Just another friend request out of the blue today, plus two sentences off sim from a stranger about having just crashed out. Not sure what that was about. It was well constructed but without context. How you IM a random person after crashing out is beyond me, so I suspect it was a cunning opening style...... Neither got a response. I don't have time for it!

I've been changing the colours, but my inventory and appearance tabs are horrible. The appearance tab is white font on brown until selected, when it becomes light brown on brown. The worn items are brown font on black. When selected they become light brown on medium brown and are almost unreadable. Inventory isn't so bad because the font stays white, but selected gets a brown background. I just can't see where to alter this, it doesn't look obvious in preferences, so I'm guessing its elsewhere? All the slider tracks in preferences are...……..you guessed it...…..BROWN.

There are times when I'm focused on the sliders, when it would be nice to have solitary confinement for a while. Actually a button to turn off my "being in world" would do the same thing. In fact that and my avi being invisible to everybody but me would work. The truth is that being on UK time means when I'm in world in my mornings, there's nobody much about so that's when I do the slider stuff. I'd love to see full USA mode but there's no way I'm staying up late!!

My first day with a new laptop and Firestorm after eight months on an old laptop and SL viewer. The difference is astonishing. Much greater resolution and much better graphics. Also much faster to rezz on landing in sim. So I won't be going back. It will take me a while to understand the bells and whistles but I like it a lot.

I've had a lovey day today, getting to grips with Firestorm, and running two laptops, so I could hang out with Salty for the first time. We had some fun and rounded it off with a dance. I have to say, going dancing with yourselfAlt is a joy...........no irritating hits from guys for a start. So we'll be doing this again, but I need to work on her mesh head, and get her some better hair........... Y'know where all this is going...........I've given up on the "not me" idea, she' gonna be my sister..............my kid sister.......it will be such fun!!

This all kicked off a while ago. I was on the train to London, when a guy got on, and sat at my table. He took out his laptop, and then he took out a small Lamborghini........(that's not a euphemism). He switched it on underneath, and the headlights came on.................it was a mouse........... So the Christmas before last I bought one for my beloved.........a yellow Porsche 911. It was very accurate and went down a storm as he didn't know you could get car mouses....... Anyways...for my new laptop I decided to treat myself. I couldn't find a Porsche (quality varies), so I got the next best thing. It arrived today after being delayed in the post. It's lovely!

On that very subject....clothing.....I finished reviewing my Word file of saved outfits just now.......... It means I can jump into a suitable outfit after a quick look at my list....... The numbers are: Beachwear 4; Underwear 6: Agent Smith 3: Wonder Woman 1: Jeans with Tops or Jackets 28; Skirt with Jacket 8; Skirts with Tops 8; Shorts with Tops 4; Casual Dresses 8; Dresses with Jackets 2; Formal Trousers 1; Bodicon Dresses 27; Formal Dresses 19; Gowns 8. Not a bad haul in eight months. There's plenty more I don't bother with.............

Four pairs is ludicrously inadequate. Forty pairs I never wear is closer to the truth. I don't count but maybe I should. I could spend all my time at shoe stores, specially Essenz.......my footwear of choice, although obviously there are a hundred runners up..... Some of you already know that "Salty" is my one and only Alt. (BelindaSalt) She's my way in world if I have problems, and my applier test bed........but I've been neglecting her lately. Anyway, I tried to make her different from me, but I'm struggling. She has a zillion demo heads and I'm also struggling to find time to work them. But because I love my first "paid for" avi so much...Bea from the Blue Shop.........I've added her to Salty's inventory so when I get my new computer sorted out, we can take some pics. Me and my younger (older) sister I guess. I took her over to Dolce Amore this morning, where there was a naked guy with a full on, who didn't speak.*rolls eyes* ..........................and then to Lutz......... Here she is, with a Lara body of course......... (she's not as good looking as me......yet) /me grins..........

If everybody thought the way I did, and acted the way I did, it would be a lovely free society to live in. But they don't. 🤔😳
