Its possible that some of the other 3rd partys also have spellchecker (I only use Phoenix so I know that does) I think Kristens is more like V2 and if that has spellchecker maybe that is what your friend was getting confused with....Just a thought

AAH!!!...DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!! Deeding land to a group is a change of ownership, so deeding it to your own group is fine, you would basically be giving away your land if you do what you are suggesting. If the tenant stops paying rent and refuses to give back the land, there is NOTHING you can do about it. The only way I would even consider a deal like that would be if the tenant was making you an owner of his group. EDIT: If the tenant is premium can own land, why is he even renting?

The Server/Sim/Scripting Group with Andrew is listed twice in the schedule giving different days and times, both saying it is weekly not bi-weekly...Is it Tuesdays, Fridays or both?

There is one in Phoenix, maybe if there is one in V2 it works the same way, try spelling a word wrong in chat bar and rightclicking it, see if it offers you alternate spellings.

Go to preferences > graphics > hardware options and disable the VBO, that should help with the lightning thing that you get with some ATI graphics cards. Then go to debug settings (ctrl atl shift S) & paste in RenderVolumeLODFactor & set the number higher than 4, mine is set at 8, it depends what your computer can handle. This will help with the sculpties.

Stuff often goes "missing from database" sometimes LL can retrieve it, other times its just gone forever or its something that LL have deliberately removed. Usually when it happens it means that every copy of that item is gone, though the creator may have another copy of it named something different that still exists. I have had a whole building go missing from the database from before. That was fun, especially considering I had sold so many of them lol. The ones that were rezzed were ok, but no one could rezz another copy of it. After spending the best part of a day with a Linden Tech it was finally brought back from nowhere land. Whether your body part is a temporary glitch or has really gone off the database for some reason, I doubt your copy is the only one missing. Contact LL if the creator isn`t answering & see if they can look into it for you without you having to be the object creator.

Interesting, back in the day, you always used to have the SL balance from when you first you logged into the Beta grid, plus a basic default amount...Can`t remember how much it was, something like 5000L, in case your balance was 0L I just logged my alt in there for the first time (she always has 0L cos I don`t trust her with money lol) and you are correct she has 0L in there too. I doubled checled with my main account and she still has the balance she had when she first went in there (nothing like her current balance). I wonder when they stopped giving the default amount? Unless thats a bug.

There are several shops that sell excellent non-white skins sometimes using search it helps to use very specific keywords such as African Skins or Indian Skins etc but there are definately good ones out there. EDIT: I just searched the Marketplace for "Ethnic Skins" and there are several nice looking results there too.

What if you used one of the other viewers that supports Display names, such as Phoenix and I think Kristens does too, login on one of those, change your display name in the edit menu & make whatever changes you want to profile pic and bios and presumably that will carry forward onto the 2.5 viewer when you login there.

What happens if you do just one change at a time? So that you can find the one that it is rejecting.

I don`t use 2.5 so sorry I can`t answer most of your question but as far as the character counts go, I checked the ones on your profile at the moment and they are 507 and 254...Try removing 7 from the first one and see if it accepts it then.

It is possible for LL to restore the sim for 24 hours and allow you access to get your things, so you need to submit a ticket, here is a recent successful case to give you some hope http://blogs.secondlife.com/thread/56895

haha Nyll, no gnashing here, glad you are fixed Shelby When you said you could only get in on 1.23 it rang a bell with another thread last week that was finally fixed with the HTTP thing for the same issue, you should be able to get in any viewer by disabling that (until LL fixes things properly)...Even Phoenix hehe

Try switching off HTTP GetTextures in Advanced >> Rendering.
