  1. WOW that rocks!!...Great result, thanks for letting us know, its nice to hear that sometimes there IS hope when sucky things happen
  2. That actually wasn`t a meaningless answer...It DID used to show in search and now its doesn`t. Why LL took it out, I have no idea but its possible that it was to stop spammers from looking for the biggest groups and joining them to spam.
  3. Get LL to bring back the old search where it used to tell you how many members were in the groups
  4. Woots thats great news...Glad it wasn`t your age that was causing the problem afterall...Went off on the wrong tangent there for a minute but got the right answer in the end
  5. OK try this, first switch off HTTP GetTextures it depends which viewer you are on where you will find that. I believe on V2 it is the developers menu, on V1 it is in advanced > rendering. Then clear your cache & restart your viewer.
  6. You have a Ghost inworld preventing you from logging in and showing you as already being online. Go to the login screen and set your start location to "Smith". Then keep trying to login, ignoring the error message each time it comes up. Your Ghost will refresh approx once every 15 mins & you need to hit that gap to get in. Once you are in, TP to the last couple of locations that you were at before your last logout/crash & you should be able re-merge with your Ghost. 7. Ahhh....You are still under 18, are you allowed to be nekkid?
  8. Have you tried right clicking yourself and removing everything that way? Can you post a pic? Are you wearing Velcro underpants? hehe EDIT: Try this: Create a folder, name it something easy to find so you can always keep it in your inventory for future use, like Normal Me or whatever. Put a copy of your usual basic components in there...Skin, shape, eyes, hair (including bald base), huds etc and a basic shirt and pair of pants. Right click on the folder and select REPLACE
  9. You can do that on the latest viewers, you can wear multiples of the same layer, but there is still a limit to the total number of clothing items you can wear. The same is true of attachments, you can only wear 38 but you could wear all 38 on your skull if you want to. Thats why I suggested removing ALL your clothing and starting over.
  10. You might be slightly confused about how the "restrictions" you referred to actually work. It is not that you cannot remove underwear it is that the underwear is part of the skin (painted on to it) and the skins on new residents in the main grid are the same way now. You can simply change the skin to get rid of the underwear, you just couldn`t get naked skins on the teen grid so they could not do that. If you remove all your avatars clothing, put on a naked skin & then add whatever clothing layers you want after that, you shouldn`t have any problems.
  11. Several Linden homes have had problems with scripts since the last maintainance update, you are not alone. As a temporary fix, go to About Land (Options Tab) and switch scripts to run for All Residents. This should fix the doors and some of the control panel issues. LL is aware of the problem and a fix is being worked on. You can always go to LiveChat for further advice or fixes for any other issues you find with your Linden Home

  13. Some of the Linden homes have had a problem with scripts since the last maintainance update. First check that you are at the right house, the name of the parcel at the top of your screen will be "Kiszkas Place" or something like that. As a temporary fix for the script problem, go to About Land (options tab) and set scripts to be allowed to run for All Residents. This should get your door and control panel working, though there may still be some issues with the control panel connecting to the website. You can contact LiveChat for any problems with your home or for more info on how far they have got with fixing things.
  14. Yes new computers can need updating, but as you will see from that other thread, the answer here may be to actually roll back drivers to an even older version not the latest ones, as the newest ones seem to have issues.

  18. Ashly Leider wrote: So does that mean I will always be on the Release Candidate version or when the current Magnum server is realeased to the main grid so will my piece of land? The sim will stay as an RC (though I assume the sim owner can request that it be taken off if he/she wants to) there are always new things to test before going grid-wide, so it is an ongoing thing with the RC sims. I have a friend with a sim on Magnum too & I can`t say I have noticed his sim being any more laggy than usual. Its possible the lag you are getting is not related specifically to the RC status & could be more to do with either the sim content or the content of the sims that are sharing the same server.
  19. Hola Risto, Si marca este hilo que respondió que caerá de la lista sin respuesta y posiblemente ayudar a otros con el mismo problema. Gracias
  20. Mine pings at 180-200 like Nylls with 0% packet loss. Your 300 does seem high and SL is very sensitive to Packet Loss (according to a convo I had with LiveChat last year). Are you getting any Packet Loss?
  21. Casiana Gant wrote: Problem solved! So this is what i did... i entered with an alt and found myself. It was a private property and restricted area. I was flying and flying up and didn't stop. So...i remembered the exact spot, logged out and tried to login with my main avi, the one with the problem. I logged on an empty land under water (protected land) after 30 times of trying or more, i didn't count, and went with my avi to meet myself. When i reached close by, my ghost vanished. Thank you again for all your information! Perfect!! That is exactly how to do it & even though it can be a tedious trying to force a login, it can be quicker in the long run than waiting to get a sim restarted..
  22. I`m liking the PSU theory, it would also explain why you managed to stay connected on Radegast as without the graphics that would be using far less power. I recently had all sorts of problems with my computer, none of which made any sense and when it finally had to go to puter hospital it turned out to be a faulty PSU, I was amazed at the weird things that it affected, I had assumed if the PSU was faulty the computer just wouldn`t work...Live and learn eh lol On the brightside if yours does turn out to be the PSU, they are cheap to replace
