  1. There are a couple of JIRAs for this...the one Pamela created and also this one: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-3651 Definitely, set to watch and vote for it. It is something that Merchants need to be able to control on the MP the same way we control it inworld.
  2. Does it also appear grey to your friends? If so, it's possible the designer/merchant used a temporary upload for the texture while they were building and thought they had changed it when finishing the outfit for sale. Sometimes, the temp upload is still there and results in a grey prim to anyone else who sees it after purchase. The Merchant wouldn't even be aware of it because the temp texture can stay in their cache for a while, so when QA'ing the outfit, it probably looked perfect to them (temp textures are supposed to disappear after 24/48 hours or a relog, but I use them all the time and some seem to last forever). If that's the case, then the Merchant is the only one who can fix it for you
  3. Lyra, I haven't experienced that situation as yet. Well, let me say, I haven't had any customers with transaction history/non-delivery issue that doesn't match up with my records in some way, shape, or form (who have contacted me). Of course, if a customer doesn't report it to the Merchant, there's no way for the Merchant to know it's happening if there's nothing in their transactions about it... Dakota/Support is really good at sorting questions like these out. I'm sure she'll help you both.
  4. is that why my listings seem to be growing? they don't remain static...they just keep on growing almost every day
  5. Chelsea, do you have the inventory glitch? I'm still showing double the number of items (duplicates) than I really have (shows 818 and I have 501). The inventory management page also only shows 6 entires when it should show 10 (default). That's the main glitch affecting my store atm (thought it was affecting everyone).
  6. Tishie, there are a number of issues regarding the MP right now. The Commerce Team created a sticky here: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Merchants/Useful-links-for-Merchants/td-p/1159841 with links to release notes and JIRAs. I think you will find that the issues you are experiencing are common across the board due to some glitches that are being worked on (so, no, you probably aren't doing anything wrong). If you discover something that isn't reported already in the JIRAs, create a new one and let the Merchants know here in the forums. Hope that helps.
  7. Hi Charlar, the link doesn't seem to work. I get this message: An Unexpected Error has occurred.
  8. Toy! that's a great model! I never would have thought of that. Thank you for sharing!
  9. lol, Pamela, of course you're right. I never thought of it because the "stale shopping cart" issue still exists (apparently I'm the only one who really is bothered by it). If the price is discounted on the MP, no matter what the price is changed to in the future, if the item is in the cart, the shopper gets that original price due to the cart issue. I guess I equate "discount" with "promotion" with "limited time" -- which doesn't work on the MP. Or, that the Merchant wants to identify a "group" of shoppers who are eligible for the discount and can get it through the MP (a feature that doesn't exist).
  10. That's a wonderful concept, Anakin. Right now, that's a function beyond the capabilities of the MP. So, it's not possible at this time (as far as I know). If it is very important to you and your business model, it would be best to set up a new JIRA for a "new feature" for the MP.
  11. Whatever was done appears to have made the issue worse (in my particular case). Between the Sept 13 deploy and yesterday, missing emails were averaging 25%-30%. As of the "fix" yesterday, they are running at 50%. For other Merchants reading this, If you are affected by this bug, please go to the JIRA to set it to watch. Please add any pertinent comments to it. Thanks! https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4138
  12. Apparently the JIRA https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4138 was closed since Commerce Team Linden thought they had a fix. It is not fixed, the JIRA is reopened. I post here to alert the Merchants who are interested in this issue about it.
  13. Hi Zanara, I wish I saw that same correlation. In my situation, there is still no rhyme or reason to the lost emails. I was working inworld all day yesterday and each time I saw a magic box notification, I went to my email inbox to check to see if the confirmation email came through ~ in about 75% of the cases it did, the other 25% did not. Went to bed, woke up, and this morning, again, the same thing ~ some came through while I was offline and some did not. All I know is that while I understand for some the emails were delayed in the past, I always got them (eventually). Ever since the deploys of Sept 13/15, they are sporadic at best and some never come through. No pattern that I can identify. Not sure what to say other than "misery loves company". I do hope this will be fixed soon because it is now a full month of messed up records.
