In my experience often they do nt respond to messages sent in world, or they do and they seem to have no interest in chatting or getting to know people. Why di dthey bother to make a post here if they have no interest in actually getting to know someone?

A question we must deal with in trying to "live better" is just why doesn't society work the way we want it to now? The tribal vs civilization idea, assumes that the fault lies in civilization. However the fault may very well lie in human nature.

Mankind needs to learn to once again live in harmony with nature, not as we once did because we had no choice. But a new harmony, that sees nature as a treasure to be valued and enjoyed rather than as a threat to be feared and fought with.

No you are not soulless, you just are what you are. Everyone likes different things. There may be things that make you adverse to social interaction that you could change if you want to, but it isn't something you need to do unless it's important to you. If you did change, that wouldn't somehow magically give you a soul.

1, October 31st, was the date that Martin Luther nailed his 95 thesis on the door of the Wittenberg chapel, which set off the Protestant Reformation. My church is having a Reformation day chili cook-off. 2. Not since my kids lost interest. 3. No 4. The fact that people get outside and have social interaction with their neighbors, often the only day of the year they do. 5. The blood and gore stuff.

It seems that this is the issue, was the picture posted before the contest ended. If they posted it after winning it does seem to me to be a violation of the rules.

SL can be as complex or as easy as you want to make it. It seems to me the biggest problem with newbies is they want to jump right to the most complex version right from the start. If they use that starter avi. take thngs slow, upgrade as they figure it all out it wouldn't be that hard. Few people have the patience for that though.
