Anyone know why I have this line around my waist.  I use Legacy Athletic, with a Not Found Body Skin.  Even if I take the Not found body skin off, the line is still there.  It's most noticeable at side and back.

Do you have any tattoos or BOM items on?  It looks like a mismatch at the point where the 'top' and 'pants' layers meet.

From my experience, lines like those are sometimes caused by texture makers who aren't careful about tidying up their texturing and leaving "dirty" or gradient parts around the edges of the texture, which when worn look worse when the occupy the edges of default clothing layers of original bodies.

If you're wearing a mesh body, it might also be a lagged section of the body which isn't displaying texture shine/bump mapping properly, a bit like the same problem some people with mesh heads and bodys get with their necks.  Go to a quiet sim, in a corner, at a high altitude (facing outwards to the sim border) and see if it clears up after replacing outfits.

If all else fails, try an Avatar Test (Avatar> Avatar Health > Avatar Test), to restore your avatar back to default noob, then replace your outfit/look to normal appearance.

Did you try doing a rebake?

Ctrl Alt R will rebake your textures.. Then see if it's still there..

Could you take a screenshot of your 'Wearing' tab in Outfits or your 'Worn' tab in inventory with all items expanded?

It just makes diagnosing stuff like this easier, there might be something wrong.

It almost looks like a complete mismatch between upper and lower texture...

When I run into a body or head issue, I unpack a new, fresh one, and replace all the parts. If you have deleted the original pack the body came in, you can get a redelivery in the store.

In my opinion, it is faster than trying to fix it.

Have you been wearing body shine? I think it looks like the upper and lower part of the body has different shine/specularity. I do not know how Legacy work when you apply and take off materials.

The upper and lower half of your body have two different materials on.  In your Legacy hud, first tab, click one each of the shine and bump dots on the hud:

That should make it so you don't see a line.

Ajay, you were spot on with this! I've had this issue for a couple of months and it was driving me nuts. Thank you for taking the time to share that little heads up. Now mind you, I was thinking this was my issue but when I did attempt to adjust the shine and bump layers I didnt see anything change persay, more than likely it was due to a slow server response to my request and assumed it did nothing...this time, yep sure as hell. Again thank you!!

You're welcome!  It's happened to a couple of friends (as well as to me lol) so I had a feeling I knew what it was even before I opened the thread :)
