Is it possible to post what it says for those of us that avoid Fakebook like the Covid?

One idea for the casino is make all tokens free (like some have suggested) and maybe issue 1000 per toon per day. The slow machines would issue special coins that you can spend on exclusive Linden prizes and maybe some of the famous bears.

I have a feeling LL is writing something up about the Casino thing and will post it soon. Probably wording it so it will appease the Residents. I had to post a sign in my bar as required by the city and it had to be worded in a way to appease all.

Although the Moles may have built the place --- I think it's the higher ups who decides things. Maybe at the next in world meeting with Lindens the casino thing could be bought up. I went to one recently to bring up the mboard changes a while back.

If that's true, the Lab is going in the wrong direction. I still noticed a lack of a comment from a Linden staff person.

Wondering if they're testing the waters on this?

I do have a feeling a Mod or 3 seen these threads on the gambling thing and sent it up to the higher brass --- who's probably discussing or preparing a carefully worded post regarding this issue. One of my patrons in my bar works for the SLGA (Saskatchewan Liqour and Gaming Authority) and I showed him the SL casino thing and asked if it violates any gaming laws in the province. He said probably not, but will get back to me. They have gotten on some MMOs on their loot boxes and if you log on one of those games in the province, those are missing from their cash shop. If on a VPN (like I do) you may see them though.

One thing about those App type slot games or casino games on the mobile --- they are serious money beggars. I played one on my daughter's tablet and every so many spins it popped up "Buy more credits - 100k for 29.95." For the tokens here, if you need more then the free ones and you have little Lindens on your toon --- guess what? Need RL money to buy the Lindens!

Best thing for that casino sim is the Lab to blow it up and put a women's shoe store there! We can never have enough shoes!

There's a lot of concerns about gambling posted on the Lab's Twitter.

Hopefully one of the Linden staff can spill the beans on this. Might be part of the newer owners that bought the Lab recently. I took a gander to that place and most stuff is made by Lindens and Moles.

If I was in world and saw that casino --- I would've lodged an AR report and let the Lab decide it's future.

I lost one of the original Greedy Greedy tables that way. Sick feeling I got since a small fortune was paid for it. The make did send a new one though and think he added a caution in future instructions on how to handle rez issues. Later on they changed the system to a subscription/licence system, so if a table went to the abyss --- as long your licence was valid you could rez a new one.

I got a couple groups made by persons that are now gone. For memories.

Hope you don't give the Lindens ideas for new fees!

It's nice they're giving advance notice of closing up. Recently we had a few in world outfits simply close up with no notice and say "Sorry, we're closed..."

Thought for a moment it was an intro for Red Dead Redemption --- which is a western based MMO who graphics fall below SL's quality. I think the way they made it, not too fancy is so it can play on any device.
