Nope, that’s another animal entirely, you did not make a thread for yourself to rant about a single peeve, rather you made another useful thread that gives invitation for many to speak. as far as rudeness, I’ve been on one that was ruder, besides something like 4chan (and even there, I’ve seen nicer threads!) but most I’m on are for specific hobbies so that’s probably why. People disagree on them, sure, and there is debate... but in a different way. And having joined SL in 2008, not quite new to the internet, nope.

And yes, no one with any sense thinks the mask will **protect you from the virus** it’s to keep wet snot and saliva particles in or out, depending on if you are the sick one trying not to sneeze or cough on others, or the one not wanting to be coughed or sneezed on. Also, it supposedly keeps you from touching your face as much with potentially contaminated hands, though if you do not put on and take off any mask in the correct way, you contaminate it and if you don’t wash (cloth)or dispose of (paper) masks when contaminated, they will not do much good and may actually cause more exposure. That’s what I’ve learned. Corrections welcome.

  5. If you want to know something about the TOS and rules, ask a Linden employee. If you want to know what other residents think about it, I think it’s petty and unimaginative to rag on someone else’s store in a pick. It would make me avoid you, not them. This topic could have gone under pet peeves as ‘bad customer service’ if you’ve had an issue with a store. It did not need a whole thread,again, IMO.

People starting speshul threads for their common bitchin’ when we have a PERFECTLY GOOD peeves thread here for those things. 😇 😈 edit: or do we need a rant thread too for something stronger than peeves? That would prolly get shut down quickly though via people rule-breaking b/c ‘muh feels’ supersedes the rules or hm, good forum behavior? Dunno. This is one of the rudest forums I’ve been on so the rules go differently.
  7. I’d like to see the group mods boot these people like they do the people asking for $Linden dollars, it’s the same kind of thing. I know the mods don’t always make the rules and it’s not good to dissuade customers but still, begging is begging and when it gets belligerent, I vote for boot.

Yeah, I’m bumping it again...time for BRUNCH! fritatta, spinach and bacon...stuffed zucchini with Italian sausage and roasted asparagus, roasted carrots with fleur de sel and lots of cheap pepper I’m trying to use up. 🤣 As long as the oven is on, might as well fill it. The fritatta was big and I also baked stuffed mushrooms for lunch and that fills both racks. It was also chilly this morning so it heated the kitchen just enough. We have a big gas heater for the central heating in the house which is an energy hog so baking warms the house. In warmer weather, I have a smol toaster oven and I mostly do not bake much big stuff. Almost time to make the switch. (bitches love brunch!) 🥰

  11. I wouldn’t say ‘enjoying’ but we are definitely adapting. I’m choosing to look at it as a challenge to be more resourceful and taking it as a time to also do a big Spring Cleaning, which leaves me satisfyingly tired and not prone to overthink.
  12. Remains of the brunch fritatta, it reheats nicely so why not make a large one! 8 2-egg servings. 250g chorizo, 16 eggs, 3 colored peppers, garlic, green onion. A squeeze of rooster sauce. Serve with a few white corn chips on the side and strong cups of milky coffee!
  13. Center justified text misused in blog posts. especially when listing what the avatar is wearing. Add Random capitalization and Spacing and by all means omit the punctuation a guarantee I’ll never read any of your stuff and mute (block) you on every platform
  14. Also, did I mention that we like cheese? Can’t paste the labels into a journal like you can wine labels so snapshots are the solution.
  15. I’m like this if I’m not careful, lol...he may not realize he’s doing it. I’m writing in my journal more and tonight I’m re-starting my blog so I don’t bug my fiancé too much when he’s doing something he needs (or wants) concentration for.
  16. I’m simmering beef stock to clean out the freezer bones and meat trimmings, an all-day process. A small handful of pink peppercorns, a bay leaf and a rosemary sprig for the seasoning. I added some carrots long enough to cook them nicely then fished them out to eat! I still need to make cauliflower rice and do up the lunch dishes, we ate up the leftover baked chicken. I’ll probably reheat a beef and bok choi dish for dinner or just pan-fry 2 steaks...either one with some of the cauli-rice as a side. I’m tired from cleaning and shifting boxes.

  18. Surf and turf: Filet mignon finished with scallion butter, paprika dusted seared salmon and a simple green salad with asparagus tips and home-made bleue cheese dressing. Lemon water. Maybe a pickle. this will be the 4th meal for 2 from the beef loin I cut up, we will have 2 more from it at least. We have eaten my home cooking since the remote work started, March 20. I reheated one frozen bag of carnitas with peppers and we have had some frozen veg and fruits...but the rest has been pretty fresh. It’s a good way for us and I have enjoyed a solid hobby cooking streak. tomorrow, cream of asparagus and mushroom soup using up the asparagus butts and mushroom stems. 😉
