  1. Darrius, I think the common thread is "gifting". After reviewing my failed and partially failed deliveries, the common thread is not the item sent, or the number of items, it is that the item(s) are being sent as gifts. I now have instances of "Gift giver" sending items to "Giftee" --> failed delivery. When that same "Giftee" comes back and repurchases the same items for themselves --> success. I just did it myself: I gifted an item to my store alt --> failed delivery; I sent the same item to myself --> success. This occurance has increased in the month of June. Items with failed/partially failed delivery status are trending at double a normal month and we are only half way through June.
  2. lol! maybe so! As I write this, the same customer who ordered a cart of 5 items (3 mine) and had the transaction fail twice over the weekend is trying to send the items again. I was inworld and watching the box...this particular one has been working all day long until this transaction (meaning this same box has delivered all day). Both the sender and recipient are inworld/online. There is no lag in the sim - I'm at 70+ fps. Simultanteously, other orders are being placed and going thru from different boxes (I actually can see the status change from "queued" to "being delivered" to "delivered". But not this one. The status is currently "being delivered" but it is hanging there for the past 30 minutes or so. I have a feeling it is going to fail again. I'll report back when something happens one way or another. Edited to update: As of 5:33pm slt, the order is still "being delivered" to the customer. As a test, I logged on with my store alt and gifted one of the items to myself. It is also hanging in "being delivered" state - the magic box did not turn green and no item has been received. This box IS delivering all other items in it properly. I am wondering if it is the "gift" part of the equation that is somehow failing. I say this because I logged onto "Arwen", went to another sim, rezzed a new magic box, placed just this line of items in it and sent yet another one to myself. While I stood there, the box never turned "green" as it should (I can only assume the box on the other sim did), because immediately I received the item. I cannot for the life of me figure this out. Update 7:24pm: Both purchases failed. Mine to my store alt (lol, I got a refund on Arwen) and the one that was from a purchaser to another person as a gift.
  3. I just checked and your store is up and running on the Marketplace now. Crossing my fingers that your deliveries start to work!
  4. Don't worry, it's not hijacking - lots of Merchants are experiencing a variety of delivery issues and sharing experiences helps. As far as number of items in a magic box --> 37 items in one box should be fine. For testing purposes, you could always divide them up, but it really shouldn't be necessary. One thing, Yazmine, I just looked for your store in the Marketplace and it doesn't show up when I search your name (perhaps you use a different account/name for your store).
  5. Hi Yazmine, the "delivery partially failed" continues for my store. Had 2 failures last night: 1) Customer tried to buy 3 items in a shopping cart (all from my store and all in different magic boxes, so they would not be cycling through, just delivering one item from each one) - it failed. This morning, she tried again, this time as individual purchases (1 item per shopping cart transaction) and all 3 were successful. 2) Customer tried to buy 1 item from my store in a cart with 3 other items from other Merchants - it failed. They tried again moments later - this time with 1 item from my store and 1 from another store - successful. My magic boxes are in a skybox (not sure of the altitude). I have a total of 375 items on the Market divided into 11 magic boxes. The sim I am on is practically lagless (especially since I am in a skybox and not near any neighbors). Not sure if that's helpful to you. I hope so
  6. Darrius? please don't do that *laughs* (referring to the quote " sounds like good candidates to get swept into the "Stale Item Delisting" being discussed on another thread here.") Those older listings are still many of my best sellers! They aren't "stale" at all!
  7. My old products were migrated over and the prim counts became "0" because in Xstreet I had used the word "various" (text as you indicated Darrius, not a number) in that field (I sell clothing and each piece has a different number of prims - total prim count is rather meaningless since each person wears a different combo of prim pieces). Since the new Marketplace was introduced, I leave that field blank and my listings don't show anything at all for prim count, not even the words "prim count" with a zero or a blank next to it.
