Who would have ever thought that Bellisseria would have developed into such a vibrant, mixed and socially active community? For lands where ban lines are prohibited (yes, PROHIBITED!), security systems must give a minimum of 15 seconds warning and only eject, not send home, and must not have any action at all on the 400 to 2000m high zone (thus permitting freedom of flight throughout all parts of Bellisseria), and anyone can visit the public areas, you might have thought that this would have degenerated into one of the most awful places to take up digital residence. Quite the opposite! Not only is there a great sense of, and pride in, community, but a pretty good mix of people making it up too. I have an inkling that the "openess" of Bellisseria would not suit @Tolya Ugajin at all, irrespective of the size or grandeur of the parcels.

Perhaps I have missed the point of this thread. Forgive me if so. Unfortunately, I detest intensely the accusations, suggestions and propositions that are being made blandly about "us". Although I strongly support the continued survival of any educational ventures in Second Life, the manner which this thread is being conducted is definitely not the way to uphold it. Bye-bye everybody; see you in the next sensibly worded debate.

I fully agree. 100%. But what on earth has that got to do with a project running out of funds? Are you accusing any persons in Second Life with carrying out, permitting, or in any way facilitating this kind of activity? If so, it is VITAL that you raise an Abuse Report immediately. LL will investigate such a report with a very high priority indeed.

Happy Christmas @Hippie Bowman and family.... and also to everyone kind enough (brave enough?) to stick their heads above the wall and contribute to these forums! I have learnt a great deal from reading here - from unravelling the black art of how this thing actually works, to deep issues about human nature and why you should never wear red and green together.....
