  1. You can read more about it here; http://anotherfundraiser.blogspot.com/ It is some really well known avatars behind this, I think it ia a solid funded and genuine fund raiser. But, I give my money direct to the Red Cross in RL money. I treat fundraisers in SL like shopping - I only buy things I like and if I honestly think it goes to a good cause, it's icing on the cake. I will go there and get some skins for 50L, because it's a bargain, and a good cause.
  2. Neverwhere. A dark adult roleplay sim. http://secondlife.com/destination/neverwhere They do have "Observer" titlers at the entrance, so it's not a problem to visit and only look as long as you are over 18. Amazing build. Remember to go underwater too. If I get land again and decide to build a tropical forest, I will go to Neverwhere and inspect the plants, to find the creator. Windlight Ana Lutetia Studio (with thweaks) framing in Picnik.
  3. SL Freebie Hunters is a blog I absolutely love. They must work full time hunting and take pictures of their finds. So lazy avatars like me can pick just what I like, instead of going through a hunt with 200 shops and unpack 200 gifts and keep just 5. They also show all the male gifts, and unisex gifts like furniture, skyboxes and vehicles. I know it's not what many shopowners like to hear, but it is so many big hunts going on all the time. It is not possible for me to do all shops in one hunt, and absolutely not 5 hunts the same month. http://slfreebiehunters.blogspot.com/
  4. I give up, I can't find a picture of me in watermelon colors... :smileyvery-happy:
  5. I really have not looked closely at the feet when I buy skin demos. I have worn Slink feet for such a long time. But, before it was prim feet, I made a "Barefoot shape" with larger feet. Most female avatars use size zero feet all the time, since shoe makers only worked with size zero feet. I think my barefoot shape had feet size 18 or 20. This way, the feet form will look more realistic. Try this, and go and demo some of the skins you like. Oh, and male avatars, seven feet tall, with tiny feet on the beach? No-oh.
  6. Oh, I really like to change my avatar. I don't think I have had a "default look" in many years. My alts look the same over a longer period of time, since I don't use them much. And I am greedy, I don't buy so much for them. :smileywink: And bigger breasts is just a shape away, click "wear" and instant cup change! A cup or double F? Both! (Not the same time of course!) I don't think I would appreciate the attention from a certain type male avatars, to be honest... so keeping them away works fine. One of my alts was made for roleplay, before I found out that I wasn't really interested in roleplay, only to play dress-up. She was made ugly and too thin just so she should not be interesting to capture and enslave. My current look is more chic than sex bomb. But I have been working in Qaviamator on some really sexy poses...
  7. What Sid said If you lag much with higher graphics, it can be an idea to go down again, and adjust Renderavatarlod factor up a bit. Also, check "Advanced" under graphics, and reduce your draw distance, if you can. That way, you will only render things close to you. It will help on lag. You can also reduce detail on sky, ground, trees... make a priority on what you need most details on.
  8. Well, that is a way to say it! :smileyvery-happy:
  9. Just recently I gave Marianne's body a makeover. I have never been a 100 height or a very big busted girl, but I turned the shape into a smaller, thin A-cup size. Cleavage boosters have been very popular the last 1-2 years. You could not see an ad without the pressed together breasts. - Even in topless ads for tattoos, the breasts looked like they were glued together! I admit that a few of my pictures was using this push-up effect when it would look better without it. But I never used them in topless photos. *smiles* But now comes the minimizers. LAQ, Tuli and Pink Fuel offer A-cup versions to be worn over their skins. And Curio is working on a minimizer too! I know I am getting one to wear with my Jasmine skin. Shown here is Tuli "Claire" skin in fair with minimizer. Have you seen more skins with A-cup versions?
  10. I bought the same flower poses as Regina.... I love them, but I could not get out of my "creepy" feeling. So I give you my romantic zombie avatar. I really like how she looks sad, as if she remember how it was to be human.
