  1. To be honest, I didn’t want to say this before: I feel trolled. Between the high price, the way the sliders don’t respond, the odd shape, etc. I feel like this was a statement of some kind.
  2. Funny story: My boss sent me an email about something and at the end she said "I want you to TNA as soon as possible." I had to email her I'm on it, but I just have to ask what TNA means. Take Necessary Action....I didn't have the heart to tell her what the other meaning is. God I love English.
  3. It's important to remember that an AO is just a set of animations so that your avatar looks like it's doing a particular action. In this case riding a horse. So you would need an AO for a horse to make it look like you're riding, trotting, galloping, etc. Most horses come with a basic set that cover these actions afaik. As far as the saddle. Teegle and Waterhorse have a wide variety of choices, and they go on the horse as an attachment. They aren't necessary to ride, so its up to you.
  4. It looks like a sky platform. How high up are you?
  5. I guess its safe to go to the store now for an update.
  6. Am I the only one who's wondering what the avatar in question looks like?
  7. Sorry, but if a server did that to me, I'd be calling the manager. I'm not even that kind of person since I was a waitress for 3 years. But that? Before my coffee? Before my coffee?!? Lawd....
  8. I like the idea of them using the UDIM for the body texture for the Cinnamon body. It's technical, but it should end up with a higher resolution skin texture that way. Which is great. Its forward thinking and it's squeezing the most out of what is possible in SL. It's the locking you into a certain shape. One of the sliders didn't work at all! I'm beside myself still. I just don't understand it.
  9. The SLUV works for the Chai body, but not the Cinnamon body. The Chai body uses a hybrid system; the hands and feet are on a different UV, but the body isn't....so you still have to use blenders for the feet. I didn't even get that far, because of the shape and the sliders.....OMG, why? Whhhhhhyyyyyy?
  10. I just demoed it. Issa no from me. The body shape is alright, if you like that kind of body shape. When you start playing with the sliders....my goodness. I adjusted the butt a little bit and the hips sucked in. I've...never seen that before. I tend to like versatile bodies, this...is what you see is what you get. You're almost completely locked in to what ever shape this will come with. Your own personal shape? There will be none of that. I'm kind of shocked, Hourglass was much more versatile than this. Wow.
  11. Their Discord has a skin channel with everything you would need for skins and skin related addons. https://discord.gg/MYG29kRb
  12. Good. I'm not the only one. It seems high to me too. I like the body, but it's got a high booty.
  13. It's not even an "I want it now" thing. It's two things: 1) Nobody wants to start off Second Life with an avatar that looks like a character from a Playstation game. That's Playstation 1, not Playstation 5. 2) In no modern day advertisement, splash page, blog, flickr, FB, reddit, new article, etc does an avatar look like system avatar...even the updated ones. At the very least, the expectation is going to be that you get an avatar that looks on par with what people are seeing before they even sign up.
  14. When a guy tp's you to see his new house
  15. Family during the Thanksgiving/Christmas season My goodness, why does everybody lose their minds during this time period?
  16. DEFINITION OF INSANITY *I tp into a club with voice disabled* Random Guy: Hello Me: Hello *Small talk conversation ensues about how my avatar is beautiful, blah, blah, blah, random friend request thrown in there like a hail mary* Random Guy: Do you come here often? Me: Every once in a while; they play good music here. Me: How about you? Random Guy: I mostly hang out here and a couple other places. Random Guy: Do you voice? Me: Yes Random Guy: Really? That's rare. Most women I try to talk to here don't voice. Me: Well, the sim has voice disabled. I find that people that aren't interested in voice tend to hang out on sims where voice is disabled. There are countless other sims where you can hang out where voice is enabled and you can voice to your heart's content. Random Guy: Yeah, that's true, I guess. I guess I never thought of it that way. I guess I meant more like a lot of people I meet here don't want to voice. *closes box*
  17. Creators would somehow create a mesh lower body market with 13 different choices for women. Men...sorry fellas....your market will only have three. Countless arguments about which lower body is the most aesthetically pleasing and proportional would ensue on the forum.
  18. Since you're premium, why don't you just use one of the many premium sandboxes? Whenever I have a large backdrop I want to rez, thats where I go. Nobody ever bothers me at a premium sandbox. People that actually use them tend to be off in their own little corner, doing their own thing.
  19. Somebody's going to be making skins for it. The process looks pretty simple to me and its automated. There's a free plug in for blender to convert the existing SLUV to UDIM and at higher resolution 2048. If I messed with skins, I'd be excited to see what the result looks like inworld. So even if it doesn't take off, I'd expect some skin makers to at least play around with it once or twice. Whether people buy into it or not is going to be another story. I'm pretty sure, since just about every big brand skin maker has created skins for Slink, they've gotten a kit. Which means someone is going to work with it.
  20. Yeah, that was an odd choice. Especially, since BOM happened and she was the first one to jump on it. But it could result in Higher definition Body skins.....buuuut we're back to appliers. I have the kit for it, it's using UDIMs for textures and regular skins can be converted in blender and substance painter. It looks like a pretty easy process for those creators willing to take an extra step. I just haven't gotten the chance to read through it all the way, but she makes very thorough tutorials on how to do things included in her kit. I've never tried to make a skin, especially in Blender or Substance Painter so I'm not quite sure how that all works. I've suspected for a while there are a couple of skin makers who are making skins this way already, so we'll see.
