  1. Howdy, Toy! I did the survey earlier this morning. I hope something gets done about all this ridiculous TOS crap!
  2. Howdy, Fox Are you trying to "unphantom" the entire linkset at once? In other words; you've unlinked the linkset from the rest of the house, and then you go into edit mode on the entire set and try to untick the phantom box from there? If so, I don't believe that will work. I'm almost positive you're going to have to untick each prims box individually. Go into edit mode on the linkset, click "Edit Linked Parts," click on the first prim, and then untick the phantom box. Then click the next prim, and so on. Yeah, I know, it's a pain in the youknowwhat, but that's the only way that will work so far as *I* know. Maybe there's a trick I'm not aware of and someone will be along to educate us both. Good luck!
  3. Howdy, Miss Catnip! Magic Boxes were phased out a loooong time ago. You will have to use the "Merchant Outbox" to upload your cats. That is, if they aren't "no copy" items to YOU. If they ARE no copy to you, I would go to the old xstreet site, delete the magic box from the list, then reset your magic box inworld. That might solve the problem.
  4. Spica Inventor wrote: "They will always be there". What is LL's reason? ;-) Heheh...now THAT part, I have no idea. I wish I could change their minds about it, but, unfortunately, I don't have any influence with them.

Is there a 'laughing hysterically' emoticon here? If only we had such a useful feature :matte-motes-frown: LOL! I meant the downloaded CSV files. I would LOVE that feature on the Top Searched and Top Selling reports too!
  6. Good mornin, Maxx. As far as *I* know, there's no way to remove those listings permanently from your reports. They will always be there. If you change the date ranges of your reports, only the items which sold during that time (or searched during that time) will show up. But removing them...no.
  7. I'm doing just fine, thank you! I hope you are too, my dear.
  8. What it looks like to me, Suspiria, is that the avatar is wearing the wrong size of the mesh top, for her body shape. It looks like she's wearing the small size, and she needs to be wearing the medium. What probably happened is that she got everything looking good when she first purchased that top and decided that she needed the medium size. Then, this time, she accidently clicked on the small size and wore it instead, and didn't realize it. That would account for the medium size alpha layer, and the ability to see through her above the top of her top. One thing I've learned about SL avatars is that not everybody swings their camera around to check themselves before they teleport out of their house to do other things. I've had to tell many guys over the years that their tallywhacker is hangin out because they forgot to turn it off, or detach it. LOL! Same thing here. She just wore the wrong size. At least that's what it looks like to ME.
  9. Howdy, Miss Czari! *bounces up and down in excitement!* Thank you for posting that link to Darrius' How-To. I couldn't find it to save my danged life! :smileyvery-happy:
  10. Phoenix/Pheora, You are trying to sell items which are limited quantity (Meeroo items, etc.) This means that you only have 1 to sell, and once you do...it will disappear from your inventory. At this time, you can NOT sell limited quantity items through direct delivery. You will have to use a magic box again just for the items that you do not have Copy permissions. Set out your magic box again and make sure that ONLY items which are No Copy (to YOU) are in it. If you are putting out the same magic box you had out before, the items that were in it (including your Meeroo items), will still be there. Once you have your magic box back out, go to your Merchant Homepage and sync it with your magic box. Then, relist your items. Linden Lab is currently working on getting the outbox to work with limited quantity items. Until then, your magic box will have to stay out and in use for your limited quantity items to be sold on the marketplace.
  11. I've had that message a couple of times too, Perrie. What I do (and it solves it every time) is to go in and delete the texture cache folder in Users > [Your computer user name] > AppData > Local > Firestorm. I can tell when that folder is getting full when "Loading Texture Cache..." stays up for a while when I'm starting Firestorm. It's always happened to me in crowded clubs as well. That folder is huge, by the way. I've seen it up over 100,000 textures! Delete it. Problem goes away immediately. Because the folder contains so many items, it takes the system a little while to get it deleted. Go get some coffee. Do something else for a while and then come back to your computer. Restart your viewer, log on, and you should be fine. Let me know if lowering your texture memory buffer works for you. One last note...when I've deleted that folder, textures load a lot faster for me.
  12. Rya Nitely wrote: Stop stressing and turn on adblock. What you don't know won't hurt you - this is probably very true in this case. I don't see these ads - all is as usual. My store looks as pretty as ever. I still get sales and that's all that matters Heh...Rya. I had adblock plus turned on before so I didn't see them, and then thought about other merchants ads on MY store and product pages and decided to turn it off so I could see when/if that ever happened so I could raise hell!
