  6. sunshine Juneberry wrote: What really gets me though is LL's response is that this is between me and the seller. They said i can write a review of the product, but all the seller has to do is remove the listing and then relist it and there wont be any bad review. I know how you feel. If the seller removes and relists it to wipe out bad reviews, flag it for Disallowed Listing Practices >> Item Was Disabled and Relisted. sunshine Juneberry wrote: I've reopened my case like 3 times and i get the same response, LL does not get involved in L$ disputes between sellers and buyers and that i have to continue to try to contact seller. All the seller has to do is mute me and its problem solved...and i;m out 1000 L$ and not a thing I can do about it. It's ridiculous!! Someone can blatantly scam on MP. They dont need any real product, dont need to use their real name, they can scam away anonymously with no overhead, no oversight, no real product, and no consequences. Hence buyer beware like stated in https://secondlife.com/corporate/cs.php I think LL should make that policy prominently displayed in the marketplace like on every page of the listings.
  7. Here is a nice tutorial on how to create a photo-sourced skin: http://forums-archive.secondlife.com/109/e1/246059/1.html
  8. Isn't there a chance they were actually offline and replying to your offline IM via e-mail?
  9. Yep, you have to edit each item to change the associated object to the ones you newly uploaded that are not in a box. Once you migrated your products from magic boxes to DD, automatic association doesn't work any more. After you changed associated objects, the old ones that are packed in a box are moved to Unassociated inventory items section, then you can delete them using the bulk deletion feature.
  10. You can file a support case https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ . Choose Marketplace >> General marketplace issues from the drop down list and describe your issue in details.
  11. http://www.mermaiddiaries.com/2007/06/day-279-sculpted-prims-tutorial-part-4.html I use a UV texture map like like the one you see in above blog post. ETA: Or I'd make a prim for the logo only and attach it to the cap.
  12. Here is a JIRA : https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4600 There are some workarounds mentioned, so hopefully you could find a fix for you.
  13. Start IM with the account to have an IM window with him/her and drop your items you want to transfer to him/her from your inventory into the IM window.
  14. For the record, on DD you have to upload the whole folder again, go to the MP website, edit the listing to change its associated object to the newly uploaded one.
  15. Hermione Lefevre wrote: Is it greed or some other reason? What permissions to set on a product depends on the item aside from the sellers' taste. As to furniture, for example the same bed can be placed in many rooms if the purchaser has many rooms in their house or if they are in rental house business, so if it is copy/no trans, the seller may lose some business opportunity. The same goes for dance animations. The purchaser can put it into many dance balls which are equipped in their clubs, halls, parks, open spaces and such if it's copy/no trans, hence they usually offer copiable animations for a higher price.
  17. JOMO These skins in the pic are the darkest tone and the least muscular. They have 5 or 6 skin tones and 3 grades of muscular development for each skin line. A shape included. You can modify it to your taste.
  18. If you post a picture of what you are trying to make your avatar look like, someone might be able to help you find them.

  20. MasoDevotina wrote: What really annoys me is that I am not able to choose related products, as soon as I open that link nothing more happens. Maybe you can be a little more specific here. Do you mean no suggestions show up when you put in something in the search field of the pop-up window which appears when you press the Add related item button? If you have not created listings for the items you are trying to add as related items yet, they don't show up.

  24. If you are still using magic boxes for delivery, go to the magic box status page (https://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=adminservers ), remove the magic boxes from the registered servers list, go in world to reset the magic boxes, go back to MP website -->> manage listing page and press Sync button on the upper right corner, then refresh the page. The web site should start communicating with the magic boxes again.
