  1. Labels (as tags in forums) are related to Filters. See the labels in http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/tkb-p/English_KB%40tkb belowe of each article's title ("About..."). In the KB the possible labels are pre-fixed: see the Filters list
  2. See the Kb (and the link to Wikipedia) http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Graphics_Preferences_Layout : Anisotropic Filtering (slower when enabled): Enables anisotropic filtering in order to improve texture quality. This setting may reduce your Second Life viewer's performance.
  3. "You just wanted us all to look at your group hehe :smileytongue::smileyvery-happy: " - - - - - Of course LOL "Try putting the word Aventura or the whole group name into the description, see if that bumps you up the list" - - - - - "Aventura" = bad results. "Aventura y" = better results. "Aventura y V" = no results LOL "Viajes" = my goup is the first result. Google search is misterious "...it seems to be as random as all the other SL search lately..." - - - - - Probably this is the CORRECT answer hahahaha
  4. The wiki about Search API has not info about optimization for Groups LOL But it's veri interesting your info about the use of Google api, thanks!
  5. For those who are opposed to the ranks, I recall that, in addition to writing here, there are more options for that opposition. See the first post of this thread: Irene Muni wrote: The previous system had a JIRA requesting removal the system of points ( https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-1498 ). In this new system, there is a JIRA requesting to be removed the "Ranks" and their permission to act in one way or another on the forums according to your rank. JIRA about "Ranks in Forums and SL Answers are unnecessary and inconsistent with community spirit": https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-3705
  6. IMHO the Knowledge Base needs a label "Knowledge Base" LOL There is no label for articles related to the KB (example: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/About-the-Second-Life-Knowledge-Base/ta-p/717279 ) :)
  7. Most of my friends in SL were born by chance. A chance meeting, a brief talk that drags on, a question for help, a veteran (or not!) participant in SL Answers ... Personally, I do not "seek" friends but, without more, I "meet" friends
  8. Totally agree Prokofi, usually I do as you.
  9. Totally outdated but --> https://secondlife.com/my/support/system-requirements/
  10. Hi all. Anyone knows the criteria that use the system for sort the Groups in "SL Groups Search" (Community > Groups). I had never searched for my group there: "Aventura y Viajes". But if I write "Aventura" in the search box the order of results are ... curious LOL Thanks in adcance :)
  11. If you are asking for https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Swizzle-Valentine-Kani-Eyes-Valentines-Day-Dollarbie/1902656 do you have the Curious Kani avatar?
  12. If you are Premium remember you can use Live Chat.
  13. Totally agree with Peewee. In general, the SL Answers format is totally chaotic.
  14. You can fill a Support Ticket (from https://support.secondlife.com/?lang=en-US ) Use as ticket type Marketplace > Failed Marketplace Delivery
  15. From http://status.secondlifegrid.net/2011/03/05/post1228/ [RESOLVED] Support Tickets Unavailable until 10pm PST[RESOLVED 9:38 pm PST] The ticketing system is active again.[uPDATE 8:11 pm PST] Our support ticketing system will be unavailable until approximately 10pm PST this evening. If the schedule for the outage changes, we’ll post here.[postED 7:38 pm PST] We are aware of an issue with support tickets currently being unavailable and we are working to correct the problem. Please check back here for updates. This entry was posted on Saturday, March 5th, 2011 at 9:38 pm and is filed under SLGrid Status. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0 feed.
  16. I'm not a Facebook user, but I agree with Peewee. From the Facebook Agreement ( http://www.facebook.com/terms.php?ref=pf ): "Facebook users provide their real names and information... You will not provide any false personal information on Facebook"
  17. Is there a way for show a "Translated Article" link (or something similar) in the English articles of the KB (if the articles are translated to other languages, of course LOL). It's useful to know at a glance whether an article is translated or not.

  19. If you are asking for the underwear clothes of the default avatars, you cannot. That underwear is "drawed" in your skin. You must change your skin. You can find many free skins inworld or in the Marketplace.
  20. Reminder for those who may be interested in: The previous system had a JIRA requesting removal the system of points ( https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-1498 ). In this new system, there is a JIRA requesting to be removed the "Ranks" and their permission to act in one way or another on the forums according to your rank. Password Scam

    UsherChick wrote: Editing the post since I didn't actually ask the question that is begged. Is supplying Driver's Licenses in order to reset a password a normal practice in SL? Or this could be a possible scam that should be reported? So far, it seems to be considered a normal practice. I don't know if it's a normal practice for reset passwords. But if really you are in the Support System, you can attach your Driver's License without problem, it is not scam.
