If I remember correctly we were let in for a look a few hours before the release and the vics were on the landpage for about 4 days.

What have you been doing to prepare for the move to the log home

You can wait and check out the landscaping when they release and decide then. With the amounts they are releasing they should be available for a few days. -

I've been looking for BBq's on the MP becasue the log homes just scream "BBQ PARTYYYYY!!!!!" -
One more tip. Make sure you snap your vertices to pixels on the UV map.

I can give you some general tips to prevent ugly edges when baking textures. - Make sure that straight lines are also straight on your UV map. - Make sure you bake your texture with a margin of at least 6 pixels - Use a separate model for your texture baking that includes extra geometry where edges meet (e.g. where the corner edge of the door meets the doorframe) to prevent the bleeding of dark shadows.

Patch showed up at our pre-reveal party earlier and said something that suggests to me we may be having a little more today then just a preview. Patch Linden: It's gonna be a busy morning right before and into the launch.... I'll be on Lab Gab initially as everything starts to go out though I could of course be interpreting it wrong, but that sounds like there will be an actual release today...

Linden Homes Photo Thread LIVE @ The Expo
Christhiana replied to Nikki Mathieson's topic in Linden Homes
Patch said this earlier in the Bellisseria Citizens chat: [10:58] Patch Linden: I've dropped hints all over the place, including one in a region, I guess they're just so good that you can't figure them out So I guess we missed numerous clues and should start looking around -

Will we see a a new LH theme the 13th February?
Christhiana replied to Marianne Little's topic in Linden Homes
I heard that Patch has mentioned the reveal will not be at the start of the expo but somewhere during the course of the expo. -
Yes, something like that When in inventory the prim is in superposition and thus has every possible shape until it's rezzed and observed inworld causing it's wave function to collapse.
-
Yes, that's my guess as well.
-
That map tile looks to be from the victorian reveal last Christmas. It's probaby in the same location.
-
Interesting concept. That would take some genious scripting and would be quite a strain on the simulator. It would make for an interesting showcase, but I don't see any practical use for it in SL.

While were on the subject of physics…. Do you think a prim has no defined shape and is in superposition until it's rezzed?
