HI Lexie, Yeah I updated mine again with the same name, but it gets a new URL or forum ID or whatever its called, so it isn`t technically the same image as far as the system is concerned. WTG for finding out the cause though, as mine was a smiley that I used quite a lot, there is a good chance it had been in one or more posts that got removed, so that makes sense. Does it mean more can get broken now until Lithium comes up with a fix?

Try logging into a different location. If that doesn`t work, check your connection, reboot & reset your router. You can also get that error message if you have an active group tag that has unusual characters in it & if that is the problem it is harder to fix. Depending whose group it is, you can login with an alt and try to get your tag fixed or get you kicked out of the group, but if you can`t fix it yourself, you will need to contact LL to do it for you.

Its based on a combination of number of visitors and length of their stay.

Check your preferences, you will find that you probably have a proxy enabled and not specified, just uncheck the box.

Its usually just a server issue, always check the grid status report to make sure its not a grid wide issue & if its not then try on another sim. If that works ok (which it usually does) get the other sim restarted. http://status.secondlifegrid.net/

Which viewer are you using?

Sculpty or Mesh? If it is really a sculpty that you mean, you just need to upload the UV map as a texture and add it to a sculpted prim inworld.

Did you try relogging?

If you search your AppData for folders called secondlife, snowglobe or phoenix and remove them all, that should clear up any conflicts you are having between viewers.

The whole grid will be mesh enabled around the end of the month so not long to wait even if you do nothing.

Until recently you would have been sent an activation email for each one. If you keep old emails you might still have them.

Try selecting another house, if it lets you then you don`t already have one. If you do have one it will tell you where it is instead of showing you a selection to choose from.

If you did not set your home location to your home, you can try using search for the name of the school. Or contact the owner & look on her PICKS if she is not online. Or if you had to a group for the school, go to Group Info & look on the Land tab. If the land is there you can TP to it from that page.

There are also some viewers that do not have sidebars, but if you are on the official LL viewer then I agree with Bee that you are mostly likely in Basic mode.
