If this isn't good enough for them, what makes you think they will abide even if offically stated by LL in other medium besides the ToS? Instigators...just walk away and don't trouble yourself about it
  2. hmmm...good thought about them being modifiable Thanks
  3. oops...misunderstanding, I have the hairbases, but was wondering why the hairpieces themselves, only come in black sold by LAQ
  4. Valerie, please, a short derail...I know you like Laq hair, but do you know the reason why the hairbase skin hairs (specifically Kira & Tasha) only come in black? I love them, but want to stay a lighter brunette...am I missing something? Thanks for any info you might have...I've sent an email on their website, but will probably be awhile before I receive an answer.

That's another discusstion.... It some parts of northern England (where I'm originally from) lunch is also called dinner and dinner is called tea. It hurt my poor wee brain when I moved south and had to get used to calling them 'lunch' and 'dinner'! Suella...wow, could it get anymore confusing? In the US, I have always assumed that if you ate at an earlier hour (5:00 for example) it was supper...eating a meal later in the evening (8:00 or so) was dinner. In my family, we intermingle the two words ETA: From Wikipedia, interesting take on the difference of words and it's origins http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supper
  7. I have always like the Sears Optical ones...the one with the racoon mistaken for the cat was good, but this one really made me laugh when I first saw it:

  9. Jesica Dragovar wrote: Kylie Jaxxon wrote: Ah, yes....I remember all that hoopla involving Mouse World. Wonder if he got shutdown or voluntarily closed, anyone know? I know cause I was there when it happened, basically he just could not keep up payments (Mouse World took ip three entires sims with prim limits maxed out) as far as I'm aware Disney is aware of these sims but since they do not make a profit they're considered fan sites (the owners of Magicland work at RL:Disneyland) besides it's basically free advertising for them Thanks for the info Jesica...yes, the place was huge to upkeep, but he seemed adamant at the time.
  10. Suella Ember wrote: ETA: Actually, am I right in thinking that in America you'd generally ask for either "Coca Cola" or "Pepsi" if you wanted a coke? Interestingly, over here we generally just ask for "coke" and get whichever brand the place happens to be selling! I think most use the words "coke" and "cola" as the same meaning, which is incorrect...People should ask for a "cola" and then they get whichever brand the place carries. ETA: We do the same thing with tissues, calling all of them kleenex
  11. I didn't realize so many were missing until people started listing names
  12. Hi Dres, didn't realize y'all had a change of seasons down there. Looks like you're in for a bit of nasty weather soon...stay safe

Wonder if he got shutdown or voluntarily closed, anyone know?

  20. Hi all....I've searched the knowledge base and couldn't zero in on my question, not using the right keywords, I guess :( I'm not anywhere near tech-savvy, especially when it comes to lithium. Is there a way that I can access a list of all the threads I posted to, to follow others answers, without having to go through my profile? What exactly does subscribing to a thread mean? ETA: Thanks, Storm, I didn't know about the symbols...that will make it much easier to pick out, but I still have to go through the lists of threads to find them, correct? I was trying to find a way to avoid that, what with all the different categories and stuff. In re to the subscriptions, notification is to email?
  21. Hi Tenshi, variety is the spice of life, as they say I would get bored (and I do in the Land section ads) seeing the same type ad, model, etc...Something different would jump out at me more (check out Tink Carver's ads in Land...he phrases something different everytime and it catches my eye each time.) Of course, just my opinion and personal preference...good luck to you
