Imagine this being implemented in SL: Someone said your avatar's crap? Nevermind typing an FU, just give it to them! Waving, pointing, rocking out, picking your nose, picking your friend's nose, scratching your butt, scratching your friend's butt! All accomplished without the need of clicking and typing.

Would be nice if we had such a thing on the SL marketplace. Ahh who am I kidding - I bought two mesh xenomorph avatars that were shameless rips from a game.

Sometimes people like to rez naked in welcome areas with enormous flexi dicks attached to them. There's a few comments initally and then people stop giving a toss.

When you said "realism" I thought you meant fancier graphics or something, not Grand Theft Auto-esque gameplay.

Standing around listening to people bicker over voice loses its lulz after a while. Wandering around pretty sims with nothing to actually do loses its appeal after a while. I could make stuff but you know, that would require time and devotion and most of us have fulltime jobs. So yeah I agree, I have these periods where I'll log in, maybe buy a new avatar then stand around in a sim listening to people talk about mundane crap or shout at eachother while having an argument that goes around in circles. I haven't logged in for months again.

Can you use a hex editor to view textures? Do those numbers and letters represent all the colours that make up the image?

I used to do it for the same reason until GL intercept stopped working (it was the only program I trusted). I don't see anything wrong with it personally just so long as you don't resell the textures as your own. As for those of you getting your panties in a twist - C'mon, how many of you have never downloaded music files?

Meh. Nothing too exciting, if you ask me.

I blame lack of choice in the marketplace. With my avatars, even if they're not the same shape as me wearing "sexy" clothing makes me feel like I'm lying to myself. I tried looking for some female viking clothes that weren't skimpy and was disappointed by the selection; I think I only came across three that didn't look like a Nordic bikini. Sometimes I've been tempted to buy male clothing since it tends to be a lot less revealing.

Yay, I'll get to leave work early tommorrow.
