  1. Maybe as no VAT is charged on a yearly Premium Membership it would serve your needs to just upgrade an extra Alt and donate that Alt’s free 1024 to the same land group? (Then maybe no account would need to downgrade to Basic, perhaps just one upgrade from Basic to Premium). I’m very glad you posted these questions as the answers and info others already know has answered some questions I also had about the same thing ☺️
  2. @hippopotomonstrosesquipedalian You may want to consider that each Premium account receives 1024 square meters free PLUS the weekly stipend of L$300, so that reduces the nest cost of a Premium membership to approx USD $30 to $40 per year (if you consider the value of the Stipend) and divided by 12 months (if prepaid yearly) that works out to be about USD $3.00 to $3.50 per month (depending on the Lindex value) vs paying for an extra 1024 square metres which will cost USD $7 per month. I think it would be more expensive to split the extra 1024 between 2 accounts as each would pay for an extra 512 square meters, which is the lowest level of tier and would be an extra USD $4.00 per month each. I'm not sure if there's a way to use a Tilia balance or if L$ can be used to pay for tier. Have a great day!
  3. Are you wearing the Group Tag for the land you want to buy for? The only other issue I can think of is to make sure that Ability is ticked in the Group Info. Hope you get it sorted.
  4. In my experience, I removed the parcel size (in square meters) from the Group I wanted to end up owning the land so I had available tier in case I won the auction. Once you’ve won the auction you can deed the new land to the Group or contribute land to Group with deed (not sure of the exact wording, but on the first tab of About Land window. Good luck in the auction, they are lots of fun!
  5. Will you be paying the renter that amount...? 😸
  6. If this was Hoot Suite Gallery in Ruthsberg Region, the art is a gift. 10 pieces are set to L$0 to celebrate the new Body Positive series by artist Skip Staheli. ❤️❤️❤️ I thought it was just for the Opening Day but maybe he left them up as the Region was full during that Event.
  7. Maybe try to think of the pods like escalators or elevators or ski lifts or cable cars operate in RL? They are usually always running, or in a state of running, or readiness to be there as we need them or notice them and decide to use them ♥ There are times when it is more feasible or economical to keep them operating than it would be to call them up on demand only, I think ♥ (Newton's Law)
  8. There are large continents of connected Mainland in SL Here is a link to a list of them http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/List_Of_Continents on each of those are road systems and here's a link of links to the Roadways http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Second_Life_Road_Network_Directory Many Rez zones are marked in various ways (depending on the Continent) Have fun and enjoy driving and exploring Mainland ♥
  9. 😄 It would take a long time to derender and blacklist thousands of objects... not the way I’d choose to spend my precious time in SL! 😁
  10. Search MP for Couples Bike? I have a rezzer out for one at my Camper in Red Bluff and I think it's one of the best ways to explore in SL ♥
  11. I love your vehicles ZZ, especially the ones with rezzers! Your vehicles (especially the station wagon) are always so much fun! HUGS ZZ ♥♥♥
  12. I think we can determine if something we own is using a lot of script resources by using About Land and click Script Info button in lower left corner. This will only work if you are the owner of the land, I think, but if something is unusually heavy compared to others in the list, I find a better alternative something, if possible. ♥
  13. I think I discovered an easy way I found by accident to identify temp-rez (over and over every few seconds) using Firestorm is to "derender and blacklist". If a new one appears, it must be an over-and-over temp rezz "bad" variety, I think?
  14. Maybe the system 'knows' it has already informed an IP address and doesn't want to bombard each account on the same IP address with the same message?
  15. I've always felt like Bellisseria is not only Mainland, but Premium Mainland, setting a wonderful example of the value of a Covenant to guide Residents new to the Premium upgrade (as to what owning your very own bit of SL feels like) plus a wonderful example of open access for explorers and vehicle users while still allowing a form of security for those who feel it is important to them. Bellisseria can be both a starter community as well as a retirement community. I've learned so much living close to the wealth of experience and advice of 'oldbies' and the curiosity and limitless ideas and questions from the 'Noobs' also ♥ Bellisseria is the crown jewel of SL (at least until Super Premium Bellisseria - or whatever it may be named - is revealed) and I hope it will eventually connect all the major Mainland Continents together. Whatever happens... I think it will be full of good surprises! 💯
  16. I got a mental picture of myself trying to de-render a swarm of bees which was someone's Security system on Mainland... and I was just running away as fast as I could go, lol I think de-render is in Firestorm, but not a feature in the SL Viewer. I'm not sure about other Viewers. ♥
  17. Maybe a tandem bicycle model or a double side-by-side bicycle or tricycle design would work for the camper/seaside areas?
  18. I hope they can find a way to make it so ♥ The Balloon Tour idea sounds great also! There is a small tour which departs the SS Galaxy and it would be lovely to have that one extended if it's possible to do. Great for taking pictures in a balloon also. The views are just wonderful!
  19. I think @Simon Linden coined a term for that phenomenon. A group of Lindens can be referred to as a Lag of Lindens ;D 😆🤣😂
  20. One of the tours goes from western Corsica south across the sea to northern Nautilus Continents ..and the pods themselves change to terrain appropriate vehicles while the riders remain still sitting! I've not ridden this Tour since the new Region Crossing developments... but now I really think I need to do that today! It was a wonderful long tour, and never crashed while we rode even before the region crossing improvements, although we did some interesting 'maneuvers' over a few of the Regions Crossings, lol Even then, I was impressed how well the pods did carrying 2 passengers. Now I imagine it will be a lot smoother since the Whoosh! news !
  21. I think that type of sign would need to be AR’d and let Governance decide if it’s in good fun or has ulterior motives?
  22. They are phantom, but idk about the physics. They actually use a surprisingly small amount of resources but perhaps there was another reason they were deemed not possible to run in Bellisseria. They scripts can be purchased on MP (so purchasers can make their own pod routes... but these might be only for use on private land.
  23. The Yavascripts are already in Bellisseria operating the Water Taxi near the Fairgrounds. If I remember, there's no way to have them on the roads in Bellisseria (at the time they were first suggested and looked into by the LDPW)The Yavascripts are already in Bellisseria operating the Water Taxi near the Fairgrounds. If I remember, there's no way to have them on the roads in Bellisseria (at the time they were first suggested and looked into by the LDPW) I'll edit & add the link if I can find it. I think was in SSP thread, perhaps.
