Klaus Nomi "The Cold Song"

Yes! Klaus Nomi! I'm a fan. Such a quirky, talented guy. Shamelessly original. Weird in the best, most entertaining ways. :D

Here's an old video from the beginning of his career, in which stuns an unsuspecting audience by singing the aria “Mon cœur s'ouvre à ta voix” from the opera Samson et Dalila (Camille Saint-Saëns). It was composed for mezzo-soprano (female) opera singers, yet he somehow managed to sing it quite well. People in the audience thought he was lip-syncing at first. He wasn't.

So, how did Doro Pesch and Rob Halford do with their version compared to the original?

Covering Bonnie is a bit of a fool's errand, even if you do a great job, her voice is just unbeatable.
