I totally agree @BelleBax Many like you know exactly what a healthy vent is and I encourage everyone to vent in such a healthy way, as you do ♥ My post isn't to offend or correct anyone and I feel this thread is really necessary! When venting turns to ranting or blaming it does get others upset and no one needs more stress in a stressful situation ♥ Vent ON! \☻/ And let it out ♥ just as @BelleBax and many others do ♥

Venting is always good to help unload frustrations and release them but we should try to remember that we shouldn’t blame our frustration on others 💗 Tell the world as many times as you need to that “You’re Mad as Hell and Not Going To Take It Anymore” ...then try and do something you do enjoy for a little while, until you do feel better 💗 All of us have felt it at one time or another and we all make mistakes from time to time. Talk about them and perhaps there is a solution in that conversation. As far as I have experienced, making other people upset has never made me feel better 🙂 Deep breaths, hugs, invent a silly walk and enjoy a great weekend. Come inworld if you can and look for a gathering of dots on the map and say hello to your old, new and future neighbours 💃🏽🕺🏽 HUGs All 💕

I’ve never checked if both of us can set Home at the Houseboat, but we have it set to Anyone can Rez, Anyone can use Scripts and a 1 hour Object Return and just both of us can use doors and the textures, but I’m pretty sure the Houseboat can’t be set to Group Only. I think my access page still has Group plus Anyone checked, but however the access tab was when I got it and set it up, I can’t change it now, as it’s all greyed out except for the Ban Add box 💗 it has been a while since I got that message, but I’m sure it was quite a few times after the access page was mostly greyed out.

I think that is why for sure! Not all people read the covenant I guess, so that change to the access page makes sure there are no ban lines possible 🥰

I think now you add them on the Access list inside your house or houseboat? It’s been a while since I did ours, but both of us can open the doors and also change the textures doing it this way. All objects you Rez in the land will be be in the name of the group you wear when you Rez them but you can change them to any group using the Edit menu 😁

I’ve had that message off and on since I first got our houseboat even after it was set to public and I’ve never used the LH security. iassumed they were just resting something and did nothing. Everything seems to work fine on our land ⛵ i got ours on the first day and this is the original message that I received when all homes were set to public. Mine had been set to group before that 🙂

Oh dear! If you have carpet on the floor that will be a mess when you finally let them out! Have you tried Live Support for advice on how to solve the locked doors? They are very helpful 😉 or look under the doormat for a spare key? 😁

The newspaper called The Bellisserian has a great page of listings and I think it’s quite up to date. Have fun and enjoy! I’m not a very good decorator but I did get a lot of inspiration visiting the Parade of Homes in the HUD and looking at the amazing photos in the photos threads 😍

OMG!! I think this houseboat is pregnant!!! Looks like it will be a pretty big litter! I don’t think you’ll have any problems finding homes for them when they get big enough with the current houseboat shortage 😉 i wonder if @Quartz Mole realizes they’ve released one of the breeding stock?

Don't despair @tootsiepop1 There are homeowners new and old who abandon at all hours of the day and night too ♥ And parties at all hours of the day and night also ♥ This one went from 5 PM SLT to 10 PM SLT... That big barge is actually a boat!! That is impressive navigating skills!!! It belongs to DJ Claw and he also has a second one which he sets out on a Region border if the parties get too big! Everyone is welcome to come and let go of the stress and meet other new people and enjoy being together. No one ever knows if a person partying is visiting or a resident unless they choose to say, and it never matters because we'll all be living there sooner or later ♥

No one really needs to tear hair out and and give themselves ulcers and insult people trying to get one of the scarce new Homes they don't need to pay for either but in lieu of having a little patience, perhaps this could be a viable alternative to that sort of self-destructive behavior?

Perhaps some people don't know that any Premium Member can purchase a piece of Abandoned Mainland for L$1/m2 by filing a Support ticket and asking to purchase the land (take a SLurl or an LM). The initial investment is $1,024 if you wish to buy 1,024 m2, which is equivalent to just under 3.5 weeks of Premium stipend, and live there rent free and tier free as long as they wish to remain Premium. There are many Mainland parcels which can be purchased for even less than L$1 per square metre from Private sales. Even though these parcels may not be as nice as Bellisseria, many are very nice and can be as nice as a parcel owner makes them, or alternatively put a beautiful skybox above the land. If a property owner does a nice job of decorating the land, they could also earn a profit if they choose to sell it later, and if they do choose to abandon it, it's only 3.5 weeks of stipend, not millions of L$. 😉

Same for me today, Prudence 😶 I do try to simply empathize and do my best not to let their anger and insults get to me and most importantly not to allow my own frustration with their foolish immature behavior affect others around me but today for the first time since moving to Bellisseria I thought about giving up our cherished houseboat and retreating to our former skybox life... but I'm no quitter ♪

I too have my angst-ridden moments and today I did. I was insulted, yelled at, sworn at and threatened by a large number of angry screaming babies who definitely need to seek some anger management and I was rather shocked that these 3 year olds are using expensive computers without adult supervision!
