I am still thinking the database may have errors in the 14xxxxx series of numbers. ETA : you put a number of the borked listing into SLM search like 1418428 then view it as a wrong listing then change that number to 1418429, 430,431 etc etc you can see all those series are borked. /me Points to error;) OMG Bootgasm is a cluster in the 14xxxxx series. Yep, checks out on my store as well. The 3 borked items were the same type of item (welcome mats) which in and of itself likely means nothing...BUT...all 3 are in the 1417xxx range. I concur wholeheartedly with Pamela....EXCELLENT DETECTIVE WORK!!!!!
  2. Sassy Romano wrote: Yes, specifically this post http://www.sluniverse.com/php/vb/general-sl-discussion/71038-direct-delivery-update-complete-disaster-3.html#post1525023 Woot!!! Thank you sooo much for that link!
  3. Kenbro Utu wrote: Based on your wording, I get the idea we are all going to have to file individual tickets to get our listing repaired. Is this is feeling you get? I was wondering that myself. Thus far from just these forums we know that both Pearl and I filed tickets about our listings, were then contacted by Brooke Linden and asked to submit another ticket re: a specific issue (unable to delist or delete listings on our MP store). This morning I received the email from Dakota and checked my listings to discover that the one borked one was back to normal - as well as the still borked one. While I can't say what is happening behind the scenes, I can only state what my experience has been, which is why I keep updating.
  4. Arwen Serpente wrote: My store had 400 items to migrate..they are in boxes. I prefer to receive my purchases in boxes so I always have a backup. I also prefer them to keep my inventory to a managable size. I'll see how it goes in the future with regard to listing folders in the future. Ditto for me, both for backup and keeping inventory more manageable. All of us had to learn how to unbox items at some point when we began SL and probably many of us wore boxes on our hands before we learned. (My first two days in SL had me wearing a very unusual hat - an Alpine Lodge! I finally ran into someone who advised me on how to remove it. It did provide an interesting bit of RP, though. I was still wearing my new, errrr, chapeau when I was invited by a friend to a RP sim. I arrived to find my friend conversing with another person to whom he wished to introduce me. Without blinking an eye, the second person said, "That is a most unusual hat, M'Lady. Is that the tradition where you come from?" It made a most embarrassing situation more lighthearted.) Although I do acknowledge that some products, clothing comes to mind, may be more convenient to receive in a folder, as has already been noted, other products are more amenable to being boxed. I can't believe that newcomers to SL can't learn about boxes as we did.
  5. Sassy Romano wrote: No but at present there's no ability to activate a send to marketplace function. Kadah Coba has said it will be added though on an SLU post. Not there yet. So, if I'm understanding you correctly, there is the possibility of DD being functional at some point on Phoenix? I would be absolutely thrilled, but don't want to get my hopes up. Thank you for the info, Sassy.
  6. Update: I did receive an email from Dakota Linden today based on the ticket submission requested by Brook Linden. He said that he and the Dev team were doing some additional testing and working to resolve the listing that is still showing another merchant's link but which I cannot change. He also said: "Linden Lab is also addressing the issue with the improperly handled support cases regarding Marketplace Issues." and apologized for my incorrectly handled support ticket. Checked my MP store and the one listing in question has now been restored to its correct state. At present the incorrect listing is still there, but I do consider this progress.
  7. I use the Phoenix viewer, v 1185. Tried to upgrade to the new Phoenix release, but it also necessitates a PC with SEE2 capability. Anyway, I was browsing through my inventory today and discovered a Merchant Outbox folder! I was under the impression this folder would not even show up in the older viewers. Did something recently change? I'm not about to try loading anything into it, but I found this very curious.
  8. Josh Susanto wrote: Nope. I'm doing just great. But, then again, I've been acting totally paranoid for 8 months, right? I stand corrected. "Many of us are in the proverbial same boat." No idea, I've only been reading your posts for the last week and a half.
  9. Couldbe Yue wrote: btw - I've just had a look at one of my other shops and I have a listing is supposedly listed yet when I click on it, it takes me to the default marketplace page. so it's not actually listed although it says it is. so I suspect it's floating around on someone elses homepage - c'est la vie. The borked listing I have that does exactly that (defaults to the MP home page when clicked) is linked to someone who, when searching for the name in Merchant Name Search brings up a blank MP page, and does not show up in People Search. It's linked to a ghost!!!
  10. Pearl Vollmar wrote: Czari, I opened tickets too and got answers from Dakota who clearly didn't know Brooke had asked me to open those tickets. My ticket has been closed with the same text you got, that they had offered a solution to the case and it was closed. That's why I suggested you contacted Brooke directly. Opening those tickets only cost me energy. Sorry to hear you went through the same experience :-( I'm so glad you did recommend that I contact Brooke before I submitted my ticket. Sounds like the initial responses we received are some type of canned comments to close the ticket. I'm sorry you got the same responses as well, Pearl. I think all of us are in the proverbial same boat at the moment.
