  1. Exploring Paris 1900 - Les Champs Elysees region. Wearing freebie dress found near the Eiffel Tower. In one place there was 'dollarbie' store, everything 1 L$. All clothing very old pre-mesh items for system avatars. There were even necklaces and shoes with *B L I N G* !
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=10&v=7wwmcD0J8N4 Ebbe trying to answer my question a second time from 1:01:36 to 1:03:50 (he crashed two times earlier). My question was: "Are there plans to upgrade the system avatar's mesh to present day standards? And if not, why not?" As you can hear he didn't understand my question properly about the system avatar. Thus he couldn't answer the question. Instead he continued talking about mesh attachments, bodies, heads, etc. Anyway, as everything is rigged to the bones, nothing is rigged to the system body mesh, why would upgrading system avatar's mesh break any existing content? If the UV map was kept intact then the legacy system clothes, skins, tattoos, etc. would still work on the upgraded system mesh body, wouldn't they? They work on mesh bodies, why wouldn't they work on the upgraded system mesh body?
  3. OMG! The misuse of Unicode character is spreading to Marketplace. I found this "decoration", and even more in one MP store: Ƒσя Ɯσмєη: Aναтαя cℓαѕѕιc Aναтαя: Mαιтяєуα Aναтαя: Sℓιηк Aarggh... ...... What next?
  4. Dark blue prim as a background. General lighting colour and lighting range adjusted in photo editor. Nothing else done (except showing a bit of teeth).
  5. The mesh head is Vista animations' Lia bento head. Personally I consider it to be the nicest looking one of the three Vista heads. Lia head's lips look quite normal human lips. On the other hand Vista's Diana and Zoe heads have the "duckish" protruding kind of lips. By the way, the vendor picture in the store does not do justice to Lia head. Actually the Lia head is much nicer looking than in the store vendor picture. I wonder why they used that picture.
  6. It might be that you haven't looked in the right places? There are mesh heads suffering from ugly "duck lip syndrome". But there are also very nice mesh heads. I really did like my system head a lot. Then finally I went to mesh head. I do like the mesh head much more than my system head. It's smooth, it has cute nice animations which bring life to the face. Some sample snapshots below. On the left is my latest appearance with system head, the rest are with my present mesh head - not "butt ugly" I hope. System head can look very beautiful; the main problems are the frozen appearance (no animations) and that prim/mesh eyelashes don't follow the eyelid movement. This is one big problem with all the mesh craziness. When you enter busy place, depending on how many avatars are present, it can take up to 10 or even 15 minutes before all the bits and pieces have found their right places. It happens even with good computer and fast internet connection. What Linden Lab could do? It is totally in their power to implement excellent and beautiful system avatar, if they wanted to. It would greatly simplify things for the users in the long run as there wouldn't be so much need for mesh avatars and mesh heads.
  7. I'm dancing my single dances in a club. Random IM coming from distance: Him: hey Him: couple dance? ( I checked his profile... almost empty, just some groups there...) (After 8 minutes as I didn't reply anything...): Him: seems afk you are (And still after 23 more minutes...): Him: hey can we dance together? I just continued pretending to be afk. Of course that was a bit rude from me, but there was nothing interesting in his approach and profile. But then there was other man who knew how to start IM and how to chat nicely. We had very interesting long discussion and even danced together. Thank you, you saved my day.
  8. While cleaning my inventory, in Objects subfolder named 'Unsorted', I found this (probably precious) item: Object name: Coby's box, created 29 July 2009. Aww... I have no idea at all why I have saved plain default empty box! Anyway, "Everything starts from the box". Maybe I have had some great plans never realized? Some people save mega prims, but I save empty boxes...
  9. Looks like extremely laggy flexi hair. But it's not. It is Stealthic's "Somber" mesh hair. Pretty cool! Comes with texture HUD and styling HUD. Complete avatar (everything mesh) rendering cost (ARC) is 73576. Of which the hair is only 2583. In my observation, Stealthic and eXxEsS are among the top designers who make excellent textures for their mesh hairs.
  10. Vista Lia head. Skin YS&YS. Personally I like the Lia head the most of the Vista's heads. (Diana and Zoe heads have very pouty lips which I'm not fond of.)
  11. Not actually today, but three days ago. At SLB15 DJ Stage North.
  12. Exploring SL15B again. Found this message on the wall inside a house.
  13. SL15B at DJ Stage North as seen with "Ambient Night" Windlight. All light reflections on the floor are dynamic materials effects, not painted on. Very nice effect. The dance floor. The complete build.
  14. SL15B celebrations. At DJ Stage North there are pretty cool and fun dances. Excellent use of materials on the floor. Very nice dynamic light reflections.
  15. But, but... the whole thing should be modifiable. Is it? If not, why not? No mod is no good for various reasons.
  16. Exploring SL15B. Snapshot background: one of the multitude of crystals which are seen all over the SL15B regions. Credits below the picture. Body: Maitreya Lara Head: Vista Lia Skin: YS&YS (on head and body) Hair: eXxEsS - Asha mesh hair Top: Blueberry - Leah Side Ties Skirt Skirt: Blueberry - Leah Top V1 (in the package there is also under boobs version - not shown in the picture) Shoes: -KC- Talea Heels Necklace (upper): MG - Mama Owl with Baby Owlets Necklace (lower): *VB* - Coco necklace (rigged, fits perfectly) Bracelet (left): OXIDE - Arlet bangle Bracelet (right lower): OXIDE - Vivi bracelet Bracelet (right upper): L&B - Swear gay Pride bracelet V2 Avatar complexity (ARC): 74 284
  17. Shopping for food. Is this fresh? Self service, or what? Where's the seller? Very refreshing to see a place which hasn't been built for giants. Ah but now I remember, it has been said that this just cannot work in SL.
  18. Exploring SL15B regions. Resting for a while. and then after... aaahhh...
  19. OMG! My friend often greets me with "huggies". Next time he uses it I will greet him back with this picture!