  8. I just looked at my various stats for delivery failures vs. delivery partially failed: ~ delivery failures: 5 since the Marketplace opened in Sept 2010 out of thousands of sales, so I'd say that's pretty decent ratio. ~ delivery partially failed: 63 since Sept 2010, scattered over every month (more this past weekend than usual which is why I posted and sent support tickets). In these cases, most of these orders must have had something from another Merchant fail since my items show as delivered. Normally, I hear from a customer immediately if they don't receive something so that I can help with a redelivery (assuming it is available for redelivery). I do find that I am "redelivering" pretty frequently (several times per week) but it may be due to a customer declining the object, crashing when it is being sent, or some other glitch unrelated to magic boxes. I have spoken to 3 of the customers who had "delivery partially failed" from my store this weekend: in every case, the delivery failed and they were refunded the lindens. One had bought 6 things and actually was unaware of the issue until they checked order history; the second went to my store to purchase inworld since the delivery failed; the third was sending birthday gifts so the "moment" was lost and most likely will not reorder. Waiting to hear from the rest that I contacted.
  9. Yup, I've been contacting them all morning. Not new avatars, some date back to 2007. Only spoken to one so far and she did not receive the product and it is unclear if she will reorder so ---> lost revenue. On a side note, when these deliveries fail, they are still counted as "Units Sold" in the Top Selling Reports. So that report is highly inaccurate given the rate of failed deliveries.
  10. Hi All :) I've been watching my delivery status on my items and over the June 11/12 weekend there was a definite increase in "Delivery Partially Failed". My magic boxes are working and have delivered the same items successfully to other customers. In the cases of the failures, the orders were only for my items (not a mixed cart with other Merchant items which often results in that "Delivery Partially Failed" message). Some of the items in the orders were delivered, others failed. In some cases, an order of just one item shows up as "Delivery Partially Failed" which is rather strange since I'm not sure how 1 item can "partially fail". I have left messages for the customers to check but have not yet heard back. I have also filed support tickets for the failed deliveries. Posting here in the forum to see if other Merchants are seeing an increase (or if you've checked) and to give a head's up to the Commerce Team (aside from the support tickets) that something seems to be off (moreso than our usual issues with deliveries).
  11. Hi Chelsea, I'm referring to your normal boxed product - all the prims or items you create are boxed up into one box and that box is placed in the Magic Box for delivery. The customer receives one box, unpacks it, and all the items are deposited in a folder in inventory (I know you know this - just want to be sure I'm being as clear as possible). In this case, that normal box did not deposit all the contents into the folder when openned. The customer reports that 2 items were missing and literally not there, although it is the same item that has delivered hundreds of times with no such error. I checked it and everything is there. I redelivered it and she got everything (still talking about just one delivery box, but this time when she opened it all the contents were there and loaded into inventory). Partial loading of box contents to inventory has happened to me in the past due to lagginess or whatever might be going on, BUT, when I rerez the box and reload to inventory, everything appears. For this customer it did not. Hope that helps to clarify
  12. Yes, it helps for sure to know it does happen to others. My items are all no transfer, so rezzing another box and reloading to inventory should have corrected the issue, but in this case it didn't. I've had this happen to me (personally) when there are lots and lots of items in a box (like building supplies). However, when I rerez the box and reload, I get them all. In this case, the purchased box had very few items inside (only 4 prims, 1 clothing layer, landmark, and notecard). The customer said only 2 prims, clothing layer, landmark, and notecard were inside. They were there in the redelivered box (same box, no change to what was in the Magic Box).
  13. Hi All, I just had my first report from a customer that the box they received from the Marketplace contained only partial contents. I know there was a thread about this previously, but I can't seem to find it. I checked the box in my Magic Box and all the contents were there. I also resent the box from the Marketplace (as opposed to delivering from inworld because I wanted to test) and the consumer reported that the redelivered box did contain everything. Has anyone else seen this recently?
  14. Brooke, if you are reading these posts, it looks like the items in my store are back in the order they were before the deployment. I'm sure other Merchants will chime in once they have had a chance to check theirs. Thank you.