  13. Thank you, Miss Trinity. I understand what's going on now. I agree with you that it's disgusting for another merchants ads to appear on our store and product pages. Something needs to be done about it!
  14. Ciaran Laval wrote: Tribe aren't working with LL on this so they must be using Google ads to target the website the same way the breedables guys are. Ah, ok! Thank you, Ciaran! I didn't think I'd seen an announcement that ads were now open to we Merchants, and then all of a sudden KA-WHAM! here's an ad on my store page.
  15. Today, I was checking my store page and there was a banner ad on the right side for Tribe Islands. It was advertising land for sale and a link to "Teleport Now." So, I'm assuming that the banner ads are now open for us Merchants. And already, there's a teleport link to take my customers out of my store. Great...just great. Just what I thought. :smileymad:
  16. Good mornin, Miss Mo Are you getting some kind of error message when you try to activate them? I can't tell from your description exactly what is going on. Could you provide us with some more information, please? What is happening when you try to activate them? Which bug?
  17. Kenbro Utu wrote: <snip> It is currently sitting at 2,031,573 on my search. Add another 2,000. It's at 2,033,708 as of 5:49am CDT.
  18. Howdy, Edfred It DOES state that. "...Unpacked and ready to use." What they mean by this is that a customer does not have to have land or a sandbox to rez a box to unpack it. That's all.
  19. Mornin, Miss Lily One thing you have to make sure you do is name the folders "or boxes" exactly the same as the magic box listings for the system to automatically associate the new with the old. If you've deleted the magic boxes from the old Xstreet site, did you click "Sync Marketplace with Magic boxes" at the top of your inventory screen? That should make all the old listings disappear from your marketplace inventory. Other than that, you'll just have to wait for the Lab to get to your ticket and help you out. Maybe someone who has had the same problem will be along later with an answer I'm not aware of. Good luck!
  20. Deja Letov wrote: <snip> I can totally see how this will become a problem with merchants. My ad showed up not only when I searched for furniture, but also when I went to the "store" home page of anyone selling what I do, especially niche keywrods like "gothic furniture" which is what I make and is one of the keywords I listed for my ad. So....my ad was at the very top of the page of a competitors store, in fact, several competitors store. In my opinion that's kinda jacked up and honestly would tick me right the heck off as a merchant if you're at my store but SL is promoting my competitor. <snip> __________________________________________________________________________________________ /me gets instantly angry! I KNEW this would happen! I use "AdBlocker Plus," so I don't see the ads, but, I'm gonna turn it off for SL so I can see when/if some other merchants ad appears at the top of MY store! I don't want a competitors ad at the top of my store page! That's ridiculous, unfair and unjust. :smileymad:
  21. Cerise Sorbet wrote: Camera constraints may be making the person's camera go bouncy. This is a common problem when moving inside hollow objects, mesh or not. And *ding* this is exactly what I think now too. I walked through, a few mintues ago, a couple of Pam's houses and had no issues. But then, I have all constraints turned off. So, I think this is probably his issue as well. Good call, Cerise!
  22. Drunken avi? *laughs* That's a new one on ME, Miss Pamela. I've been through mesh buildings and had no issues and I use Firestorm and have for a long time. I don't have a clue what he's talkin about.
  23. "...I wonder if they just put it out there to be the first? " My guess is yes, that's what they did.
  24. I marveled at the proportions also, Miss Penny. I've tried hard to get my avatar proportioned as closely as I can to what a real person looks like. I was afraid that none of the clothes we have available now and since forever would work with a mesh avatar. Thanks for your post!
  25. I just did a search for "Male Mesh Avatar" on the marketplace to see where that kind of avatar is going, and I was/am amazed that most all of them I see are grossly over muscled, or look poorly shaped. Of course, they are all rigged mesh so you can't edit them to suit. Can you even wear old style system clothes with them? My guess is no. I've begun wearing mostly mesh clothes and so I'm assuming you CAN wear those, but, what if the sizes won't fit you? Does the alpha layers hide parts of mesh avatars like they do the standard SL avatar mesh? I don't know. I will say that all of the hands and feet I've seen on mesh avatars look ever so much better than the standard mesh ones do. OK, I know that this kind of avatar is in its infancy and that there will be much better ones as more designers/makers get into making mesh avatars. But the ones that are out there now leave much to be desired. To the mash makers: Can we have some "regular" shaped avatars, please? I don't want to be a hulk. I wanna be regular guy that looks normal. Thank you!
