Just so you know, the "list guy" is not a guy.  He's a she.  She used to pretend she was a he, and would feign great offense whenever anyone would refer to her by her actual gender.  I guess she couldn't keep up that particular bit of craziness once she started showing up in person to SLCC's.

Eh, I call her "she" because that's what she is.  It's simply a matter of being grammatically accurate.  If she invents reasons to take offense to that, it's her own problem.  I really don't care what she thinks.  If she had a Y chromosome, I'd call her "he".  But as far as I know, she doesn't.

 

About 50% of people in SL refer to me by the wrong gender pronoun, by the way, but it would never occur to me to care.  Let's see, a person I've never met in RL, and who only knows me by a smattering of pixels on a screen that can look like anything from a man to a woman to robot to a space alien at any given monent, happened to guess wrong about whether or not to include the "s" before the "he".  Uh, how could that possibly matter in any way?

I doubt the person in question actually cares either.  I can't believe it's anything other than just one more random and useless item on a long list of random and useless items that for whatever reason, she sees fit to spend her days complaining about.  Quite sad, really.

Anyway, I'll happily drop the subject now.  This person has not entered my thoughts in a good long time now, and I think it's probably best that I keep it that way.  Not much room these days for crazy folk 'round these parts.