  15. Oh the loser stuff is up there too (although I did manually order some of my best sellers today). Many of the ones I am referring to now were mixed in with the losers as a result of the deployment. I was trying to edit them to add the related items that were missing in some cases (because everything was so scattered around - I was trying to help point people to "like" or similar items). As a result, they have all dropped to the end of the line. Give it a try: find an item that you won't mind having bumped to the back of the line and take note of where it is in the current order before doing an edit on it. Edit it and see if it gets sent to the end of the order. For reference, the only edit I did was to add related items, I didn't edit any text at all.
  16. Brooke, I just discovered something that has never happened before this change was deployed: I was editing some listings to add related items. Prior to the addition/editing, these items appeared at the beginning of my listings when sorted by the "new" relevance. AFTER the edit, they are now dead last. So unless, I go in and manually put them back up front, they are now borked. All I wanted to do was add related info to help consumers shop. Now they will never find them. (Please note, these kinds of edits have never affected my product order prior to this deployment). I can't believe that this was an intended result of this new deployment. So, in response to all those who say "just number the first 20 or so and let relevance take care of the rest" - don't do any editing or the "take care of the rest" will land your items at the back of the line.
  17. Brooke, can this be "rolled back" or "undeployed"? Take some time to make it "optional" and use menus or sorting devices or something that is more helpful to us. And let us know beforehand, not after it is deployed. The manual nature of this is just a no go for someone like me (and others posting here). And it would appear, I am losing sales over it (and LL too for that matter: No sales = No commissions for LL).
  18. Couldn't agree more. ~ The idea of being able to set up the store the way a Merchant wants --> great ~ Giving us the tools to do it --> great, but this only goes so far...the idea of drop down menus (as TriloByte indicates) with options to sort like "newest to oldest" or "most expensive to least expensive" or the true "best selling" based on number of items sold. Then if there is a manual "override" option, wonderful, but making us do it manually? NOT wonderful. ~ Implementing it on us with NO notice, and NO choice --> terrible I have been spending time trying to sort manually to get something that looks halfway right, and it is taking forever. So now, my store looks like a mess, and maybe it is coincidental, but my sales took a dive with this change - a very noticable decline versus my trend.
  19. Brooke, I'm sorry to say, this doesn't work for me at all. Now the sort isn't by relevance, it is totally random, well not random, my worst and oldest sellers are listed at the top (I was wondering why today was such a bad sales day). If I read the post correctly, I have to manually sort almost 400 items by hand? Please say I am misreading that. To be diplomatic: that is a terrible use of time - I'm trying to create, help customers, and actually live some portion of my real life. Now I have to go back and sort 400 items by hand? This is not a fix. Not at all (in my humble opinion). Why can't the everyday sort by relevance just be what's been selling (we are now used to that) and fix the "Best Selling" sort which has been broken?
  20. I think I may have seen that advice also in another thread (from you, Josh?). I didn't do it because I live in a community of skyboxes and really didn't want to be flying around, dragging objects, and potentially disturbing neighbors to get to a sim border. Just wearing them did the trick!
  21. I had the same problem. For over a week there have been 4 lonely little prims that would not delete and everytime I tried to pick them up they created a copy in my inventory but stayed inworld as well. It was different than the ghosted type of prim I've had before - where you can't see it, but you bump into it if you walk around. These were visible but undeletable. Long story short: I tried your advice and "attached" them to my hand and they picked right up from inworld, appeared in my inventory (worn), and then I took them off and deleted them! Thank you!
  22. I'm logged into my dashboard too and can search G/M/A on the Beta. Question: I don't use V2....did traffic numbers bite the dust in V2? or is that something new in the NEW Search Beta? or am I just not seeing them anymore?
  23. Tatiana!! that's a great link thank you so much.
  24. I've got 4 of them dating back for months (April 2011, Jan 2011, Oct 2010, Sept 2010). I posted a topic some time ago asking for a definition of all the various terms, but I never saw a response from the Commerce team, and I could never find one no matter where I looked. I'd still love to know the "official" definitions.
