iCade wrote: Seems like we german's aren't blessed (cursed?) with huge **bleep**. ; Better to have a brain then curse gravity by the age of 40 ^^ It`s the same as you see inworld with the mesh attachements *no comment* The only way to know if it`s a teen or adult is to have a short chat that is longer then the general "Hi, how are you?" or "No teens allowed, you`re banned!" and combine that with their profile to come to a conclusion. Ofcourse, it`s SL and you might aswell just have an argument if a person is a human or furry, ofcourse he`s a furry because there are no furries in real life. */ducks*

Snickers Snook wrote: What a lot of clubs don't realize is that endless host and groupie gestures really make for a poor experience - especially for newbies. They force normal chat off the screen to the point where if you do say hi to someone publically, their answer is probably 30 lines of text down buried in ALL CRAPs. Fixed =) I leave instantly and never come back if it`s the host(s).

That`s the point, I see no improvement and so far from loading expirience there I really see no improvement with server side baking or the old way, I get the feeling it was just to dump the old clients and every one who had a 10 year old pc...

Wouldn`t know, rezzing in 40-50 people still takes 20 minutes lol

Of course you can ask why! The next door neighbor kid came to me with a similar question just last week. He found a speaker cable on Amazon that costs $14,049.75 and wanted to know if I thought he should buy few. The 232 people who posted customer reviews apparently think so. The cables get four out of five stars! Here is one of the 33 one star reviews: "My cats chewed on this cable and now they can both speak. One of them is gay and the other wants to kill me. I would have rather not known." Here is one of the 128 five star reviews: "At the urging of another reviewer, I too listened to the Beatles White Album whilst using these cables. And faintly, ever so faintly, I heard "buy Tuscan Milk, 128 fl. oz."" Unfortunately, neither you nor I knows if this answers your question, but I'm glad you asked. ;-) Now I`m inclined to read them all :matte-motes-big-grin-squint:

No, parcel sales have no transfer fee`s. Only thing that have transfer fee`s are islands.

I shudder when I remember those days. It's the gold standard by which I judge the times when SL is being fractious. :matte-motes-silly: Yep lol Every time I hear people complain that it takes two or three tp attempts to get some where at the busy places, simple scripts inducing massive lag to a point of a crash or simply that it takes awhile to render I just can`t stop thinking back to those time when nearly everything just failed non stop at peak times. Had some land smack in the middle of the mainland and the image of standing there with sims around me going offline by the dozens making me think I was on an island untill not much later the lights went off completely is still branded into my memory Edit: for some weird reason I do miss the old days, SL is so tame these days

Xen Akula wrote: I'm so glad that we have such helpful people like you to inform all of us of such things. I never would have understood what the word unscheduled meant if you hadn't explained it to me. However, the most informative part was " fixed when every one can login again" I so admire your absolutely profound intelligence. Again, thank you so much! As a long term resident, you should know how these things go, not even with a direct line upstairs they would dare to give an estimate

Has nothing to do with rolling restarts, some times just **bleep** happens. It`s still is 100 times better then 2007/2008 stability issues where it was at the worst time a daily issue heh

It`s the grid. http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ Just keep trying every couple of minutes, some times it helps, but most of the time it`s depressing

Then we can only start assuming that it`s the login servers that are starting to have problems

Try logging into "Ambrosia Dance Club" region, currently at that location and it`s up (crashed once and got in fine)