  11. I just received an in-world IM to email from Brooke thanking me, as I understood it, for filing the ticket as she asked. I don't know who these Scouts are but they do seem somehow out of the larger loop - at least concerning this issue.
  12. Considering my borked listings, them becoming further borked when I did what I was advised by CTL, I am doing nothing re: the Markeplace with respect to posting new items, updating, etc.
  13. Sapphy Rotaru wrote: If this doesnt prove that they dont actually read anything properly then I dont know what does! Absolutely unbelievable!!! Oh it gets more unbelievable! I reopened the ticket (keep in mind it was Brooke who sent a notecard to me requesting I open another ticket re: the listings I cannot remove manually. Thus I reopened the closed ticket from AnjaB Scout and included the following: AnjaB Scout, I was asked by Brooke Linden to submit a ticket concerning the current mess of mixed up Marketplace listings; specifically the ones I had that I cannot manually delete or make inactive because the system "sees" them as belonging to another merchant. This issue has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with in-world ARs and sending this to me with obviously no grasp on a situation that is affecting an indeterminate number of merchants AND customers frankly is insulting. I request that Brooke, Dakota, or another Linden who is aware of this situation address this. Czari Zenovka So I get my ticket closed...again...with this response: Case: 01379655 Avatar: Czari Zenovka Type: General Marketplace Issues New Status: Waiting for Customer Acceptance Three days ago, we provided a resolution for your issue. The case has not been re-opened, so we are changing the issue's status to closed. To re-open this case, either Reply to this email, or visit: https://secondlife.com/my/support/?caseID=01379655 I have been as patient as possible with this issue, have co-operated fully with everything I was instructed to do by CTL in this thread (which resulted in now having 2 listings for the same item - one correct/one borked) as well as submit a second ticket per Brooke. I will wait until tomorrow when the Lindens arrive back at work. If I do not get "another" apology re: this latest slap in the face, I think it's time for me to remove my items from the MP, advise my customers to shop in world and be done with it. I, nor none of us created this issue and, as I can see the total disregard (edit to add: some employees of LL) have for us, their customers, I want no further business dealings with them. (Edit to add: Upon taking a nap and a bit of reflection I wanted to add that my dealings with at least two employees of LL has been positive re: the handling of my ticket submissions, therefore my comment of having no further business dealings with LL as a whole was my first knee-jerk reaction after the frustration of receiving the responses this morning. I shall continue to watch and wait how this all plays out.) EDIT TO ADD: I just noticed that no one "signed" this communication. My email From is: "Linden Lab Support" <support@secondlife.com>
  14. Pearl Vollmar wrote: Wow Angel! that dress for 50L is really bargain! Sorry, I couldn't resist the joke. And before you think I'm laughing because I haven't been hit by this mess, I HAVE. Trying to laugh so i won't cry lol I have to tell this because it's another of those laughing so I won't cry issues: On one of my borked listings my welcome mat image has the description "Hopeless romantic seeking filthy wh0re." (Not sure what words are unacceptable here.) To make things worse, apparently the link back to the merchant listed no longer has any MP listings and does not show up on People Search so I can't get rid of it. Anyway...I was relating this to a good friend and she was asking if someone tried to purchase the borked item what would they receive and said (in jest), "I mean if I was buying a filthy wh0re and received a two-bit welcome mat I'd be upset." May have to replace my monitor from the Pepsi that got spewed on it when she said that! Another one that had me bursting out laughing was a borked image from the jira. The image was of a very busty female AV wearing some huge sombrero-looking hat. The description was "Demon Starter Kit." This is a LL fubar of epic proportions and I'm about at zero patience level, but I have to admit some of the wrong links are hilarious.
  15. Dragonlady Boa wrote: is there a jira for Ll screwing the magic boxes over? because mine quit working, and now almost HALF of my invengtory is lsited as unavailable! Well, as requested by Brooke Linden I submitted a second ticket about the same issue I was already having. Ok, did that. I just received an email from one of the "Scouts" tellling me to file an Abuse Report in-world. Maybe that's our answer...lol. Filing in-world ARs against CTL. GAH!!!!! Also, I contacted a merchant who I know does not read the forums to let her know about this mess. She said all her listings are also unavailable. She migrated to DD shortly after it went live.
  16. Thank you for the pillow, Darrius. I did get a rather nasty bruise on my forehead in addition to a MAJOR HEADACHE!!!! *Wonders if scream therapy would help*
  17. Thanks for posting that, Dartagan. Very interesting story. I pretty much figured logs might be read, but yeah...what privacy?
