Dang it, I was staying quiet in this thread because Scylla specifically said it was FOR THE LURKERS. (And four of you actually responded, yay and thank you so much!)

Seicher sarcastically points out here one reason WHY a lot of folks are lurkers not posters. There are probably others. The bottom line though, is:

Lurkers gonna lurk. Posters gonna post. For this fundamental reason, this well-intentioned post was doomed from the start.

Oh, are alts allowed?  I'm one of Kali's alt army.  I get logged in and robbed every few months or so because I'm one of her hopper alts and get stipends that Kali steals. 

ETA: I was the first av.  Kali was the alt way back in the beginning.

I think it has been more interactions than that. The first time I met you inworld (was it the first?) I was a bit intimidated and shy (I may have hidden it). I think it was at Tralala's wonderful sim (but I could be conflating things). I just remember thinking, "Wow. Maddy! Should I say something? What should I say?"

I do recall you being a little cautious during our brief Hippiestock photo shoot. I don't know why people find me intimidating, which probably explains why I haven't been able to shake giving that impression. I was eager to put you at ease because I enjoy your humor and was hoping to draw out a little playful snark.

I did actually meet a few lurkers while composing the Hippiestock photo, but I was asking for that, much as Scylla is doing here. In the years since, I really recall only one person IMing me (at The Far Away) and mentioning their knowledge of me from the forums. That wasn't actually the reason they IMed me. It was Feynman.