  14. I see 5 products in your MP store. Perhaps you need to look at your maturity settings?
  15. You're right Sassy, there are select vending systems that can tap into the MP info. Unfortunately, I'm not using them at this time (and many I suspect are not). Easiest thing (well conceptually anyway), would be a redeliver option for shoppers (for copy/no transfer items). It would be helpful now with the Magic box setup, and, even when DD is implemented. Just giving the shopper some measure of control would take so much frustration out of the process. I know it has been discussed before but given the other things that are being worked on, it would seem that it is low on the list of priorities.
  16. ...and, you can't redeliver on your own (need to contact Merchant or LL), and there aren't redelivery stations for the MP inworld. I've had so many people come to my inworld store looking for a redelivery station for the MP. It only adds to their frustration because they just have no control over the situation.
  17. That's a great idea, Pamela! It would be helpful for Merchants, Shoppers and even LL (one place to see all issues related to Delivery problems). Right now, Delivery problem posts are scattered throughout Merchant, General Discussion, and other forums - basically, wherever the poster "thinks" the discussion/question goes.
  18. lol, I think people are waiting to read Brooke's update when it is issued. Not much to comment on until we understand more of what it happening.
  19. Oxmelodiexo, if you purchased a number of items from the MP that failed delivery, contacting each Merchant can certainly take a lot of time (I'm sure they would each want to help you). Another route that you might try is to contact support and send them all the transaction info so that LL can redeliver to you. While the info still needs to be provided, at least it is one contact point rather than many. It may take a day or so, but they've been very responsive. Go to: https://support.secondlife.com/contact-support/ Select Marketplace and Failed Delivery, then enter the info (copy/paste or provide a screenshot as an attachment). Maybe that will help. I do hope you receive your items so you can enjoy them!
  20. Thank you Brooke! Looking forward to learning more from your update.
  21. Yes, Marcus, I was with you and others asking that the deploy of DD wait until after our busy season. Without an update from LL, there's no way to know when DD is being deployed. They are clearly putting the pieces in place, but when they will activate them and how is what we need to know.
  22. Dear Commerce Team/Brooke, the server updates today apparently include DD per Maestro Linden's Deploy notes: " Second Life RC LeTigreLeTigre is getitng a new project this week, with agent inventory service updates. Users of viewer 2.5.1 or above (or those using thirrd party viewers which have merged in 2.5.1 or above) should see a speed increase when fetching inventory. This server version also includes support for Marketplace Direct Delivery, which should improve reliability when buying and selling items on the Marketplace.2011-10-05, 9:00am: Rolling Restart - Release Notes: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_RC_LeTigre/11"Since DD is moving forward on the servers and the Merchants have not been updated on the progress of the BETA, it seems an update to us would be quite timely right now.
  23. Pamela, not sure if this is the email confirmation that you aren't getting or the magic box notification. The issue with email confirmations in the past (for some) was intermittent or delayed. In my case, I always got them and could depend on them for quick customer support and record keeping. Since the deploy of Sept 13/15, the email confirmations have been intermittent, some come thru and some don't - no particular pattern. I still experience this issue whereas I did not experience it before those deploys. There is a JIRA that you can add to if you want: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4138
  24. Josh, you're a sweetheart to offer. It's not something I'm interested in at the moment. But I do appreciate the offer and the good spirit behind it
  25. I've had the random "disappearing" store and yes, my heart stops too! Unless, it's been a system wide issue with the MP, the store reappears in a matter of minutes. Anything longer, and submitting a support ticket is the fastest way to get some help. I use Firefox browser too, and, agree, it's been on the buggy side with all of the updates. lol, bugs in the MP updates, bugs in the browser updates...we need some bug spray As for watching views, my hat's off to you! I just looked at your store and you've got upwards of 200 items, so that's a lot of watching the 10 or so pages of "top selling" items to see what's going on. I've got about 22 pages of data and really the only items I track for views are the new ones which have never sold since they appear on the last page and are easy to find. Once they begin to sell, they get mixed into the rest of the pages and as far as I know, there's no way to download the info, sort it, change number of items on a page, etc. I miss the ability to see the views day to day (used to love that little graph in Xstreet). Maybe someday, the reporting tools for the MP will improve...someday...