  18. So this is the reply I received from my in-depth ticket I was instructed by Brooke Linden to file: A comment has been added to your Case.. Case: 01382016 Avatar: Czari Zenovka Type: General Marketplace Issues Status: Waiting for Customer Acceptance Dear Czari Zenovka Thank you for contacting Linden Lab Support. Kind regards AnjaB Scout Linden Lab Support Ummmmmm...file an in-world ABUSE REPORT?????? *Bangs head on desk* Abuse of LL to me??? Abuse of the entire LL Marketplace to an indeterminate number of merchants?
  19. Bumping back up so other merchants who do not yet know about this issue may read the thread.
  20. Josh Susanto wrote: >Even taking them offline doesn't work. Does the borked market store just stay open, forever, pumping money into some place that LL won't admit even exists? In my case, and likely many others, even if I took out all my products from the MP, there are two listings that do not even show up in my edit list because they "belong" (even though my product image is in them) to other merchants, one who it appears is no longer in SL AND does not even *have* a MP store; the second merchant states in her profile she is not in SL much anymore. Thus I would still have an "open" MP store with two items that I can't delete.
  21. Marcus Hancroft wrote: Go to the Jira's that Miss Sassy linked above and watch and vote for them. Now, imagine how many merchants there are out there who don't read these forums and have no idea their marketplace stores are destroyed! I went to the MP store of a merchant who appears as the seller of one of my items. While browsing through (approximately 66 pages) listings, I could see at a glance that many of her items also had borked listings. I sent an IM followed up with more info on a notecard to let her know what was happening. While reading her profile it had nothing in it re: her store. She also said she was not in SL much anymore. Oy! I think for each of us who knows about this mess, there are many, many more merchants who do not. Will be interesting to see how long it takes or if I get a response from the merchant.
  22. To continue documenting my experience with this issue, the following is the info I attached to a new ticket I created per a notecard received from Brooke Linden: 1. Markeplace listing: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/13510?search[maturity][]=General&search[maturity][]=Moderate&search[maturity][]=Adult&search =3&search[per_page]=12&search[store_id]=13510Top row/right column a. Product Item Image - Victorian Hearts Welcome Mat - Correct/Czari’s Attic b. Product Description - Incorrect - linked to creator <name> c. Problem - Wrong creator listed on my product as well as X-rated description on G-rated item d. Attempts Made to Correct - In edit mode the following image was displayed: I deleted this image, uploaded the correct image, made sure everything else on listing was correct, then saved update and refreshed. At the time nothing changed. The next morning my store now shows two listings for this item, the correct one and the wrong one as noted above. Also used Search Merchant for <name>. A blank MP screen is displayed. Used People Search in-world. No profile. Incorrect listing now not showing in my Edit Listings, thus I cannot do anything on my end to remove this incorrect listing. 2. Marketplace Listing: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/13510?search[maturity][]=General&search[maturity][]=Moderate&search[maturity][]=Adult&search =3&search[per_page]=12&search[store_id]=13510Second Row/Last Column a. Product Item Image - Love Hearts Welcome Mat - Correct/Czari’s Attic b. Product Description - Incorrect - linked to creator <name> c. Product Price - Incorrect d. Problem - Wrong creator, description, and price listed in my store with correct product image e. Attempts Made to Correct - In edit mode/preview everything displayed correctly. Deleted and reuploaded my image in a trouble-shooting attempt. Saved update, refreshed. f. Current issue - My Marketplace store still shows incorrect creator, description, and price attached to my image. g. Further troubleshooting attempts - Clicking on this item displays the following: Went to the Marketplace store of <name>. Noticed many of her listings are also incorrect - mixed up images, different creators, etc. Used search to find “Dark Red Eyes” - displays the following image: Here we see an image for “Dark Red Eyes” from <name> store, but the description is of a different item as well as yet another creator, thus the erroneous linking is not back to me but in a seemingly endless daisy chain. Conclusion: As I have done my best to troubleshoot my situation, per CTL instructions posted on this forum thread: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Merchants/ATTENTION-Listings-on-the-Marketplace-are-borked-Everyone-check/td-p/1457545/page/14 And this jira: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4587? I respectfully request that LL make the necessary corrections to my current Marketplace listings. Czari Zenovka ###### Per Pearl's suggestion, I sent a notecard to Brooke to let her know my ticket was submitted and asked to keep communication with her open via IM until this is resolved.
  23. Toysoldier Thor wrote: LOL Couldbe... that was my thoughts when I first read a Commerce Team posting on the weekend. There was no real content in the posting - as per ususal - so it seemed to me it was just to show that they ware working on the weekend. Or it's a bot that's scripted to periodically post the same message. Just saying....
  24. I have never purchased any listing enhancements and 3 of my listings are borked. Well 2 now; the third one poofed into the ozone.
