  1. This thread has been entertaining. Can we post LOLcats now?
  2. Your symptoms sound like capability failure, but I'm not seeing any caps fails on Tuvuca Bay. The region hasn't been restarted in the last 5 hours either. Strange... Logging in there, my friends list & groups list load, I can change outfits (everything rezzes normally) and I can teleport out without being disconnected.

How to attach your logs to a JIRA issue: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/How-to-report-a-bug/ta-p/733545#Section_.3 Does that crash always happen on a certain region?
  4. You can't really use planar textures for material textures, it's always been broken. Are you trying to use negative offsets for the material textures? Same reproduces on the LL viewer too. You dont even need to relog for it to break. Just exit and re-enter edit. LL viewer: Bug report: BUG-4936 - Cannot offset normal and specular map textures negitive
  5. Fixed inworld. It was an invalid head texture on an alpha layer.
  6. Couple of bug reports about the 2nd case: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-8543 - After teleporting from Region A to Region B, voice sometimes stays connected to local voice chat on Region A until you relog https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/STORM-2109 - Avatar Does not leave previous area voice during a race condition
  7. It's possible to have your avatar's voice instance on any region without being there using a modified viewer. You can hear and broadcast voice without your avatar being present. Most likely what you saw was a bug though. Sometimes when you teleport out of a region, your voice instance gets left behind at the old location and your voice will remain connected there until you logout of the viewer. It can also happen that slvoice does not shut down properly, especially after a viewer crash and your voice instance can remain connected to the region for hours sometimes. It's an old problem but fairly rare.
  8. Are they the AZOURY - ELOQUENCE heels? If so, they are actually supposed to look like that. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/AZOURY-ELOQUENCE-Platforms-Heels-BlackWhite/7244813
  9. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/RIFT-184 - Doesn't work with Oculus Rift Runtime 0.7x
  10. SaraCarena wrote: I see there`s a few jiras for Azumarill cuz Whirly just has to break things...
  11. You cannot disable Http Textures on 4.7.3. If you attempt to change the debug setting while logged in on an SL grid, the viewer will override it & Http Textures will always be enabled. UDP texture fetch has been deprecated on SL grids. How is 4.7.3 being slow for you? Is it textures and mesh that are being slow to fetch or are you having a problem with general slow performance & low FPS? Are you using Webroot antivirus software?
  12. Are you using Windows 10? If so, see here: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/win10#missing_characters
  13. Are you using Windows 10? If so, see here: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/win10#missing_characters
  14. It's probably the known file picker crash on Mac. This workaround should stop the crashes on any V3 based viewer: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/mac_crash_upload There have been a few attempts to fix this crash by LL on their viewer but so far none have worked.
  15. I suspect you have http://jira.phoenixviewer.com/browse/FIRE-16829 This affects all viewers as far as I'm aware and it only happens when Advanced Lighting Model is enabled in graphics preferences. All cases we have seen in Firestorm Support so far have been AMD R series cards. I suspect it's a driver bug specific to these cards.
  16. If you are still poking at why regions come back online with caps fail after the rolls, http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Elven%20Mist/69/117/26 has caps fail currently.
  17. That error message usually means the region has shut down the ability to rez because the memory allocated is over the limit. If you look at Statistics (CTRL+SHIFT+1), Under Simulator -> Physics details, you'll see the Memory Allocated reading. If the region is a Homestead, rezzing will be disabled when Memory Allocated is ~ 230MB. A full region will have rezzing disabled at ~ 920 MB. A region restart will fix this problem.
  18. If you mean you cannot access older snapshots on your profile feed because the More button is missing from the bottom of the page, you should be able to access all your old snapshots here: https://my.secondlife.com/miriamrose/snapshots I can't tell if that's whats wrong because your feed isn't public, but if the More button is missing, contact support and they can fix that.
  19. The bottom of the build floater is clipped off in your image. Do you have "Synchronise Materials" ticked at the bottom? If so, your image shows expected behaviour. The normal & spec repeats & offsets are locked to the diffuse texture settings. If you don't want that, untick Synchronise Materials.
  20. Is the viewer hanging so long logging in that you get timed out with the affected account or does the viewer just freeze up solid shortly after login until you disconnect? If you clear viewer cache and then restart the viewer & login the affected account, can you get logged in & stay logged in that session? If that works, you will probably have to purge cache before each session on your affected account until you get fixed. If you can always get logged in and stay logged in when cache is clean then that strongly suggests you are having the problem a lot of people are recently - a large flat inventory structure causing inventory views to take too long to create and timing you out during login. If that is the case then LL support should be able to fix you with the inventory deflatten tool. Some people with large marketplace stores only started having this problem after they were migrated over to VMM. Support appear to be sending those accounts to the JIRA to file bug reports - seems like the deflatten tool doesn't work when the problem is the VMM folder structure.
  21. Suki, I keep trying to reply to you but the forum keeps eating my posts. So here is a screenshot of what I was trying to post. http://prntscr.com/8av866
  22. Linden Lab are replacing the wonky old Webkit with Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) and there is supposed to be a project viewer appearaing Soon . Word from Oz is that CEF won't support Flash or Quicktime at all and creators will need to update their media products to use HTML5.
  23. You can download the latest version of the LL viewer here: https://secondlife.com/support/downloads/ Just run the installer manually after downloading. The auto updater can be a little tetchy. If it fails, just update manually from the link above.
