from "delivered" to some part of the product name in it (sculpted boot/Fantasy/etc). Every entry has 3 lines (purchaser, merchant, and commerce linden) - kind of makes this report not very "friendly". Not sure how it can be used in the current state. Can't comment yet on the other fixes as I haven't had an order come through to check yet.
  12. Lexi, it is a stale shopping cart issue that has been around since the site launched last year. It is one of the things that the Commerce Team is aware of and is supposed to fix at some point. Any item that is price reduced and placed in a shopping cart during the promotion will stay there and be available to the buyer at the reduced price until they complete the shopping cart transaction. I had a free scarf last October 2010 that I set inactive/invisible since it is a seasonal item on November 1 2010, and I still get orders completing for it. Until this is fixed, my rule of thumb is no price promotions on the Marketplace. I will run them inworld where I can control the start/end dates. Hope that helps.
  13. Thanks Pamela and Darrius, then it is some kind of delay and not a result of the deploy (which is good news). Right now, anything out of the ordinary/norm makes me wonder "is it me?" or something else.
  14. It appears that the no-reply@marketplace.secondlife.com emails with purchase confirmations and information have stopped coming through (at least for purchases from my store). Not sure if it is just a delay or a result of the deploy. To the other Merchants reading this, would you check and see if you are getting the emails as usual? I am hoping I am the only one having the issue and that it is temporary or just a delay.
  15. Khayman, do you mean that your inworld balance is not reflecting sales as they happen? but they are being reflected on the website? I'm not inworld at the moment, so I can't tell. Ummm, that would be more than a small glitch...
  16. The dashboard transaction history shows both MP and inworld. The change is that the only info that accompanies the MP transaction info on your dashboard is "Commerce Linden" and the amount. The details of order number, item number, and name of purchaser are what got deleted in this update. So yes, both MP and inworld are there, just less info that we have been getting for the MP transaction. The fix in the near future is to "re-include" the additional info.
  17. If I understand correctly, the information that we have had on the dashboard transactions regarding the MP transactions will be restored in the next 24 hours or so. So, however you did your record keeping up until today's deploy would continue the same way (if you screen out MP transactions, you still would. I use all the transactions data whether from inworld or MP from my dashboard downloads. I only do the CVS download from the MP every so often). So basically, no change to your current way of working (as I understand it).
  18. Thank you for responding to the concern right away. Very much appreciated.
  19. Brooke, when is that? please, we cannot keep proper records if there is going to be a gap of another week of partial information on the dashboard transactions. Whether these businesses are hobbies or real income for people, they are real money - we need the proper documentation. This isn't something that can wait a week, really, it can't wait a day.
  20. Yes, the Commerce Linden is showing up, but we have lost all of our other information (Description: Order #xyz,Item #xyz(Name of Buyer) Please restore all the necessary info!
  21. Whatever was done to the MP has resulted in transactions being recorded incorrectly on the dashboard now. The information we are supposed to receive is now missing. All we get is: 09/13/2011 11:58:47 555b2570 Source: Commerce Linden MKT2 Item Purchase It's a problem (understatement). I also posted this in Brooke's thread hoping she and the Commerce Team will see it and address asap.

  23. Thank you! That's great news. It really does work like a dream
