  1. Fail from launch, even as a nerd my eyes started to bleed instantly from seeing the navigation menu`s and their lack off... You also have to buy his product to be even able to list anything on it, not exactly a marketplace but an extension of his vending system. Good luck to Casper for challanging the MP, but won`t use it eitherway
  2. Because it`s most likely a full perm template and they have no clue how to do it them selfs...
  3. Dyzo wrote: any full perm versions of cars around? Thankfully not!
  4. Seeing it right now with half the forum sections being spammed is kind of funny
  5. If it wasn`t long ago, you might get lucky that it`s still in your teleport history which is located next to your landmarks tab in places
  6. Did some one finally deleted that ****? :matte-motes-big-grin-squint:

If somebody is a skilled designer, I see no reason why they would need to work for somebody else unless that person already had grid-wide fame and was able to provide real exposure for the business. If a partner brought social media credibility to the partnership, and had a wide and demonstrable network, then that could possibly work, since many creators have little time for maintaining blogs/Flickr/Plurk/Twitter/Facebook/etc. An aside- Several times over the years, I've had men (all noobs in freebie business suits) tell me they can be my manager/business partner for a 50% cut. All I'd need to do is make all the content, and they would run my SL business for me. Because they have Skills. Sounds fair, huh! It's given me a giggle each time. Actually, it's not that crazy. I've been known to build projects and someone else makes the MP listing and takes the pictures and writes up the documentation and handles customer service, and we go 50/50 on sales. Why not hire them so that you have 100% for the rest of SL`s life?

  9. Atleast not an enough idiot to have been infected in years, comparing that level with infected people and me being online since the birth of the internet, you sure sound more stupid then both me and the infected people combined. Clicked something you shouldn`t have clicked that it`s a touchy subject for you? heh
  10. 15 less from a few million, I stand by my conclusion.
  11. This can be anything really, but there is an error number that gives a hint why it crashed: http://billy-oneal.com/forums/Canned%20Speeches/speechimages/bluescreen/bluescreen.png When you get that bottom number we *might* be able to help further.
  12. It`s idiotic users going rampage worldwide accepting anything and everything *clicky clicky clicky* that get infected without using their brains or commen sense and refuse to spend a few bucks on a good virus scanner while spending tons on their stupid gadgets and then complain.
  13. Your welcome and thanks for not taking my post that harshly as I do hope you will find some one willing to commit to it You might be able to increase interrest with an addon for the project that gives abit more back to the scripter then a split profit, something simple but a "wanna have" that does not need much scripting and "donate" it. Doing something like that will make the reward? (non native english) higher to actually finish and maintaining&upgrading the final system without them losing interrest in the long run. (just an idea/suggestion)
  14. Most of the companies don`t care some idiot ripped it for secondlife, I stopped caring, let it all burn...
  15. Reminds me of an old inworld IM with a random person asking me directly to create a breedable and I will share a scripter`s commen sense reply: As the scripter will have to create the entire product from scratch, we would just ask a friend to create awsome animals and keep 100% of the profit in our own pocket as we do 99.9% of the work anyway. I won`t even tell you how long the development is befor you can even release it as a product because a borked launch will trsh interrest in it pretty fast, specially if they also need to breed "somehow"... Good luck, you will definitely need tons of it!
  16. All they need to do with the ToS is to change it back to limited use but add a clause of some sort that all content can be sold through desura with permissions/restrictions set (for example, the perms used when uploading to the marketplace) Think something like this would fix it all along with an option some where to restrict sales to SL or desura.
