  1. Looking for neighbors who likes concrete jungles at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Applewood/37/216/49 Not advertising to rent or sell, just looking for land owner who wants to run a joint community next to mine.
  2. DMCA without warning, if you warn them first they will take it down or change the content or DMCA you first.
  3. I am here to watch people not agree on each other
  4. Aeros 'male bits' A stark contrast to IMVU's ED problem
  5. 1. The cheapest way to get more parcels is to make alts, sub them all to premium and donate their 512m2 allowance to your land holding group. Group holds 10% more than individuals, and you can feed the sitpend back to your main account at the end of each year, most of the times you lose only $5 in value. In other words, you spend just $5 to hold 512 m2 for the course of a year. Do keep in mind your $75 will be in a perpetual cycle of unavailability, so only do this if you have cash ready. On the up side, you can pull out anytime and the net balance is near zero sum. 2. Group ownership wins outright Individual ownership - No benefits whatsoever - apart from being simple Group holding, gives you 10% more holding power, but if you do not manage it carefully you will most likely have an event where you juggle lands incorrectly and make everything disappear. Group holding land beats individual ownership by far, but you need to continue to develop group management knowledge even if it's just you and your alts in the group. 3. The region The region boundry has a really thick boarder, right click on the land and select "edit terrain" and it will give itself away.
  6. I wouldn't say that's an impossible price. I charge flat price of 1L/2 prims across all land because some money beats no money, and if you populate the place people don't tend to move as often. I don't like micromanaging, plus it's just side cash anyway, any decent marketplace listing beats rental by far.
  7. Auctions: Just snipe the auction at the last 5 minutes I woke up at 3 am to snipe an auction before. it's important that you do not bid early so it does not alert your competition. Also have a set expense and don't lose yourself in thrill of the hunt like ebay goers. Mainland usually falls under L$1 per sqm, so unless you are really really keen on the land, don't break your back on it. LL CAN sell to you directly as I have a small city across two sims, but keep in mind direct sale is always L$1 per sqm, so not the best deals out there. However, direct sales is very good for strategic acquisition, especially if you surround a particular area, LL will sell it to you directly as it provides freedom of movement. You can request for auction too, but tbh, $L1000 is little to pay to complete the big picture. The more land you hold near that particular area, the more likely LL will provide a direct sale. I have only been refused direct sale once, can't remember exactly why but the land is mine now anyway. Have a look around here I can broker any nearby land to you at any size you want, at break even if you are keen.

  10. What does associate listing do compared to create new listing when you copy an item folder to the marketplace folder?
  11. Nvm figured it out, I just didnt toggle the group on and off to see the changes
  12. Hi all, Been trying to stop tenants from changing land build/object entry/script permissions, I have tried all the different options but it doesn't seem to stop people from changing the land permissions. The parcels are on mainland and deeded to group, I have disabled all parcel related options and also ability to configure objects deeded to group but they still can change it
  13. I am happy as long as the tenant rez inside their rented area and not obstruct public access lol. No issues so far
  14. Last two units remaining - any rental over 1 week will get another week FREE to allow you to settle in
  15. What's this extra prim thing I want to look into it
  16. It's called For Sale By Owner, usually fueled with banters more than trade. Most memorable one was the review by a buyer after visiting a sim for sale "I have visited the place NOTE: The parcel is a landlocked, brown and barren hilltop"
  17. Neon light skyscrapers ... hey that's me
  18. Pack your group with your alts, sub them all to premium and donate their 512. Group holding creates 10% bonus holding power, selling their sitpend at end of cycle will recoup 90-95% of the cost.
  19. Super tall walls do not really break the TOS of it's on his land, if he anchors, or have parts sticking over, it does create an issue. Build a taller wall and put a MAGA flag on top! I had same issue once, and I outlasted the neighbour by building a whole city next to him his computer couldn't handle it, he had to move to the other side of the sim. Didn't break TOS ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's my land.
  20. Is it physically over the land boundary or just a super tall wall? And I would check your land permission as well, if you have entry permissions on, they can rez stuff and move it across.
  21. Why is that the case? Consider most people do one of the following 1. Box themselves in on the ground 2. Skybox 3. Build some monstrosity that hurts the eye
  22. I got a 80% tenanted city you can have a look, happy to add in a coffee shop for you somewhere! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Glaurung/251/166/63
