If you attach to avatar center, it works great. Try that next time. Just remember to not TP with it attached if you wear a mesh body as you could loose the mesh body when you TP.

And there are tons of bloggers displaying no-mod clothing who manage to do a great job. You just prove that it's completely possible to match up and get great looking outfits without using mod clothing and accessories.

This hasn't seemed like a discussion to me. It's more accusations thrown at merchants, not by all, but that's how the whole thread began with the "shady" comment. The tone was set from the beginning, which was unfortunate.

If you really want to impact a merchant, don't come to the forums complaining. Go to the merchant directly. Explain your situation and see what happens. These kinds of forum posts do not help your cause with merchants.

I don't need to buy mod clothing to be able to put together an outfit from various merchants. All it takes is some know how and knowledge of what I have in my inventory. I mix and match clothing from different creators all the time. Very few of the creators I buy clothing from sell mod clothing and yet, I have no difficulty getting things to work together. It just takes some want to!

Apparently you have no idea how I sell my products or what permissions I do or do not set. Same people over and over. I don't see evidence that it's a large or even smallish percentage of the market as evidenced by what is available on the market. I don't have any problem with criticism. But when it is the same argument over and over by the same people, it gets old. In all the years I've been selling the number of customers who have asked me to make something mod that was no mod I could count on one hand. It's just not an issue in my business. The only place I see it being an issue is in the forums. I'm just going to ignore posts with this topic from now on, because it's just the same old tired argument from the same people. I will listen to my customers. I always have. They are the ones that are important to me.

This argument comes up over and over because creators aren't making mod items. And a few people like to complain and moan about it. If the complaint was valid and creators weren't selling their no-mod products they would change. But that's not the case. There is a very good market for those who choose to sell no-mod or they wouldn't keep doing it. And this very thing is what makes those who only want mod mad, so they come to the forums and complain incessantly. That's why the title of this thread is "Why do people support sellers that do no mod?". This person didn't want to know why creators do it .. he wanted to motivate people to not buy it. Well good luck with that. It's not happening.

What you're suggesting as an option is theft.

Open map and search, Salt Breeze, then scroll in very close and you should be able to see it.

Don't worry about it. I've had it happen to me as well. LOL, I didn't even realize it had happened until I edited a reply twice and realized the edits were on different posts of the same reply. I thought I was going nuts for a minute before realizing what had actually happened.

As Ethan explained, you can do this. I think what is confusing to Fritigern is how Vix worded the question. You can add extra sqm to your plan and pay tier on that extra sqm. It doesn't matter how you use that sqm. Whether you use it for a Linden home or not isn't the issue. As long as you have the free sqm and only get one Linden home per premium account you are fine. So the confusion comes from saying pay tier on the new Linden home. What you're actually doing is paying tier on the extra sqm. I have 512 of my mainland for sale because I want to free up sqm to increase my available tier so I can move from the current 512 Linden home into the new larger 1024 home. If my land doesn't sell by the time the new homes open, I will add 512 tier to my plan and just pay the increase until my land sells.

A couple things to try: check to be sure you LOD is set no less than 2.0, also check altitude. At high altitude you can get prim shift that can affect how layers appear. So if you're at a high altitude, like in a skybox, check at ground level to see if it's still happening.

I've noticed this myself. It seems that sometimes lag causes it to not catch up. So sometimes I have to relog to be able to up the donation.

I honestly think you need to be thinking soon .. not kinda soon. I really think the opening is SOON! I don't have any insider information. It's just a hunch. But I really think we're going to see the first phase open relatively soon after the closing of the Home and Garden fair. I only say this because I don't want you to not start prepping for the move. I don't want you to be caught off guard saying I wish I had put my land up for sale sooner.

This is my current tier. I have not added any sqm to my account. I only have the free 1024 sqm allotted with a premium account. On your account page, check the paid tier level and see if you have anything there. If it looks like mine then you have not added and do not need to downgrade at all. Now here is Debi's account page: She does not have a Linden home and has donated all sqm to group. I hope this helps to clarify.

Over the years I've bought and sold a lot of land. I've been in and out of Linden homes. The issues arise if you're not careful to be sure you have the free sqm or if you are downgrading but don't realize that you're paying ahead not behind. So some people end up paying an extra month because they downgraded tier but did it a day or two into the next cycle, so they end up having to pay the old tier level because they didn't downgrade before the cutoff period. But in this case the OP has 1024 sqm. She's not downgrading say from 2048 to 1024 so that won't be an issue. It's a simple swap out. One 1024 for another 1024. As long as she is completely out of the prior 1024 she will have no issues obtaining the next 1024.
