  1. Czari Zenovka wrote: As a related question to the OP, are you using Direct Delivery? If so, not having used it myself yet, I would also like to know how to change something within a boxed product, ie. a notecard with updated info. From what I've read on the forums about DD, to do so one would put the box with the updated info into the Merchant Outbox folder then associate it with the MP listing. If that is what the OP is doing and provided it is done in that manner, why would it keep getting flagged for replacing an existing item? Yes, that's what you have to do when you want to replace something within a product. Instead the OP deleted the first listings and remade the new ones that is why they get removed repeatedly by LL. So like Alicia suggested, clarifying the reason for the relisting might help or not. Who knows...
  2. If you go for photo sourcing, here is a nice tutorial on how to create a photo-sourced skin: http://forums-archive.secondlife.com/109/e1/246059/1.html which help you understand how to make the hair. Otherwise you could just draw the hair, use hair brushes, some filters to mimic hair strands and so on.
  3. Yes, I'm using Tuty's boys AO. I think the normal walk is pretty much realistic and I'm happy with also the stand animations. Anyway you can try each animation in the AO at their inworld store, so you should try them. Also like the previous poster said, you may want to try also Oracul. Very good price and quality.
  4. And to exchange your linden dollars into USD you don't have to go premium, but like Amethyst said you need to add an acceptable payment method to your account. For further information check the following link out. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Billing/ta-p/700037
  5. There is a bug affecting some people. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4600 On that JIRA you may be able to find a solution for you. If not, add your comment on it, vote and watch.
  6. Sure, I remember. This thread: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Merchants/Enhancements-Gone-Berserk/td-p/1478533
  7. You don't have to rent land to host your magicbox anymore. Read http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Selling-in-the-Marketplace/ta-p/700193 to learn how to start selling on the marketplace.
  8. When I was reading inworld merchant group chat yesterday, someone asked if anyone else was having the same problem as theirs, that is their subscriptions for the listing enhancements haven't been charged for a while, so I checked mine and noticed I've not been charged since Aug 10. You might want to check yours. I searched for a JIRA and found this one out: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4638
  9. Suki Hirano wrote: And aren't these tags supposed to be moderated by LL or something to prevent abuse? Because I have a few items that I've placed in SLIGHTLY different categories (for example furniture instead of home and garden) and LL removed my listings. Yet here I am searching for a pair of white gloves on marketplace, I put the search term "gloves", and 99% of the search results under apparel -> women has absolutely nothing to do with gloves, wtf? I get scarves, coats, boots, hairs, skins, naughty stuff, lingerie, jewelry, anything BUT gloves. Is it merchants abusing the tags system and putting anything the can think of within the 100 character limit or just the marketplace search engine going haywire? LL doesn't moderate that, They are not proactive in general. So they encourage us users to flag such listings about which the sellers may be abusing the listing guidelines (https://marketplace.secondlife.com/listing_guidelines). The product review team reviews the flagged listings and decides if they should be removed or not.
  10. Yep, sounds like you have a connection issue. Shut down your computer, try resetting your modem/router and see if that helps. Also you can check your connection speed and quality. http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_speedtest
  11. FIle a support ticket https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ (Choose Marketplace >> General Marketplace Issues and ask them what you can do to list it )
  12. There is no way to do that. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4232
  13. Yeah, the sim my house is palced is being affected by this. I noticed some abnormality soon after the rolling restart 10 days ago. I couldn't tp out of or in my home, couldn't change my outfit, couldn't rez, crashed every 15 mins and what not, so i searched these forums and found that JIRA. Thanks to some comments on that JIRA, I found a way around to not crash or to tp by setting the draw distance to 32m.
  14. So they say "successfully updated" but those 2 listings still remain Unlisted or Unavailable? Not sure if it works, but try clearing the browser cache, or try another browser if you are on IE cuase IE is known to be imcompatible with SL website. As a last resort, you could file a support case: https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/
  15. You can add your comment to answeres' posts using the permalink at the bottom of their posts. Don't you get any message in red after pressing update button on the listings? If the system find something improper in your listings, that won't let you list it.
  16. Den-Dou closed their store last September.
  17. Here is a JIRA about that feature request: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-1247
  18. Arielle Simondsen wrote: maybe I'll hear something back from my ticket too and get some insight as to why some in the category are fine and others aren't. I would think a grass is a grass and a sand is a sand and the textures would go to the same category! Like Aurelia said, those textures should fall under Building Components - Textures, so you may want to correct the category for the ones that were not flagged this time as well. As to the apparent randomness of flagging items, It's not like that that's because the product review team considered some were fine and the others weren't but simply because the flagger flagged only the items they came across while they were searching for something in Home and Garden category.
  19. I don't know what a femboy looks like, so these may not be what you are looking for though. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/JOMO-boy-skin-025-DEMO/3796281 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/DEMOS-Zanzo-Kosei-skins-young-male-skins-DEMOS/310539 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/DEMOS-Zanzo-Hyperion-skins-new-for-2012-DEMOS/2874989 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/DEMOS-Zanzo-Republic-skins-fresh-new-skins-for-men-DEMOS/3811362 Basically they are less muscular skins with a pretty Asian face.
  20. Very young boys have very narrow shoulders and thin body, so it's inevitable.
  21. If you are using an AO, check if it has enable/disable typing buttons in the menu.
  22. Check your order history here (https://marketplace.secondlife.com/orders) and file a support case (https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/). Select Marketplace >> Failed Marketplace Delivery from the dropdown list and fill in the required field. Hope you can get the missing purchase. For the future, it's safer to buy items one by one without using the shopping cart.
  23. I too have been having tp issue since last week's roll out and found this JIRA : https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-8124 My house is on RC LeTigre and I've been suffering from massive packet loss for some reason. One thing I noticed is when I set the draw distance shortest (32m) I see no packet loss and can tp. So if your issue is for the same reason as I do, setting your draw distance shorter when tping might help.
  24. lilygryffindor wrote: Does a product exist that lets you hide your avi's lips? I have an unmodifiable shape (I love too much to give up) and many beautiful lipstick tattoos I've collected. Unfortunately my "real" lips peek out below the tattooed ones. That has something to do with your skin, not the shape. I've made an eyebrow remover at the request of a customer who wanted to use some eyebrow tattoo layer, so if you ask the creator of your skin, they might meet your request and make a lip concealer for a fee.
