  1. Marketplace weights about 90% and gets pretty handsome sales daily. I have some retail objects laid across points of interest in world but those generate no more than 10% of total sales. Gachas do roll in whale cash but I prefer to let people have better items, at better quality at better price vs existing products. I simply go around look for overpriced, badly optimized products and make a better and cheaper one. There are plenty, especially something with a lot of bad review is a cash cow since you know there are demands and those demands were not properly met.
  2. If you are premium you are also eligible for FREE residency if you donate your land tiers to group !
  3. Probably copied a la carte from whichever game it ripped from
  4. "B-but I want them to see my 12000 vertices mesh from two sims away !" - Every new mesher who doesn't care about optimization
  5. I never give my alts anything apart from system presets lol. MP requires no bot to service ?
  6. If you want to see abandoned, come to Jeojeot. The pros? You can literally buy out a whole sim unobstructed that's how empty it is.
  7. No kidding, I have met a lot of people who do not know they have 512 sqm of free land lol
  8. You mean leasing them for others to rent? Just buy casperlet and put it up for rent on the forums. You are looking at 0.5L per prim really so if you pay anyone else you will just get bled dry. But if you are keen I can do it for 10% cut on profits
  9. They might go over the limit on purpose if you have snowflakes dropping lol
  10. For me under 50 I can setup a whole room with things I ever need, an empty lot maybe 100LI, just want to see how much LI people use to build their own place vs renting an existing room building?
  11. It's more of a side cash than real business. Any decent marketplace product will out perform rentals. Having said that, marketplace does take a bit of cunning and research. I still remember someone telling me "You can't compete with other shops they have been here for x years", now I am rolling in enough dispensable cash from my meshing hobby.

  13. As per topic, apart from being able to drive on the road occasionally and not becoming landlocked. Maybe it's just where my city sits but the neighbours seem to abandon more often than expand.
  14. Bugger, guess I have to buy off the coast slowly then
  15. From personal experience, I can tell you, they turn a blind eye on both. Having said that, all the alts I have have premium sub for land ownership purpose so that might play part into it
  16. I will not buy no mod, personally, I think not being able to resize something is the biggest drawback, especially furnitures. I am not that into immersion to a degree of which you cannot resize a rock wall to make it smaller. No copy is almost always no go, unless it's a clothing item. Everything I make is copy/mod, tons of sales, and it imposes less creative limits on people.
  17. I have been looking into getting a private region setup right next to mainland, however the current CLPP (Community Land Partnership Program) requires a minimum holding of 10 regions, while I plan to have more than just one private region, having 10 regions setup all at once is kinda ludicrous, I mean, not everyone wants to run 655,350 sqm of land, even the more well known mutli region cities ie Insilico is only 4 sims in size. Nothing against the fees included but I think the technical requirement aspect of it is out of scale, it's still living in the 2000's era where land is scarce, should LL lower the bar in terms of minimum regions required?
  18. FOR RENT - CAPSULE HOTEL BEDS Applewood City Don't like decorating? Only need a temporary place to stay? Try out the Lambada Capsule Hotel! Only 10L a week gets you a bed, 20 prims allowance and a communal rez space! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Applewood/132/170/48
  19. Being the bourgeois by owning majority of the neighbourhood?
  20. Don't think you actually need to be billionaire in a real sense, if you do your tax right you should claim quite a bit of tax back considering US tax laws allows more deductions in the big money categories. The influx of sales is likely from tax refunds post financial year. Most of the tax reduction strategies are actually easier to perform and provides more benefit at five figure income level, particularly ones involving offshore entities, but I will not go into that topic. I get about $4000-5000 back on tax every financial year in Australia. If I could go by the US tax rules I can probably claim twice as much, in Australia you can notice the same trend of people spending every dollar of their tax refund around July as well.
