Will someone please just shoot me and put me out of my misery?

For close to 72 hours now, I've had the following song stuck in my head:

This has been going on ever since I suffered the misfortune of watching the Lady Gaga/Muppets' Holiday Spectacular... a program which even the staunchest of Lady Gaga fans should avoid like the plague.

Now, don't get me wrong, I happen to really like Lady Gaga and am specifically quite fond of this song.  Neither the song nor the performer who sings it is the issue.  If someone chooses to make an issue of it, that's their prerogative, but they must understand that the main point of this thread is not meant to be the debating of my musical tastes, nor yours or your neighbors', nor anyone's at all.

My problem stems from the fact that this dammed song won't stop playing over and over inside my head.  But, as if that wasn't bad enough, the organ contained inside my head has obviously decided that it would be most amusing to continuously rewrite the lyrics, over and over again, ad infinitum.

So, consequentially, anything that could even remotely be rhymed with the word applause gets incorporated into a new, usually extremely sophomoric reinterpretation... anything from Santa Clause and Doggie Paws to Grand Mals and RuPaul.  My last reinterpretation was the worst one yet...

So yeah, not pretty in the least... which is why I must be put out of my misery.  I implore anyone who is willing to put a bullet in my head to step forward and help to stop my seemingly unending suffering.  I must advise you that there will be no monetary compensation on my part, but there is a strong possibility that my sister, Grimhilda, might be willing to pay someone to stop me from randomly bursting out in RL with badly rewritten versions of a song which she doesn't particularly care for in the first place.
