I have another almost free mesh body for men to show you, it is a freebie from DNA, located in the Signature region: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Signature/128/128/129 It is made to fit more mesh clothing. Signature Gianni sizes fits it reasonably well. Pick one of these bodies for 1 L, and a skin for 1 L. The body comes with a head. You can not take it off. All the newer skins is made with the EvoX template. They do not fit this head. All you wear from the neck and up, skin, hairbases and beards, and other layers like additional eyebrows, must be the older SL UV or classic template. It is easier to wear things like shorts on this body with an additional alpha layer. But finding freebies for men is hard, no matter what body you can have. You have better luck with new freebies, because they usually include a Signature Gianni size. And since it is so few male freebies, you have to read FabFree and hope it is an event or a new freebie where it is no group cost. The shorts here is not a freebie, but the Signature size very good. It can be a minimal, very minimal clip at the waist band, when you move.

I linked a tutorial on how to create an avatar for 1 L. I can link it again. It gives you info on a basic wardrobe with things like jeans suits and sweaters/jackets. https://virtualbloke.com/archives/5352 It is easier to dress an avatar, the more body you cover. When you want tight fit, like swim trunks, you struggle to find some. That freebie body fits older TMP clothing, you can find some on the Marketplace by searching TMP and filter it on the left to apparel - men's. From there you can filter more, like men's swimwear. You are left with a small selection, a lot look like bleugh, and it is not freebies. The default search will not do, so change it to price low to high, and mark "do not show demos". You will see that demos still slip through, but you got rid of most. You get 1 swim trunk for 1 L, several for 10 L, and several for 19 L. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/ It is 2 ways to find apparel and accessories for avatars. Pay for it, or search it everywhere and put in time. As a man, you find maybe 2% of what women find. You have to go through all freebie places like Ajuda SL Brasil, and the more picky you are, the harder it is. Picky is maybe the wrong word, better to call it "have taste and want to look good". The biggest freebie blog can be filtered to show "men's" in cathegories. https://fabfree.wordpress.com/ And here you get disappointed again. It is almost nothing for the freebie meshbody. It all fits bodies you must pay for, like Gianni and Belleza. Many freebies comes as group gifts, and the group can cost several hundred to join.

I thought the candle was decor, but it is hand held. It is an invisible prim for the animation, if that prim is linked off, you can use the candle as decor for only 1 Li. They are sold in packs with warm and cold colors. 100 L per pack. Warm candle pack: Bronze, brass and gold. Black or white candle for all metals. Cold colors: Onyx, platinum and silver. I show the hand lantern in platinum and the candle in gold w black candle. I can not show the wall lantern since I did not buy it, but it was 2 Li in the store.

I got it in C88, but I did not post it here, it was so busy for me in December. SL is a luxury I have very little time for up to Christmas. I don't even have time to go to advent calendars with store credit gifts. I love how Astralia has weekend offers for LaraX. The last 3 or 4 weekends? Such a lovely gown. Very classy. 😍

This wall/shelf can be stretched a little and stay 2 Li, and quite big up to 3 Li.

They call it 'skinned' when jewelry is rigged for bodies. I get a 'Silence of the lambs' feeling. 😆 Yummy has a few more necklaces for LaraX, Sigma too, and Kungles has their last necklace 'skinned'. I hope Sigma and Yummy work their way back and includes LaraX. It is some pieces I am in love with.

Finally, some skinny jeans. They include 2 "in boots" versions that fit in surprisingly many boots. Not thigh high, but overknee boots like these. Sadly the Blueberry boots I have do not fit. It is really much in LaraX sizes in new events. I picked up a lot from Fameshed, Anthem, and I even found a new favorite necklace from Sigma in the Belleza event. I am not sure if I am a fan of rigged necklaces. The stores should include an unrigged version too. It looks like some stores only rig necklaces now. Sigma, Ysoral, AwaWay, Yummy and Rawr has started to get some jewelry with LaraX rigging. Very good for belly piercings, garters, overarms and other things that Lara size absolutely do not fit. So far I only have a necklace from Yummy, one from AvaWay and one from Sigma. I have not seen much jewelry for LaraX in weekend sales yet, only a belly chain from Ysoral. I am hoping that will change.

It is about time the system is changed, @Patch Linden @Abnor Mole To set the abandoned home back first is frustrating people. To get the same home day after day after day is not a good feeling. It could make less popular themes more attractive, if people could roll and hope for a better placement, instead of the one they absolutely do not want.

Not much editing, adjusted levels to get a little bit contrast, added vignette and signature. Wow, I am glad the skin pack had a nipple cover layer...

So it is not a skin that gives you the dark color? The answer over is what to do with miscoloring from a skin. That is not the same as wearing stockings or socks. A BOM sock texture will texture your toes - around every toe separately - but not the nails. Maitreya has an add-on layer that shapes a cap over the toes, so the stockings look perfect. If that is what you want, look for a "group joiner" in the Ebody store, join the group and ask there, maybe Ebody has a solution... I use only Maitreya, so I do not know other bodies.

I went to the event (TSA) from the Facebook post. No matter how much I was looking, I could not find demos. I went to the Mainstore and found demos for the denim skirt with holes and the high waist jeans. These clothes do not have LaraX size. I was mainly interested in the high waist jeans. Is it 'normal' for the TSA event to not have demos? Was I blind, or the demo sign not rez for me...? It was an Addams vendor close to it, and I could not see any demo there either.

Go in edit appearance- edit outfit- body parts. Find your eyebrowshaper. In SL official viewer, it looks like a head in profile. In Firestorm, it is a brown shape looking limke a short wig. It is often named something brow or brow shaper. Click the wrench next to it, select 'style', NOT eyebrows. Set all sliders to zero. If this eyebrow shaper is no modify, you have to find another one that is modify.

Forgive me for not reading all the pages. 😪 I want to know how avatars will look in PBR. At this moment, I do not care for showy regions and pretty snow and will not read +30 pages about it. Must bodies, hair, clothes and all the other things we wear, be optimized for PBR? If they are not, how will we look with our pre- PBR avatars? Will our enviroment settings look bad in PBR? Must we have PBR settings?
