  2. i tried but cant squish them flat like i do in pose mode. I can use S+ Y to squish flat in pose mode not in edit mode in 2.92 what do i change?

Yes but this does not answer how to get the pose back into edit mode you can go the other way why not back as you cant edit bones flat in edit mode only in pose mode as they interface with mesh they need to be correct size to match the mesh they are influencing . When there is more than one piece of mesh in area it needs to be accurate. If i make these changes how can i get them into edit mode?
  4. Alot has changed wth lara in last release when it sed to use inly OMEGA System Relay . Lara now has a specific layer for tatoos Maitreya Mesh Body - Lara V5.2 Tattoo Layer if you want the old way it worked use BoM
  5. I still cant save pose back to Edit @Quarrel Kukulcan@Q LindenThere doesnt seem a way I can find to do this I really dont know why. Pose an Object are updated and Edit is left completely wrong is this a bug in blender , if so are they adressing it ?

Its a mystery or secret how to reset a edit to a POSE? Now both of these seem a cludge DISCUSS
  9. Yes @Quarrel Kukulcan I am aware its a blender issue. The armature is so frustratng is is really rubbish the WSWIG designs call for replication in each window for consistansy Edit Window does not reflect POSE they are both stupidly different editing on one does not change the other on the same model in the same open document this is crazy who is designing this stuff . Its the same model same bone how can it be differant orientation and size . SL groups suggest using rest position but this is no proper answer as they do not map over with a lot f editing and is really not what this was implemented for . They do not map in any direction in 2.912 on my model and is dis-jointed and un joined up approach . Its causing a real headache positioning teath and smaller bones . If I slim bones in pose mode they are the same thick bones as they was in edit mode . The edit mode ones cannot be flattented on y axis the same as in POSE mode it just doesnt affect them at all. If they mapped the POSE would be same as EDIT you would be able to pose as you now can . But currently the two veiws are not conected in a intelegent manner. DISCUSS
  10. I am frustratd with Blender 2.912 its pretty cool except for rigging . The main problem is edits to bones in edit mode dont reflect to the same change in Pose mode and visa versa . This is really frustrating and you have to know secret commands to reset this pose as a default pose and all this stupid stuff that it was really not meant for this use in blender . Why cant the edits you do in either before adding weights move accross TO THE OTHER MODE ITS EXTREEMLY SILLY . This becmes a problem when your moving bone tails in edit and require a thin bone for teath you cant prioperly scale he bone in edit mode like you can in pose mode . I have not found out why not. You then end up with two completely differant bone positions to wahats in POSE and EDIT mode cant the blender team fix this? DISCUSS
  11. @Chastity77 Hi You don't need Photoshop Gimp Image Processor is free to download and very powerful pain program https://www.gimp.org/downloads/ It has a lot of plugins and a lot of support for using it on Google and Youtube Personally I prefer it to photoshop. Full perms usually depends on the note card licensing restrictions you will find al the information in here some times called TOS this informs you off distribution restrictions and if .Collada Digital Asset Exchange file (.dae suffix) or anything else is available in the kit . Personally I don't like DEV kits they have to much control of use you can find model downloads on wikipedia Hugs D X
  12. @Glaznah Gassner Hello, I am also experiencing problems with rigged mesh using Bento Angel Armature . There was a lot of hurdles to overcome . I noticed that bones was getting copied o al links this is a problem as it exceeds the import Size and these need to be deleted are you perhaps deleting needed bones ? Do you have any import warning in your upload log . Turn on Shh detail logging and check what is going on . I currently have an animation issue based on the blender animation system which is defaulting to reset position . When I export animation this is effecting the mesh as the only bones being sent rotational information are changes from the reset position. This is new in 2.9.3.2 but switching back to PoseLib looses all animations there is a new option under avatar to change this . I have not worked out how to convert back to poseLib and i think this maybe causing your problems too As my dragon falls to ground like Jelly as it has no bones in the rest of the mesh . Hugs D.

Nope it would not be up to the viewer settings the objects contain their own upload LOD specifics in regard to visibility at different distances in three bands which can be configured currently with a fourth the rate given in the model built . Personally the removal of complex tasks options is damaging importability , I have a mesh dragon that i struggled to get uploaded with the changes implemented in 6.9.3.2 because some one thought it was good to remove crucial upload and export problems or rename them . I believe your options will do much the same and are not required and only offer changes to new people learning the rest of us have already been made familiar with how to get our upload's to look visually at the lowest LOD settings Hugs D
  15. hi i am having problems with compatibility of blender and second life. I have a beautiful dragon animated badly( yes i know its my first animation) but the one in blender looks reasonable and one in second life looks completely different what Am i doing wrong ? There seems to be no export option to export all bones and the model as shown uses rest position: Also when i take it of of this it drops the animation sequence I had placed in . It seems i need to convert from the rest position to pose position any ideas please?

I changed over front feet to legs but it still ends up as a crumpled up mesh bag i don't know what I am doing wrong it doesn't appear the default pose is exported under weight mode i dont understand why not but someone showed me there export which is total different settings Rear legs moved away

  20. I everyone . I have to wonder if this problem is because I am using rear legs on bento angel avatar armature i.e: mHindLimbsRoot, mHindLimbLeft1, mHindLimbLeft2, mHindLimbLeft3, mHindLimbLeft4 in blender to use for legs and not mHipLeft, mKneeleft, mAnkleLeft, mFootLeft, mToeLeft?

  22. I checked my model weight and after using automatic weights my mesh was all black is this correct as it looks wrong ?
  23. it certainly is a nice idea FASTMESH , LIGHTMESH what ever you want to call it, but how is this going to cater for different visual requirements of items you build i.e. some mesh items do not require visibility at distance but some do. This methods outlined would not cater for these models . Currently am having to pay for all mesh upload as the beta sites don't work for testing . This is expensive and has been down more than six months to a year.
  24. @ChinReyyour Lod settings are all defaulted to file size this is why your import has high LOD according to the screen you posted . The first box nearest the bottom lowest is critical get this under 50 it will help tweak the others
