  1. I agree with Marigold that its possible to have been ghosted and not know it. I have had the timeout message many many times over the years and have always ignored it and kept clicking to login...Maybe because I am not very good at sitting and waiting or following instructions lol So without knowing it I could have forced a login when I had a ghost inworld. If it persisted I would just keep ignoring it and eventually maintainance restarts would have killed the ghost. I also ignore the message that says the grid is offline and you would be surprised how many times that one lets you in eventually too ...I kinda miss that one, we haven`t had the grid offline for a long time. ...hahaha I just totally jinxed that didn`t I.

In the meantime if you have an alt you can login with that and checkout the last few places you remember being in that SL session. Your main account will not be able to "see" your own ghost, but an alt (or friends) could. If they have a good radar, just TP`ing to the right sim you should see your name come up on it if your ghost is there. Once you have located yourself, then you can do the forced login and TP over to kill the ghost (do not try to force a login to the actual sim that the ghost is on).
  3. Hi SKaylor, Is this resolved? If so could you mark the thread as answered so that it drops off of the unanswered list & could help others with the same problem. Thank you

That is true, though I can`t see it being very common for someone to rezz somewhere that they are allowed to build but not allowed to run scripts, I`d rather let people run scripts on my land than rezz their messy prims (though I don`t let them do either hehe)
  5. Have you tried other viewers to check if it is just one particular viewer that it does not like?
  6. I know someone that may be able to help you, I will contact you inworld if thats ok with you
  7. Terraforming abilities vary, depending on what sort of land you have. Most Mainland - You can terraform 4m higher or lower than the default setting for your parcel, set by LL when the sim was created. (some Mainland does not allow terraforming at all, such as the Nautilus sims) - If your mainland plot is "naturally" part of a steep hill it is unlikely that can be made flat. Private Estate land - If you own the sim, you can pretty much do whatever you want, up to 100m higher or lower than the default level you have set for your sim. If you have rented/bought land on a private estate, it is up to the sim owner whether or not they have given permission for you to terraform.
  8. Yep...either the creator or do a ticket...creator is probably faster

  10. Aside from the effects of Lag, which can make just about anything scripted act weird, check if you are wearing other scripted gadgets/HUDS that could be intereferring with your flight assist. Take off all your scripted items and reattch them one by one to see which one if any is being borky....AO & Multitools would be a good place to start
  11. YVW...My next suggestion was gonna be sunglasses hehe ...Glad things are looking better
  12. Is your map broken too? What is wrong with your search? Here is SLurl for Info Island: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Info%20Island/128/128/2
  13. Ouch, that sucks!! I would definately try a ticket in that case, if LL screwed up, they must have the power to fix it. I have never heard of rolling back a sim that has been zapped but I don`t see why it shouldn`t be possible....They could at least pay you compensation if it was their mistake.
  14. I absolutely agree, when I have been involved with deleted sims, I know that LL tells the owner to take anything they want off of the sim because their return cannot be guaranteed. So the owner should have had the decency to deal with it better. Unless of course the owner left LL and failed to pay the tier fee and thats why LL deleted it.
  15. Sucks I know, I think its because they don`t actually go to the sim, they probably just flip a switch on the server and zap!! gone.
  16. If the sim has already been deleted you could be out of luck, LL don`t always clear the sim before zapping them so everything goes into cyberspace
  17. Hard to say from the pic without knowing what those objects are supposed to be. At first glance it looks like someone has gone completely OTT with their glow settings on their build Are you seeing all glow as bad as that or is that location particularly bad? You can mess with your graphics settings to try and find levels that are more bearable, do you have everything maxed out? If you can`t find a way to tame it, you can always switch off Glow, in your debug settings (ctrl alts shift S) paste RenderGlow and set to FALSE

  19. You have indeed Muted yourself, go to Me > Preferences> Privacy > Block list , and unblock yourself It has been happening to a lot of people recently & if you can remember what you typed to trigger it please post it here & solve our ongoing mystery lol
  20. Stilt Rustamova wrote: That did the trick! Thank you very much! YVW, I`ve had same myself, mine were big triangles flying all over the place with different textures on lol
  21. Chocolate Starship wrote: I've cleaned the cache and done fresh reinstalls and no luck. The files I deleted where in the AppData folder, this did nothing to help. The computer is up to date, I had just stopped using SL for that time. Check that your graphics card drivers are the latest version & also try going here http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ and installing the version for "Other Browsers"
  22. Try clearing cache on that computer & even doing a clean reinstall, where you get rid of every old SL file and folder before installing again. If the computer hasn`t been used for a while I would also check that other applications are up to date, such as Java & you may as well check Quicktime & Flashplayer while you are at it, though those 2 shouldn`t really affect this issue, they will stop you getting further problems once you get in SL.
  23. The JIRA is always the place for bugs/issues/suggestions/feedback etc. https://jira.secondlife.com/secure/QuickSearch.jspa If you put Beta 2.5 into the search it will show you all issues posted relating to that viewer and you can add your vote/comments to relevant ones or start your own if its not been mentioned already. If other people are as annoyed by the format as you, they will add their votes to your post and force it to get addressed.

Wish you all a nice weekend! Lichtje Moonsoo Hi Lichtje, Try the suggestions on http://blogs.secondlife.com/thread/55322 If that doesn`t work you need to start your own thread here (by clicking on the "ask a question" box) as you have posted yours on a thread that is already answered and about a completely different problem.
  25. If you have an ATI graphics card, try switching off the VBO (preferences, graphics, hardware options) Otherwise, can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing please
