In this day and age of phishing, fraud, identity theft, etc...I think it's horrible that we can't get a definitive answer on this from Linden Lab. A simple answer of yes or no, is this company acting in your interests? jeez....:matte-motes-agape:

This happened to me a couple of days ago...I tried everything to recover, cleared cache, relogged into Smith to reload my inventory, logged into the beta grid to let it load there...it never came back. Didn't even try to file a ticket, just went and repurchased

Lag...it happens all the time. The last few days have been brutal to me with V2

They could be listed amongst your regular folders in your main inventory page, or in the folder labeled "objects" If you remember the name of the item, you can type that in the top of your inventory window and it will bring it up and the location
