  1. Thanks for the info, Immy....I checked and didn't see it listed any longer, that would be why. You're definitely in the know :smileytongue: :smileywink:
  2. It was there at Truth Hair just a few days ago...not inworld at the moment to give you a LM. I believe it is one for the disaster in Japan. Will get back to you with a landmark if someone doesn't beat me to it :smileytongue:
  3. Dresden Ceriano wrote: So I logged in today and much to my surprise, I'd actually gotten a private message. My first thought was... hey someone sent me a private message... then I the thought occurred to me... ooooo, this could be one of those spam PMs and I will finally be showered with the adoration I so desperately crave. I NEED VALIDATION!!! Imagine my disappointment when I opened it and realized it was just Representative Linden informing me of my new "Member" rank... I was completely crushed. ...Dres (Though, I guess it's better to have a member rank than a rank member) Yea...I too got promoted :smileytongue: Not sure what I did to deserve it, but thankfully, it took away that dreadful orange pin :smileysurprised: :smileywink:

  5. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong...I dropped the script in the contents. I want the shutter to open out, but instead, it opens all askew, sideways kind of. Any info to help me? Also, I want a script where once the shutters are open, they stay open...is there a way to change the timing on this basic script or should I be shopping for a certain wording that allows this to happen? Sorry...complete novice here when dealing or working with scripts...plain english please. :smileysurprised: :smileytongue: ETA: Thanks to both of you, Rolig & Monti...will get back inworld tonight and try another one. Lol, never thought of something being wrong with the script itself :) Thanks for the tip on the timing feature, Monti.
  6. Wow...intreresting idea! I don't believe I have seen or heard anything about funerals in SL.
  7. Just what we need :smileytongue: Welcome...:smileywink:
  8. squashy Beeswing wrote: That's good to hear. Her old store was kind of... sprawling... hard to navigate. :smileytongue: Hi Squashy, just to clarify...I got the names of two different stores mixed up when I posted the original reply. I'm not sure about Simone's store...it was another one that I had read about. I do agree about her store though, it was confusing and hard to navigate and if I remember, different sections in different buildings/sims :smileysurprised:
  9. I'm almost sure that I read somewhere in the last few days, that she is redesigning the store...she must be making a move, but sounded like she'd be back up and running soon :smileyhappy: ETA: Oooops, my bad...the reference I was referring to was for "So Many Styles" :smileysad: Sorry!

True, but she probably wouldn't have been able to figure out how to retrieve the answers...that section is a wreck, IMO :smileysad: No one gets "points" for answering questions here but I do agree, the Answers section is not exactly new resident friendly. I would prefer people ask where ever they feel is appropriate rather than not asking at all. Yes, Rhonda...agree totally. I remember when I first came into SL and everything was so new and confusing. When this forum went live, I went to answers to ask a question and had a heck of a time making sense of the format...can only guess what the new people think

  12. I second Kelli's suggestion of going incognito if the attention you get from your av is negative...vampires do carry a stigma of sorts, sadly. Welcome to the forums and good luck
  13. SyndraJade wrote: This seems to be a specific animation override..you know exacly what it's called? Specific to that motion. A lot of places have those movement ones that vary...try Vista Animations, they seem to have a big selection Whichever place you end up, you will have to get up on the demo pad and it will cycle through the different anims, showing you what each one does...good luck and have fun.
  14. Ian Undercroft wrote: Sorry to hear about your stalker, Kylie. It's perhaps sensible to "create" pics at a public location (such as an infohub or whatever) and then change the picture and the text. This way no stalker will find his/her way to your home or favourite hang out. Actually, he really wasn't a stalker in the normal sense...he just knew that it royally p*ssed off my partner at the time, knew it pushed his buttons and riled him up. It kept things interesting for this person, I'm sure :smileyindifferent:
  15. Yes, this is what happened to me. I've been here almost four years now and in the beginning, I had all of that filled out plus pics, etc...until some PITA kept pestering, following, showing up. Became a real nuisance. Someone had mentioned that they could pick up a lot of detail from what I wrote, where the pics were taken and so forth. I emptied my profile then...these type of people kind of take the fun out of everything
  16. LOL...the carrot is sooooo cute!!! Will have to go through my wardrobe and see what I can come up with

I have never been caged, or shot, or hurled into the sky, unless I am in a sim that I went to intentionaly, knowing they featured that kind of play. What am I doing wrong? I keep hearing tales of grief and bullies, but I have yet to find it on my own. ^ This ^

  20. Good idea and worth a try, although I'm sure it will be awhile before I hear anything. Thanks, Peewee for the replies and suggestion
  21. I did suggest to one poster with a similar situation to yours, that she take a pic of her stuff in her inventory on the Beta grid, (with the folder open so the techs can see object names) & attaching it to a ticket for "Technical issues". Anything is worth a try.
  22. Yes, it was finished loading...I am so disappointed to end up with even less. Hopefully, will come back in a few days. I did read that post about some not being hers...maybe she has mine Go figure....