  17. Trinity Yazimoto wrote: Alicia, the letter posted here is not the only one. we also send it by certified paper mail to Rod Humble and Peter Gray. Lol, the letter posted in the forum is just a lil extra. We are not so stupid, the main action is to send by certified mail. :smileywink: but on top to post it by certified mail we also want to use all the other possibilities we have. We have twited Rod. the letter has been posted in FB, G+ etc and as someone suggested in another thread we will also fax the letter to LL office. From what i know about the other side of the ocean (american continent), there too, when there is something to stand up for like, for example workers in a company, they first start a strike (what we are doing since a lot of us have stopped creating) and then ask for negociations. Then, when there is no answer to the negociations request, other ways of actions are choosed. As i said, this is just a first step. and no, we havent only posted this in the forum. No worries :smileywink: Lol ok, cause from what I read is that this is the letter to LL Thankfully we do the same thing then on both sides of the lake Sorry about the rants.
  18. Trinity Yazimoto wrote: Ok, so to explain a bit... We are well aware about LL doesnt care about us, creators and more generally about the whole SL ammount of SL residents. However, before starting anything, we think its fair to give them a chance to talk with us and hear us. That's how things works usually, there is a protocol in the way you have to contact an entity, for instance here a company, when you strongly disagree with something they impose to you. It would have be a governement or whatever other company, the first step is to ask officially for a meeting. If you dont do it, later, it will be soooo easy for the adversaries to blame you because you didnt make it. So, we do like it has to be done. We first ask them officially to meet them. They answer or they ignore, time will tell. We will know soon. And will make our decisions according to that. You dont think we will just send this letter and stop then, eh ? Its a start. Things have to be done correctly, in the right order, and we have to be irreproachable for they cant put the blame on us. So no. Its not a joke, Alicia, this is a just a beguining. I will skip you the waiting, you won`t get an answer. If this is the "protocol", then you guys sure work differently on the other side of the ocean. Here we send out signed letters by mail so that the big bad wolf has no leg to stand on to deny not having recieved anything when taking it a step further. This "attempt" should have been a signed letter to LL`s main office adressed to Rodvik with inworld/real contact details asking for an appointment, like the name of the lawyer that has volunteerd to help. I`ve got my self heard and got myself out under so called "contract extensions" with doing everything signed that even one time a collection agency dropped their charges and appologised with a small compensation because their client thought they could extort people. This is not even an attempt by my standards, but like I said, this is a personal belief/point/thingy so don`t get mad at me but I would have done it official from the start to invoke a reaction from our known "Who Cares" CEO. Throwing out a quick google, I would have started by pissing off the entire board and send each of them a letter just for the F` of it hah http://lindenlab.com/about ManagementRod Humble | CEOMalcolm Dunne | CFOKelly Conway | General CounselKathy Humphreys | VP of Human ResourcesDon Laabs | Senior Director of Product John Laurence | VP of ProductJeff Peterson | VP of EngineeringLee Senderov | VP of MarketingBoardMitch Kapor | Kapor Enterprises, Inc.Jed Smith | Managing Partner, Catamount VenturesBill Gurley | Partner, Benchmark Capital Dana L. 19. Toysoldier Thor wrote: Supposedly LL does not make public Rod's email address so sending an email directly to him is not an easy chore (unless one of you fellow creators / merchants know his email - then IM me to give it to me). As such, here is the letter the new UCCSL group is trying to get Rodvik to read. The UCCSL team would like all its members to distribute this letter shown below to what ever social media you all have so that Rodvik can't help but read it. No offense, but that is a joke, inworld?? most of you are from the US, make an appointment or wait at the door and put down some real contact details for it to be abit more serious. If I was in his shoes doing all that happens, the only thing I would do is think "Yeah, lol, what ever..." and return to business. LL doesn`t listens, LL doesn`t cares (except a few employees) and they will never to a "call me back" note, after all these years you would think that every one would have learned that already, not to mention that he is from EA where they have it down to art.
  20. Wrong thread, this one is a couple of months old... Here is a more recent one: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Your-Avatar/The-fear-of-child-avatars/td-p/2245191
  21. Might want to add the tier date, paying $350 one day and 2 days later another $295 isn`t fun.
  22. Men who have a female avi and have the need to hide it even further by using a morpher to mislead others aren`t men, but *********** Why the hell does it quote you now Tex? frigging forum...
