Are you crossing a sim wall? When you walk or fly across a sim wall (depending on the lag levels) it can take some time for your avatar to be handed over to the new sim and during that time you can appear to walking or flying endlessly. When you do officially arrive on the new sim you could be anywhere on the sim if you hadn`t stopped pressing the arrow keys. Ideally you should stop trying to move your avatar as soon as you cross the sim wall and that way when you do stabilise you should still be standing somewhere near where you started.

Is it just blank to you or to other people as well and do you see other people`s profiles as blank? Have seen some people say that their pics on their profiles keep disappearing but they still show to others.

I can see some uses for it, but its also quite annoying to have half the details hidden when someone is asking about something and adding more info later and we have to keep clicking hidden info to get the whole picture. If it was someone experiencing login problems and several people are answering and asking for computer specs etc it was far easier to see all the relevant info displayed on the thread.

Ahh, that will be why it doesn`t show in search & why the name is blocked from being reused then. Its half processed & as you don`t have the email you can`t activate it either. I don`t know how long they stay pending activation or if the name ever goes back into circulation if it doesn`t get activated, but my guess would be that you need to pick another name unfortunately.

If you go into edit for the item in question you can set it to inactive in there, even if its still in your magic box.

Thats why I suggested saving as a PNG, no messing about with that format, just save as. If you save as a TGA in PS it depends on which version of PS you have, some are fairly straightforward, others you have to manually add the alpha channel before saving as a 32bit tga.

Did you get the email to activate the account?

if you use tga format you need to include an alpha channel when you save it. Its much easier to save as a PNG file.

Strange ..what if you Mute the actual owner instead? Also your message says that its talking on channel 1, how are you hearing that channel? Regular chat is channel 0

You could try right-clicking the object and Muting/Blocking it, if you know what it is that is spamming you.

Seems to be a confusing way to do things, if you are trying to follow the progress of an issue, you have to check all the comments. :smileyindifferent:

I don`t use Imprudence, is that based on 1.23? If so its possible they are off the sides of the screen somewhere. Try changing your screen resolution and/or the UI size and see if you can find them. If not you can always delete your User_Settings (you will find that in the same place your logs get saved on your HD) and that will put things back to default.

They started around mid-November 2010 but I don`t think your theory will work because even now you can still register with 2 names if you use one of the 3rd party registration portals that still have them. I heard that the Teens that came over in the merger with 2 names had their start date back to 0 too.

If you are Premium you could try talking to LiveChat. If not you could add payment info to your account so that you are Account Verified and that also gets you access to adult content. Age Verificiation should really override that but sometimes it doesn`t...no idea why.

VirWox is one. I`ve also seen people mention CrossWorldsxchange and DXExchange, but I have never tried those personally.

Sounds badly written to me. The single name login ID is relatively new and as a result there are still viewers around that require 2 name logins, thats why the "Resident" last name is needed. If you are on a new viewer the name doesn`t show on yoru name tag or friends list, because technically its not part of your name. The new system is to use Display Names if you want 2 names.

28 is a strange number, you have got passed the old 25 limit, did you add the other 3 on that viewer or a different one? The latest LL viewer and latest Phoenix both have 42 as the default, so if you haven`t been able to add any since changing to that viewer it sounds like a bug. If you added the extra 3 and then it won`t add more thats even weirder. Try downloading 2.5 (if you are on 2.6) and seeing if you have the same problem.
