The note card might be inside the box. Assuming you opened the box it came in. I mean the box on the trivia game itself. Right click the game and choose edit. Look at the tab on the far right in the edit window. That shows what is inside the game. You might see a config note card or something like that. Double click that to open the note card. Follow the manual and type the questions in there. Or you can just use the questions that came with the game. In that case just click the game and choose from the menu. It is probably best to read the manual first on anything complicated so you don't break it. hehe

It's mostly on Marketplace that I've seen these things. I guess they can afford to be picky about how many customers they have if they are not paying tier. I have seen some very restrictive TOS for textures after spending a few thousand L$ in Second Life shops in the past, though, too. One of the most restrictive ones is notorious for pulling textures from google. Pretty funny. Except not. The ones I am thinking of say you cannot give the finished product away free under any condition or with any permissions. To me that is weird and a little egotistical too.

That sounds pretty lucky to me.

Oh I see you said male - sorry. I can make you a male Asian shape if you want or you might try this shape: His name is Jak. I try to have almost as many male shapes as female shapes but with limited space he is as close to an Asian male shape as I currently have...I'm willing to try to make one but I hesitate on custom jobs because usually what is in someone's head does not match what I can make with the basic mesh. Know what I mean?

I just put this on a similar thread but in case you don't see it. I have two adult female Asian shapes (right and left) and a female child shape that can be styled as Asian or other ways too. Here is a photo and their names. Just find them in my shop and pay 0. They are free for PERSONAL use which means you can wear them, just don't redistribute them, even with tiny changes - I ask people to make their own shapes (from the 'new shape' not from mine) if they want to sell their own shapes. As you found out making (decent) shapes isn't as easy as many claim it is. If you like these, just hitch a ride on the link in my profile picks. Anyone can use them for personal use free of charge.

I have two adult female shapes that are Asian (left and right). I have one child female shape (middle) that can be styled either Asian influence or Caucasian or probably other ways too. All of the shapes are free for personal use. Do not redistribute, keep my name on it all, and we're cool. I have other shapes there too. Same TOS. The location is in my profile picks.

Why don't you just ask questions here? We recently found out that survey takers post here so they can get email addresses and other information and do some damage. Phishing expeditions. Now we know why there are so many survey topics.

Well I can be lazy but I think that is good some of the time. You have to take it easy sometimes. I try to get what I am saying across. If I am not feeling great I might ramble. I will read long posts if they are fun to read. If they don't have a point or are just a ragefest I skip or skim. I think it is immaturity and ego a lot of times if people don't consider what their post is like to read. They are too used to everyone catering to their moods.

Some shops really don't have the card available with their TOS on it before you buy. Also some put it only in a small place on their main marketplace store, not in every listing. It can be very easy to miss. They make it look like no restrictions. I only knew about one creator's TOS because a warning review on the page of something I had in my cart. I immediately removed it. The person said they asked the creator why no TOS on the MP listing and the creator said "too bad it's in my main store page." What a bad attitude. If a customer says they were mislead by it then change it. Luckily I haven't gotten stuck with any kit that was too expensive that way. To me it's a silly thing to do to your customer because sometimes good things can happen from a hunt or a freebie. A charity auction is an awesome use of a freebie. Full perm I understand and am behind 100%. Even, don't port this to other grids although I know people who won't buy anything with that TOS on it. It gets to be a lot to remember! Do sculpt and texture creators have any idea how many sculpts and textures most people have? I will often mix and match textures and sculpts or pieces from kits to make something new. To me that is the idea. If there is one tiny part I can't use in a gift then I can't do what I wanted to do. Another kit creator put on their listings, do not put it as a freebie on Marketplace, even not full perms. They didn't want it to compete with people who sold the finished product. I can understand that. But a place in world that gives it for a seasonal gift or puts it in their lucky chair or something, not full perms. Is that hurting the market? To me it already is strange to sell it because it is a kit. There will be 10 other ones exactly like it. I guess I still don't get it but you are right. Soon as I see that it is guaranteed I buy nothing from that creator.

I just read in that other thread you linked to, Charolotte, that the purpose of the "take my survey" topics is to get the email address so they can send a worm or virus or hack in there. That is good reason for those to be banned in the forums.

That's right - I can't GIVE it away. I've been shopping for sculpt map kits to make stuff with. I have been thinking about opening a small shop. I also put out free gifts for customers that I rotate out every so often. I also make stuff for another place so they can give stuff to people who stop in. None of it has been given away full perms. Just free. Lately I've seen more and more TOS with the kits that forbid the item to be given free - ever. No hunt gift, no midnight mania gift, no gift of any kind. I saw another TOS that said the finished item can't be sold for less than 50L. Today I saw a TOS that said you can't use it in a poseball, no matter which permissions you set. And it had some of the other restrictions too. I don't mind restrictions like: cannot port to other grids or worlds, cannot upload to other games, or cannot modify the textures. Even if those are often only available AFTER you buy the kit. But why do creators feel they have to tell people who they can give it to or how much they can charge? Why is it forbidden to give it away? Thoughts??

Slink is the best and easiest I have found so far. The HUD is pretty simple to use even if I can never remember how to save a color. I wish Stiletto Moody shoes would get a new HUD theirs is just torturous. Shop around for hunts, lucky chairs and sales because I often see decent prim feet shoes for really cheap. The quality varies. But for free to 60L it's worth trying sometimes.
