Might help with a few things, including your music streaming problem...Like I said whats good for one person may not be good for another as no 2 people will have the exact same set up and circumstances, so you need to find the best settings levels that work for you. I would reduce Bandwidth to 1000 to start with and see what differences you notice over the next day as you do your usual things and if it worse than today think about changing it again...I thnk the default setting is only 500.

First check that you are wearing your Facelight, then Go to Debug Settings (from advanced menu - Ctrl Alt D to show Advanced menu) Paste in rendershaderLightingMaxLevel & set to 3 if its not already. Then go to preferences, graphics tab, advanced & toggle "Atmospheric Shaders" off and on. That should get local lights to work.

Setting up a web survey is fairly easy using sites like SurveyMonkey, the hard part is getting people to go and fill it in. It would depend on the type of survey and your target market where the best place would be to try to advertise it. You could always set it up and then post it over on the forum asking for volunteers to fill it in, if its a good cause people are usually pretty helpful.

Try rightclicking on one of your folders in "My Outfits" and selecting Replace Outfit. If that doesn`t work, try one of the following: Create a folder, name it something easy to find so you can always keep it in your inventory for future use, like Normal Me or whatever. Put a copy of your usual basic components in there...Skin, shape, eyes, hair (including bald base) & a basic shirt and pair of pants. Right click on the folder and select REPLACE or Reset your avvie to default, depending which viewer you are using this is done here: Advanced Menu >>Character>>Character Tests >> Test Male (or Female) or Developers Menu (ctrl alt Q)>>Avatar>>Character Tests>>Test Male (or Female)

Other Macbook users have reported the same thing, they seem to be ok on other veiwers though or earlier versions of v2. See if 2.4 works for you, you can download it from http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Supported_Viewers

The system requirements page regarding windows 7 is (STILL) not updated, both 64bit and 32bit are compatible so its not that. I don`t know what a switchable graphics card is but I vote for the 2nd one named there.

Last names are still valid in SL, some people use the portals because they actually prefer to get one of the oldstyle names instead of having the default "Resident" last name & its good to have the option if the main registration isn`t working for you

Should be in your preferences, on Phoenix its on the Network Tab, hopefully LL didn`t rename that as well in V2 lol, but it will be there somewhere with a slider control that you can adjust it with. As with the other options adjust it, look for increases or decreases in performance in different scenarios and then tweak it more or less, you will eventually tune everything to suit your computer.

You can always use Alt Cam....Hold down the Alt key, click (and hold) somewhere and scroll around with your mouse. It takes a bit of getting used to if you haven`t used it before, but you can scroll to zoom too and its a very good way of looking around.

You need to either be Account Verified or Age Verified. Acount Verified = Payment Info on your account (if you are outside of the US you will need to actually buy the minimum amount of Lindens to get payment info onto your account) Once you are Account Verified you will have access to all adult areas except those that the owner has specifically set Age Verification as a requirement.

Is the sim divided into separate parcels? Its possible that you just walked out of the one where the stream was playing & onto one that has no music playing.

"Aventura y V" = no results LOL "Viajes" = my goup is the first result. Google search is misterious I meant in your group description hehe...In group info where you fill in the group charter, put the name of the group in there. You don`t have the word Aventura in there (just Aventuras) and the 2 top listed groups have Aventura in their group name AND their group charter. I don`t know how fast it updates so you can see if it makes a difference, ALL search can take a day to update changes.

If you cam up into the sky so that all you have on your screen is blue sky, your FPS should shoot up drastically. When you move your camera, the more graphics that you start to get in your view, the more it drops, depending on how good your system is, there is a limit to how much info you can have in your view before your framerate gets so bad that you cant` move. The best way to optimize it for your own personal computer is to set your graphics to low, especially your draw distance & gradually increase how much stuff you put in your view and how high you can tweak things in your graphics until you find the place where it works best for you. If you have consistantly low FPS, keep your draw distance low as much as possible so that you are not adding stuff from the other side of the sim that you aren`t even looking at & if you go to place with lots of avatars, switch on "avatar imposters" and lower the graphics setting for avatar detail so that you are not trying to see every detail of 20+ avatars. You can also play around with the bandwidth setting.

I think I read somewhere that that has been removed as an option on the latest viewers but is enabled by default.