  11. Got an update - the CSR was responding quick and friendly, stating that she will remove me manually and there is supposed to be a subscribomatic there, but they will move it so it's easier to find. <3 Well, the build was rezzed, I was walking around the desk in the foyer, looking around. Outside of the door, left and right, it was such "What's new in SL" to click on and other Magazines subscribo boards. Maybe the subscribo was in another room? I am used to open local chat and tp to where the message is sent from, if I can't find the subscribo, but that was the sim server. I are used to that Subscribos shall look the same. I don't know if all do, but if some use a custom made one, they should have a floating text over to identify it. Problem solved here, I think.
  12. I have to ask you to remove the store name. It is agains the TOS to name avatars/stores here. I was really shocked - I never thought this particular business had such a lousy customer service. I am in the sub-o-matic group myself, and I was sure you had made a mistake, or didn't look well enough. But it is no mistake. The subscribe-o-matic message came from a security orb protected skybox, giving me this message when I tried to unsubscribe: " Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx's hippoSECURE v 1.6 Marianne Little, I am afraid that XXX (210, 196, 502) is a restricted area. Please leave within the next 10 seconds or i will have to remove you from XXX is closed. Indefinetly.. Many thanks!" Oh please, this is stupid of you. Generally not smart to remove your subscribe-o-matic. If you restrict your customers to opt out, you don't gain anything. I did send the store CSR an IM, but this should not have to be necessary. Edited to add: Other forums outside of SL can name and shame merchants if they don't respond to your request.
  13. I am more in a Sci-fi mood these days, so it's not many flowery dresses I wear. But I can dig out a picture from last year, when I had land. So the picture was taken in my garden. No garden now, only postapocalyptic grunge and dry soil. It is easy to change in SL. :womanwink:
  14. Sometimes I put on too many tattoo layers. I get a upper body/face that will no load the texture, it is just the default LL skin. I take off and put on again some of the tattoo layers. That helps for me.
  15. Nordari. Small but beautiful. Custom windlight, both sky and water (to get the reflection) made by me. I can't take credit for the idea, tutorial here: http://zonjacapalini.wordpress.com/guides/mirror-water/ I did however tweak it a bit and uploaded another texture too. http://secondlife.com/destination/nordari
  16. Risk City. Some adult poseballs/animations. My windlight setting, framing in Picnik. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Risk%20City/119/103/31
  17. Alirium Gardens. Windlight setting by me, I was just playing around until I liked it. Framing in Picnik. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/alirium/130/123/66
  18. Forgotten City. Windlight setting: Bryan Oh Condos in the Sky2, modified slightly. Added CinemaScope in Picnik. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Forgotten%20City/94/209/23
  19. Really fierce, Wildcat! I like your guns. Where is the pic taken?
  20. Uh-oh. I have to sit on my hands so that I don't post too many pictures here. I just post 3, I could easy post 10... and some male looks too. I hope that you like my mix-n match looks.
  21. The hair in the tuxedo pic? It is one of the first LAQ hairs they made to use with hairbase. I must have bought it in 2008 or 2009. It only came in one color, but it is nice....
  22. Ok, now it is so clear for me - I am Valerie's alt! Lol, we have the same style and go to the same places.
  23. Thanks Lisa! I have ruined so many hairs in the start, hehe. It can be hard to pick the right parts. A hair without so much flexi is easy to work with. If you already have a hat with attached hair, you can unlink the hat and delete it, and use the hair with another hat. Picture 1: Rez the hair and rightclick -> edit. Make sure you tick "Edit linked parts" and select the hat. You will see it outlined in blue. Then pick "unlink" from tools. Picture 2: The hat is outlined in yellow after you unlinked it. Now you delete it. Repeat these 2 steps if the hat has more than one part. Picture 3: Take the hair back to your inventory. Now you can rename it to "hat hair" or something else you remember. Now, you can wear the hair with another hat!

They look nice. Hope that Ian are back to reply. But it looks like a Rebel Hope tux. I have the female version. I love it when guys wear prim sleeves and other details, instead of the painted on freebie tuxedos. Guys who dress up are a rare gem in SL indeed.
